PERSONALITY

— 'I myself am entirely made of flaws, stitched together with good intentions.'

(+) Selfless, Passionate, Protective, Loyal, Hardworking

(|) Independent, Strength, Sarcastic

(-) Stubborn, Closed-off/Untrusting, Self-Blaming

Min Eun-Hui tends to be pretty closed off from people, she hasn't had the easiest life and has had to grow up and mature very early in her life. Because of certain events she has learned to be a very independent and finds trusting those around her, very difficult. Since her father wasn't there for her much after her mother's death, she tends to hold back from telling people if things are troubling her, she closes herself off so that she is not disappointed in people for not caring.

Eun-Hui loves dancing, she's been doing hip-hop and ballet since she was old enough to walk, and has been doing contemporary since she was 12. It is the only thing that connects her to her mother, other than the necklace she wears. It is the one stable thing in her life and so she puts all of her passion into practice. Because of her busy schedule she doesn't really have time for much else, in future she would like to try something different, but for now, she is working hard for opportunities that were not offered to her. Music and dance are her life and her escape route, it is what she loves doing the most. She is very hardworking but doesn't want to commit herself to too many things at once, so for now, it is; dance, work, sleep and friends, primarily.

She is extremely selfless, she often doesn't think of herself, which gets her into trouble a lot of time, especially when it involves her father. Despite advice from her few close friends, she is very stubborn and so out of pride continues to ignore her own needs in favour of those around her's needs.

Eun-Hui is very strong, she never lets herself cry, she does not believe in showing weakness. This mindset means that she can be quite passive-aggressive. She does not try to start trouble, but she holds grudges and is not afraid to stand up for herself, no matter how intimidating the problem she is facing, is. This also means that if those she cares about are threatened or in trouble she does not take it well, and will do anything in her power to protect them. If she fails or disappoints someone she has a hard time letting it go, and continues to blame herself even if she is forgiven.

Eun-Hui is quite quiet at first, as she is scared of disappointing people. However, if an effort is made, she will be one of the most loyal friends you can get. She can also be quite sarcastic and loves to laugh (this does not happen often, only around her two best friends). She understands when it is the right time to laugh and when to get serious about things.

BACKGROUND

SOCIAL CLASS — Middle Class, then Lower Class
EDUCATION — Primary School in Incheon, Primary School in Australia, as well as Middle and High School in Australia. Did not attend University.
EMPLOYMENT — Part-time job at a grocery store in Seoul. Casual work as a Dance Instructor in the studio that she goes to.

CHILDHOOD: Min Eun-Hui was born into a middle-class family, it wasn't extravagant, but it was comfortable. She was born to her Father Min Ha-Joon, and her Mother Min Jang-Mi (formerly Kim Jang-Mi), on the 10th of October in 1994. She lived the first seven years of her life as a quite average child in a perfect mediocre life. She was taught piano and dance and was extremely close to her very loving parents.

Her Mother was a stay at home mum, but her Father had a full-time job as an electrician. Their income wasn't fantastic, but they owned a house and could provide meals for themselves and love and care for their daughter. They also had a separate account set up for their daughter, with savings for whenever she needed them in the future.

This all changed, a few months before her seventh birthday when her house caught fire. Her father woke up and called the fire department to report the fire, however by the time he had woken up and done this, his wife was trapped on the top floor, unable to escape. Ha-Joon managed to save his daughter, however, she suffered from the sounds of her mother screaming for help and the burn of the intense inferno.

Her Mother was rushed in an ambulance to the hospital after the firemen had rescued her. However, her burns were much too severe and she died 45 hours later. One nurse gave Eun-Hui the silver, engagement ring that was on her mother's finger, which she now wears around her neck on a simple chain, at all times. A funeral was held a few days later with only a few close family and friends attending.

Eun-Hui's Father sank into deep depression, not being able to handle the loss of his wife. He stopped going to work, and Eun-Hui stopped attending school. Eventually being unable to handle being in their empty home, Ha-Joon packed up what could be salvaged from their house and took Eun-hui to Australia to start fresh (Australia being as far as he could afford to move).

Learning English was hard, but Eun-Hui eventually learnt the basics with the help of one girl who befriended her at school. Ha-Joon was able to find some work in Australia, however, he was unable to support them very well. They ended up in a small rented house living a low-class lifestyle. However, they stayed thankful for the fact that they had food on their plate. In exchange for doing some electrical work around the studio, Eun-Hui could attend lessons in dance at a small studio in her neighbourhood.

ADOLESCENCE: Despite her unfortunate life, Eun-Hui learnt to cope with her personal tragedies and find some joy in life, she made two close friends in middle school and high school, Kim Taehyung, a half-Korean male who had moved to Australia when he was three, and Bella Jones, an Australian born, blonde who Eun-Hui shared dance classes with.

In High School, Eun-Hui was quite reserved, she did not join and school clubs but focused on her study's in hopes of earning a scholarship. She became fluent in English and scored high in all her classes. She picked up two part-time jobs to help her father pay for their home, food and other expenses. She became very mature and even more distanced from her Father. Nothing particularly exciting happened through her high school experience. As the workload and pressure from school and work began to get too much for Eun-Hui, her grades began to drop. She graduated with great scores, however, she did not earn the scholarship she wanted.

ADULTHOOD: Despite the lack of scholarship, Eun-Hui continued to work hard at her jobs and took up another part-time job. She started saving her money in the hopes of earning enough to move back to Korea with her Father, who had slowly been getting better, but was still a bit unstable. Seeing her efforts, her Father gave her all the savings that were left from the account they had started when she was a baby. Her Father told her to move there and not worry about him. Initially, Eun-Hui did not want to leave her dad, however, her friends (Taehyung and Bella) managed to convince her to take the opportunity, saying that they would come with her to attend university there. When she was 19, after a teary goodbye, Eun-Hui got to Korea and moved into a studio apartment next to the two that her friends had gotten, each respecting her space, knowing that she didn't sleep the best.

