BACKGROUND INFO
THE PAST OCCASIONALLY SHAPES PEOPLE
junghwan's parents were never married and his mother left them both when she was nineteen and junghwan was two, moving to germany. there, four years later, she married a korean man, and they had a young child, where yoon mika enters the page. the two were overjoyed.
"Maybe that's the last time he was ever happy."
"There was a time he smiled? Did the sun came down from the west?"
mika showed his eidetic memory ever since he was young, and his father always saw a good potential in him. as a former soldier (not as in he had been in military service only; he ranked better), mikah was basically put into a boot camp since young; compassion never existed every time he was absent from his mother's view, and slowly, piece by piece, he lost all the fun he had when he was young. he was almost always seen unhappy, but the deadliest technique was one; to put aside all his emotions when he focuses on others. it's the technique when he is observing people; all eyes, ears, mouth, and body ready, always be hyper aware, but never, ever react to anything unless forced. when there are dangers, then he would properly react to it; violence.

mika's mother knew of it anyways. when she discovered what her husband had been treating him with, she filed the divorce papers, and moved to berlin, germany. he was ten around this time. five months and he hadn't been able to go to school without having teachers called him out, either from bullying cases (and yes, he fought back), and being expelled. so she was desperate, and called her ex-boyfriend for help. one way out of another, he was persuaded by her, and talked to junghwan of it. junghwan wasn't impressed.
"still bitter?"
"oh, uhm, hey, how if the mom that doesn't want you suddenly pleads to you to help her other son?"
and junghwan would've punched him. after an arranged flight to seoul, mikah gets to live with junghwan, by then 16. his father and mikah are in a tense relationship, but the elder man, a psychologist, tries his best to make him comfortable or feel welcomed. junghwan, on the other hand, ignores him at immediate, and had him in a contempt situation. they both ignored each other, but mikah wasn't taking the whole "be-ignored-all-the-time" situation.
"you know he had methods on trying to know people?"
"should've known. but i don't stand ungrateful rascals that insult my father."
on one fateful day, an exhausted junghwan was on the urge to kill mikah. and the latter knew; he had provoked junghwan by calling his father on being 'incompetent'. with no doubt, junghwan lunged at him, but mikah proved to be a harder obstacle to begin with. but in a one-on-one physical fight between the two, junghwan won. and mikah, for the first time, was dazed by the surprise. however, mikah apologized, and for another first time, with warmth and sincerity, albeit rough. he also admitted that his father was 'kind' and 'supportive'. deep down, he was envious of their relationship. junghwan had thoughts of it over the night, surprised by both; his fighting skills, and obvious emotions; it just takes him time to admit them. the next day, they reconciled.

PRESENT TIMES CHANGE THEM
mikah got forced into the academy when he was ten. and while he was unwilling, he wasn't willing either to piss junghwan off, so he took a step in the academy. he thought it was ridiculous, at first. idols and spies barely got along; one was to show, and the other was to hide. nothing relates to it, but as time passes, he took a fondness into the immediate contrast; and he also discovered what he likes; rapping. he heard of how people rapped, their feelings poured into a story, for people around to know of it. his immense talent in writing. so he enrolled in some entertainments, Big Three included, but settled for Big Hit when he was 14. he hasn't moved ever since, and when rigid personality is included, he was swept for debut in BTS (yes, ouch), and planned to be a soloist, possibly.
his favorite classes came from yoonhwa, for the wrong reasons. he's the lazy one and his classes are the easiest (both being his biggest strengths). he doesn't like joonho's classes, but acknowledged he has good teaching skills (a reverse of hating teacher, loving subjects). he's not interested in cheolsoo's classes either, but he's more willing to skip them, if he had all the chances to. he's getting his whooped if he dares to skip junghwan's, however. he is mildly enjoying them.
he has been executing very simple missions (such as retrieving files given the access), rarely being in a group for all the good for the rest. teamwork isn't his best forte, but he has been trying to work with them when given the group missions, solely because he didn't want junghwan to whip him out either. and right now, he's learning mixed martial arts to reinforce his strengths, long-range rifles, preferably, and how to act acceptable within the eyes of others. he's not tested for his mental health, but he can cope with several interactions a day (but had the wrong responses). he's desperate for acting classes solely to help him survive.
he is best with long-range weapons, end of the story. bows and arrows, guns (mostly rifles) as he waited outside the line, for his enemy to approach. he observes their movements, takes the best stance, and attacked them afterwards. he doesn't utilize strength, but intellegence. he's very agile, however, and was nicknamed 'ghost' for a reason. he appears, disappears, flies (no, he doesn't) and goes everywhere he likes without anybody knowing.

