thank you

According to AFF I joined in September 2014. But this account was almost dormant until I started crossposting in February this year (2016). Since then, in a mere four and a half/five months, I have grown to have over 600+ subscribers and I am so. so..... astounded. I dont even have the words to express how grateful I am and how humbled I feel that so many people think the words I write have substance, that they mean anything.

In general, AFF has helped me regain my confidence in writing fic for fandom - I still love LJ, but AFF has given me a lot more response in terms of subscribers, comments, and just letting me know people actually look at what I post. And even if I only count HALF of them, it is still much much more feedback than what I have received on LJ.

Not to say I will stop posting to LJ and switch solely to here - I still generally find LJ's formatting nicer to look at and I get confused by AFF's layout sometimes still - but that I will keep posting here, that I will continue to crosspost my old fics because not everyone understand's LJ's formatting and it gets my fics out there for more people to enjoy.

Because at the end of the day that's what I'm doing this for - enjoyment. I write because I enjoy it. I share because I've learned that other people enjoy it.

So thank you for letting me share these stories with you. For putting up with my crazy brain and for giving me the confidence to keep doing this.

Thank you so, so much. I don't think I'll ever be able to say it enough or explain myself properly, but I am incredibly grateful, and it's all thanks to all of you.
