there was a time in America in which case her friends were getting bullied. when she saw them getting beaten and crying, she did not bat an eyelash before raising a fist to the opponent's face, knocking him of the ground.( she's really strong, leave it at that) . however, afterwards she continued to do some playful teasing  to her friends, saying that they were really to weak and needed her help with a joking smile. although she can be mean and downright bipolar, adding to her crazy-weird-feelings, she is really reliable and helpful in time of need!  so,basically, she is a Tsundere with some problms and weirdness mixed into it.....

Backstory : 
before Karasuno, she joined her American's elementary school's girls basketball team.( that's how she got tall, other than the genetic traits). after that, she came to Japan and became interested in her middle school's volleyball team, and wanted to try something different. when she was defeated, however, she pledged to become a great volleyball player that no one can beat. At the time, Karasuno had just reclaimed their fame as a power house. As it was closer to her house than the school that she wanted to go, she settled with Karasuno for convenience sake and to improve her volleyball skills. with her grades it was not even a challenge to get into the school of her choice, which caused her to end up in Karasuno

Relationships :
She became good friends with her sempai, Tsukishima Kei's brother., who was tutoring her at the time.she saw how passionate he was about basketball, and when his heart was broken into pieces he wanted to 'avenge' him and it added even more determination to her goal

Q1) so, what do you think about Karasuno?

" well, at first i was shocked. i mean, compared to the other power houses, they don't really have good equipment. it doesn't matter though. once i'm through with this place, it would be so full of trophies and good equipment that you won't even know it was a run-down gym like this."

Q2) seniors?

"Nishinoya-san was cool... although, i think that tsukishima-san had it the worst. i mean, dealing with 2 idiots all the time and actually working with them? unbelievable. Personally, i think that suga- san had it the worst. he was the mom and all, and i think that that job is the hardest job of all.... not that i know, of course."

Q3) if you're team lost a match, what would you do?

" we won't lose, but.... i guess i'll want to help them to the best of my abilities to help them get back on their feet... i don't want a repeat of what happened to Akiteru-san.... Ah! no that i care of course!"

Q4) since when did you call tsukishima akiteru by his first name?( yes i kno cue the fanbase screams)

" i-i-i don't know what you're suggesting but please stop! i don't like im in that way!... it's just..... he got do disappointed and it's like he regretted something, and i want to do my best to return the favor of him helping me! besides... i... don't like my friends to be unhappy and i want them to live hte best life that they deserve! it's not like i care and crush on them so much!"

Experience : 
played ever since 1st year of middle school, has been playing ever since.

played as she wanted a change of pace and had  seen a match of Karasuno and thought that volleyball was fun and she joined.

she has played in one of the strongest powerhouses in the entire Miyagi preecture and has won countless tournaments due to her impeccable blocking

Advantages :as she is tall for the females, she specialises in getting high balls that none of her other team mates can reac. she's extremly fast and has quick reflexes, making her on par with the boy's volleyball team, or maybe even better.

Disadvantages : she is not particularly good at teamwork, and often bumps into her fellow peers as they try to help her block the ball, after which she gets mad at them for blocking the way.

Why did they come to Karasuno : it was due to convenience sake, as her house was only a few minutes drive away by bike. she also wanted to see what her tutor tsukishima akiteru was talking about when he said that Karasuno was a super strong power house before, even though it is in ruins now. she wants to see what is so special and if they can help her achieve her maximum potential.