GREATEST STRENGTH / his intellegence. had he worked hard enough, people knew he had eidetic memory from a few glances, and was able to bring out a new, fresh perspective in any situation (which not only allows him to recognize patterns and details, but to also utilize them to his likenings). he's detailed in his work and always observant to other people's traits. he's willing to set aside himself that he gets to bring, analyze, and feel personalities, even those that he just met. and yes, he was well-aware why he was able to shoot targets to his likening.
GREATEST WEAKNESS / a lack of drive. to junghwan's constant frustration, Mika's technique of stripping his own traits for others had ended up in expense to lacking a personality, trait, or even passion. he only found rapping and writing lyrics to be his only release valve, where a pent-up, angry, sad, broken, violent, and jaded streak could be expressed freely. he's broken, possibly beyond repair, but junghwan's out to change that. how long has it been that he felt happiness? maybe it was long ago. but today, that's not who he is. the lack of everything drives his emotions thwarted of balance, making him very, very difficult to make friends or finding interests with.
IDOL LIFE
TALENT / soloist (rapper). yes he does have an exceptional talent as a rapper.
BALANCE / although had a difficult personality to begin with, mika outside of bang-gi looks 100% different - and he is willing to put past his preferences to his passions. he is more talkative, not exactly adorable (even if blessed with the face), but willing to contribute. bless the kid for being able to act and remained focus, either way. he's not recommended to being in a group for the same reason.
REASON / "paperworks and power politics. the shallower the idol industry is, the more you can avoid corrupt, judgeful politics. and to be honest, i highly doubt any students in this school likened to an idea of being involved in the same thing."
TRIVIA
— after his defeat when he was ten, he still tries to get back after eight years on junghwan. so far, he records an almost 500 loss and no wins against the guy. his goal after graduating bang-gi? kick junghwan's off for another 500 times.
— hyper aware of his surroundings; he didn't have really nice sleep episodes, and always the quickest to turn to the slightest sounds.
— can be seen in three locations (other than his company); sleeping in yoonhwa's class, reading for hours in the library, or gardening. he (surprise surprise!) loves taking care of plants to watch them grow. also, occasionally cares for stray dogs.

— his mother and father's surnames are kim and yoon, respectively. junghwan's surname is kang, and mikah didn't include his name in the family list, only his mother (i think it's somewhere in the law that you don't have to include the half-family's name?)
— his stage name, edel, came from the german word 'edel'; meaning of 'noble'. mikah itself means 'humble' or 'humility'.
— mikah almost never interacts with students of his age, and the others barely knew of him either. so either way... him being chosen gets him and the others extremely surprised, no matter how much junghwan has been talking about his 'potential'.
— his relationship with junghwan is brotherly, as far as anyone can think. while they both rarely interact in bang-gi, but whenever he's home, both are on good terms and a healthy relationship. he's still keeping in contact with his mom whenever he's available, yet never met his biological father again, after the incident. he still couldn't forget his face, or scars, whenever he's in a nightmarish episode.
— a numb sense of flavor, surprisingly. he needs to eat either : 'very spicy', 'very salty', 'very sweet', or 'very bitter', the first and last being his favorite. he can withstand pure coffee and jalapeno, given the chance to eat them.
— he isn't actively seeking any love interests either.
— it's apparent he doesn't have a lot of friends and more less acquaintances, but as far as anybody is surprised, still manages to develop a platonic relationship with the gaehwa student min sodam (lolita) after she gutted him out in one mission (more like a mission turned into a duel). as a punishment, he's been her butler for the rest of the month. and that also includes carrying her around his shoulder with the mildest interest while trying to get his back at her.

[mika frowned. he tapped his fingers at the table, and his lips] i am not assured. ["you know the answer,"] i acknowledge the fact that he is frustrated with how i seemed to be wasting my time here, although i am not sure what other reinforcements or motive to drive him to drafting me here.

an interesting project, i suppose [mika clasped his hands at the table, leaning slightly closer] i have no qualms in issues regarding gender equality on the workforce... but i myself do not have an interest in interacting with people. it would be interesting to bring a new perspective of students in a chaos, however.
