PERSONALITY :　As the sun sets, Joongki becomes almost a different being. He becomes brighter, stronger, faster, better.  He acts as if he's everyone's best friend and to do that, he changes his personality to fit the other's preference. But despite all the changes, he still has a confident, bold face. A bold face that leads to many new discoveries which often ends up with either a new friend or someone needing to guide him back to a safer spot. Joongki is the type of person who acts first, thinks later. He doesn't necessarily take into consideration of outside aspects impacting his decision. Negatively, he's always in everyone's buisness. Of course, he has innocent intentions with to help everyone in his problems but anyone can agree that it is not necessary. 

There are a few aspects from the Joongki in real life that transitions into the Joongki in game. His moods still occurs which can affect his behavior significantly. He still has yet to be open about his secrets to share with ohter friends. Whenever anyone tries to pull a secret out of him, he gets defensive quickly. He can be chirpy and happy one second but then go quiet the next. When he's in a bad mood, his impulsiveness hits and could spit out an insult at someone without thinking. It's a hidden low Joongki always hides unless the situation is bad enough for him to make him livid.

joongki and jiyoung are the defintion of 'opposites' attract. they're always snarky towards eachother and bicker to no end. but, despite the stinky eyes and crossed arms, they're closer than what everyone expected. they've hopped game to game in the past and it was maverick that solidified their bond. one iconic thing between the two is how the two become one during guild annoucements with tiny  dwarf jiyoung standing on tall hybrid joongki.

PERSONALITY TRAITS :

PERSONALITY :　Expressive was never in Joongki's dictionary or anything related to him. He was always stern with his actions and never went out of line. He's the type to be near the walls of the party instead of the center. He's not the most talkative so as a listener, he always pays attention even to the slightest detail by habit. Although his stern serious persona is all anyone sees on the outside, when he's around friends, he's more laid-back and not as up-tight as others may think he was. The student 

But, being secluded to only a few amount of people can have it's downsides. Joongki was never a mingler, he was too hesitant to go up to someone and say 'hello', it'd take his friends centuries for him to go up and introduce himself. It also takes him centuries to pick out if he wants this or that, only because he was so used to having everything that the simplest decisions can be tough. In addition, Joongki was always nice, but he can never detect whenever someone's playing around with him or if anything, if anyone has a simple crush on the boy. Any resistance Joongki has always alters his mood, he doesn't show it but he was always quick to change. 

BACKGROUND :　Kwon Joongki was raised among servants and his father’s trusty secretary alongside. His father was a divorced man who's well known among others. His mother was an unknown story, he didn’t know too much about her even when she was around. His brother was sent abroad to be the heir of his father’s company. All his life, he was alone, raised by strange faces he never knew and only became friends with children of families associated with his father.

There was something about the other children that Joongki seemed to lack; awards, trophies, titles, and accomplishments. Joongki didn’t have to reach a certain age to understand how often he hears adults talk about their children. He didn’t peek at his father to know that his father could only list out what he’s learning since Kwon Joongki has no reputation except for ‘youngest son of the Kwon family’. Because of that, his father caged him under a strict regime; private tutoring, archery lessons, and violin lessons in hope that something like ‘prodigy’ and ‘genius’ well come out of his son. The lessons continued for years and Joongki became trapped under his father’s rule.

The teenager needed an escape.

He didn’t want to face the reality of useless private teachers leeching off his father’s money, spoiled kids running their mouth off about the amount of green pouring out of their pockets, unescapable expectations to living up to his family name. He had the perfect grades as his father desired, he had perfect performances in sports as his father desired, and he had the perfect behavior in family parties as his father desired. Everything is all about his father and Joongki almost became sick of it to hearing it. He felt more like his father’s puppet rather than a son as he’s living life by the direction of his father.

That’s why, when Joongki was roughly a pre-teenager, he resorted to games as his escape. He didn’t have to portray the ‘perfect kid’ in games. His reputation didn’t follow him into the digital realm. He didn’t have to worry about how well he had to do in quests as long as it was accomplished. He felt satisfied with his identify unknown,  letting others see 'Kwon Joongki' as a normal person. 

By the time it was Valentine's Day, instead of recieving chocolate, he recieved news of a beta version released of a new mmorpg and Joongki couldn't be more thrilled to join. Now in 2016, Joongki still faces the rough world during the day and escapes to his haven at night.

even when joongki and jonghyun were together at the dinner table, it was hard to talk to eachother when they live two different lives. one was on their way to being the leader of the company, the other being a kid with riches. when jonghyun was sent abroad, it seems like the connection between the two has cut off from there. 

▸ father — kwon joohyuk (57) / CEO / strict, cold, distant / 2 out of 10
the two never met on equal terms. if anything, they only communicate through his secretary, song youngji. joongki listens to whatever he says and that's all the two have in their relationship. 

▸ best friend — lim changkyun (18) / student / witty, friendly, outgoing / 8 out of 10
ever since joongki went to school, changkyun was the first to approach him. the two managed to hit it off and ever since then, they stuck together. they were opposites, changkyun and joongki, but that goes to show how well the phrase 'opposites attract' is. (i.m. from monsta x)

What kind of weapon do you use? please describe it. : 

▸ I use two swords and it's like....this long. I stated with my arms extended out. Annnd this thin. Immediately retracting my arms and barely making any space between my pointer finger and thumb. I don't know how else to describe. But it's sharp! It looks similar to the Japanese swords that Samurai's used to, so that's pretty cool. I nodded in satisfaction. 

why did you pick the class you chose? : 

▸ Because...two swords are better than one? I grinned sheepishly. It was the only reason I had in all honesty. It looks cool too and it's my usual go-to classes in most mmorpgs. 

why did you want to join maverick? : 

▸ Because Jinyoung for-asked me to, and I was like, "well why not?" 

do you think you are worthy of joining maverick? : 

▸ I mean if Jiyoung asked me, then I'm probably worthy because I'm also leading this guild.

HOW DID YOU DECIDE YOUR race? : 

▸ I usually do a race that's not human and then I let fate decide from there along with the customization choices.  It was between elves and hybrids and so, I let a coin choose and here I am, a furry.
