TELL ME about yourself.
chaeyoung waits patiently as the interviewer assembles the camera at her direction. with a silent sigh and a barely noticable smile, chaeyoung begins with the interviewer is ready.
' i'm yang chaeyoung, currently working as a physical educations' teacher in ewha girls' high school. i was born in nineteen-eighty-six, september fourth and thirty-one, in korean age of course. '
she slouches slightly before recomposing herself but her calm exterior stayed; though to be frank, chaeyoung was obviously nervous. chaeyoung tilts her head slightly as she heard the interviewer ask about what others think of her.

' my students, ' chaeyoung began and stiffled a giggle, ' they say i'm very easy to undo, as in having fun. i may seem strict but i can say i'm friendly with everyone. they say i'm also obvious when i show my emotions or likes; am i? '
the interviewer and staff was almost tempted to nod in response but was against it. the poor woman was obviously uncomfortable with the amount of staff and the interview.
' okay, erm, my students always say i'm efficient too. i get everything done on time but sometimes i can be quite rushed at times. '
' i live on the borders of seoul, so not exactly where it's busy but it can be during rush hours but my husband used to drive me- '
chaeyoung froze and stared at the camera; she had forgotten a major part of her introduction and instead giggled a bit, ' i'm married to my husband of four years, but we'll talk about that later, and i have a toddler; which my husband takes care full time. which is probably why i have a full time job. it's quite stressful though. '
' speaking of stress, ' chaeyoung bit the inside of her lip, ' i think i can cope well with it, i don't panic as much as other people do and i only tend to rush a little. like when i first became a teacher, the girls were very unnaccepting of me; wasn't listening, wasn't paying attention. i was very stressed out but i slowly worked out how they wanted their classes to be. '
any tv-worthy tales to tell?
' as i've stated before, i'm married. i met my husband, yang jisung, about, thirteen years ago? during highschool and we dated, a year after we met. it's quite romantic, but you wouldn't want to know! '
chaeyoung gave out an airy laugh and recomposed herself, ' we married in 2012 and year later, our first child was born. ahh, haneul is a lovely child. but jisung had to quit his job as a salaryman to look after her, no one else would take care of her. '
' before i had haneul, i went to university to train as a physical education and health teacher. i got a master degree of teaching and for other subjects and i got the job of being a teacher in ewha girls' high school in 2014. it was stressful. '
' the neighbourhood i live in is eunpyeong-gu, so i drive early in the morning to get to seodemun-gu, where i work. jisung and i used to live in gangnam for university, but it was too expensive by the time we graduated. ' chaeyoung nodded as she heard herself correctly. she paused and awaited for the next question.
' the only thing i dislike about my life? not spending time with my daughter. it's just that, my work life gets in the way, that i want to get some more money to live on so i can take a leave. it takes a lot of money but i don't want to quit my job in order to be with my daughter. it's one of the reasons why i joined this show; jisung actually wanted to do this...but he can't cook! jisung said that he wants to use the money for a family holiday, we haven't done that since we've married and it's been six years? it's a shame really, which is why i want to do it for my husbanf too, this show. '
' where we would go? using the prize money if i did win? ' chaeyoung leaned back and grinned in thought, ' somewhere with a beach and with no too much pollution? i think jeju island is okay but jisung wants somewhere more extravagant, like bali or california. '
chaeyoung sighed with discontent, almost shaking her head but she though against it. she then pulled out her phone from her jean's pocket, ' here's haneul, isn't she the cutest? that was...last week? ah, there's a photo of jisung and i last month during a family gathering.kyeopta. '

please pretend that n is at least sojin/chaeyoung's age because i seriously could not find anymore pictures of sojin with a male.
why do you want to join flambÉ?
' you can say i love cooking, ' chaeyoung shrugs with a slight giggle, ' since i already have a full time job and being a teacher was my dream, being a chef never really crossed my mind. '
' but i've always been a good cook. since i teach pdhpe, i know i lot about nutrition and dieting, which helps me cook my food alongside by family's food as well. '
chaeyoung clasped her hands once more, ' to be honest, i don't see myself as a big competitor. i'm not that fierce and i tend to be in the background. i'll be the one that makes everything healthy, i bet you. the only thing that i've made that isn't as healthy is tiramisu cake! '
she gave out a tiny snort, covering as she did so, ' ah, thank you for having me now. this is the end of the interviews, correct? '
yang chaeyoung stood up, giving a hearty giggle and smile before bowing deeply to the staff.