She got work at a local grocery store (full- time from 9 AM to 3pm) and at the dance studio that she rents a private room. It is affordable for her as it is only a small studio and room. She is occasionally joined by Bella, but mostly practices alone. She works a lot and sends anything she can spare home to her Father.

CURRENT EVENTS

Eun-Hui still lives in her studio apartment in Seoul and has started saving some of the money she makes. She has been living in Korea for about 3 years. She usually wakes up at 6 AM, goes to the dance studio for 2 hours, comes home and gets ready for her job at the grocery story, she works there till 3pm and if she is needed to instruct at the studio, she goes there for usually 2 to 3 hours. After that she either goes home or practices for a few more hours, depending on how her day has been.

On June 8th, Min Eun-Hui had had a particularly long day and had decided to stay a bit longer at the studio. All of a sudden, all of the lights went out. Eun-Hui looked out the window and saw that the entire city had had a blackout. This hadn't happened before to Eun-Hui and so she decided to quickly get back to her apartment. Everyone seemed to be locked up in their houses, it was eery, and so she quickly hurried back to her apartment and locked the door before quickly eating and sleeping.

SEOUL INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY QUESTIONNAIRE

HOW DID YOU FIRST MEET THE EXPERIMENT? — One night on her way home from work, Eun-Hui spotted what looked like a small fire within an old abandoned building across the street. She reported it to the fire station, as she didn't want to take the chance of others being affected the way she was, in case the fire grew out of control. Not wanting to get too close out of fear, she stayed firmly against the wall on the other side of the street, deciding to stay until the firemen came and then getting away as quickly as possible.. As the sirens grew closer, she spotted a man coming out of the side door of the building, looking quite frantic.  He paused upon seeing her for a second, before running away in the opposite direction of the firetrucks.

She followed him for a few steps before giving up and walking back to talk to the firemen, before leaving to go home, unknowing of a pair of curious eyes following her movements.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT MEETING SOMEONE WHO HAS SUPERPOWERS? DID YOU BELIEVE HIM AT FIRST? — Eun-Hui can be very sarcastic, so after hearing about the powers she simply answers with sassy remarks and tried to leave. However, after feeling heat on her skin, she turned back to see a small flame, hovering above his hand. She started to have a panic attack, however when she calmed down she had no choice but to believe. She tried to stay away from Chanyeol out of fear, however after hearing his story she offers to help him and give him a place to stay.

HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT SIST AFTER HEARING ABOUT THE EXPERIMENTATION?DID YOUR PERCEPTION CHANGE? — Whilst SIST had always been very distant to Eun-Hui's life, after hearing about Chanyeol's experiences and the horrendous acts of SIST, she has no choice but to hate them. Who are they to harm such an innocent person? Because of the fact that he was forced into the experiments and the fact that he trusted her with his story and power, she decides to give hm a chance and let him in.

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR THE FUTURE? — Eun-Hui would like to get a more permanent job as a dance instructor or even a choreographer. She hopes to help Chanyeol with his problems and eventually bring her Father back to Korea.

PASSWORD LUCKY ONE

PARK CHANYEOL

— OH SEHUN

PERSONALITY BEFORE — Before being 'picked up' Chanyeol was a carefree boy who was liked by everyone. He was popular at school and had many friends. He was always happy and loved making everyone laugh. He could be a bit childish but that was mostly because his mother (Mrs.Park) was very protective and caring of him.

Chanyeol had lost his father at a young age and so understands pain and grief, however, he decided that instead of being depressed he would become stronger and not let anyone feel pain like he had.

PERSONALITY AFTER  — Slowly Chanyeol's happiness dwindled. He initially had hope of rescue and that he would see his mother again very soon. He tried to make the other experiments feel better, however, after a year or two, he slowly became quieter and more reserved. He stopped being as feisty to the SIST out of fear and began to become less and less trusting.

Eventually, he gave up hope of rescue, if not for the other boys he probably would have given up completely. He matured very quickly over the year from the calm, carefree boy who was full of enerygy to the withdrawn freak he believed himself to be.

RELATIONSHIP & HISTORY — At first Eun-Hui wants absolutely nothing to do with him, she hates fire and doesn't trust someone who can conform it to their will. She first sees him on the streets as he runs away, however, after that night, she begins to see him more and more often. One day when she sees him standing outside of the grocery store she walks out and confronts him. He confesses that his mother owns the store and that he wishes he could talk to her but is scared. She asks him why he has been following her, he denies it. She gets frustrated and walks back in.

A week later she finds him sitting in an alleyway, alone and shivering. She offers him a hot chocolate at the cafe down the street. He accepts hesitantly. When they get there she buys the hot chocolate and asks him about why he was in the alleyway and why he hasn't told his mum about him yet, after they walk out of the shop. He says that it has been too long and that he has changed too much. He doesn't want to open old wounds. She asks how he's changed and he shows her his power, she gets scared and he tells her his story. She takes pity and offers him a place as a guest in her home until 'his nightmares are a distant memory'.

After Eun-Hui experiences a nightmare and Chanyeol comforts her, she tells him about her past and they feel like they understand each other. They naturally become close friends and work well together.

ENDING — They slowly help each other get over their nightmares and care for each other, because they understand each other better than anyone else. It is up to you whether or not they ever get to together, however, I can see them being very close for quite a while, at least until they have both been healed. I can also see Chanyeol eventually going to his mother and not telling her everything, but simply being there for her.

OTHER — Eun-Hui will often spend her night at the studio with Chanyeol or catching him up on all her favourite modern music and movies.
