BACKGROUND :　to start things off, eunha's life is not some korean drama. she's your typical girl, but she feels blessed at the fact that she's surrounded by so many amazing people who had made her into the person she is today.

eunha was born in busan, south korea. she is a lover of the fresh busan water, even though she has no idea how to swim. throughout her adolescent life, she was always around music. eunha's father was a police officer while her mother was a vocal instructor, and her older brother was a full time annoying . since her father was always working, eunha's mother took care of the two children and taught them the many different styles of music and how music itself is art. everyday, eunha had vocal lessons with her mother ( while her brother had better things to do like play starcraft ) with the help of her mother, eunha was exposed to music at a young age and was able to love it all the way until now.

by the time eunha turned fourteen, her father transferred to a new police station in seoul and that meant the whole entire family had to move with him. everyone was sad and felt as if they were leaving something behind, but eunha thought differently. she could've cared less about moving because as long as she had music by her side, everything was going to be alright! now living in seoul, eunha was given the opportunity to attend a performing arts school. attending the school made eunha develop more as a singer and also a performer. there, she was able to learn how to dance and was given more help with singing by different experts.

TRIVIA :

▸ likes
— taking photos of her outfits of the day. being very amused in the fashion world, eunha always tries to dress her best and she would like to just remember her well put-together outfits.
— helping other trainees train. when eunha looks at the newer trainee's in her company, it reminds her of her days of being a trainee and facing so many difficulties. so, she would like to try her best and help them out. if anything, she's glad enough to do so.
— ice cream. she loves ice cream so much, but her diet is always pushing her back from eating it.
— talking. it's as simple as that.

— high heels. eunha is already tall, so why try and make her taller?
— diets. ever since her trainee days, she despised diets so much.
—being ignored. someone has to be there to listen to this chatterbox, right?
— studying. she was never fond of school. the only reason why eunha found her school somewhat tolerable was because it was a performing arts school, so it satisfied her.

— since she was a former model, sometimes she walks in a perfect formation that looks like something you'd see at a runway. she isn't doing it on purpose, it's just that eunha is so used to it.
— speaking with a busan dialect.
— laughing out waaaay too loud. eunha takes "lol" too seriously and no one can shut her up, not even her.

— writing lyrics and composing her own music.
— still on the writing topic, she enjoys writing stories and drabbles on her free time. it's a great way for her to bring out all of the crazy imagination she has stored in her head.
— playing video games such as ones on her phone, video game consoles and even on her computer. it's all thanks to her older brother, which is why she is like this.

▸ best friend — lee hojung ( 19 ) / model / sweet, caring, helpful / ten out of ten 
hojung looks intimidating as hell. or maybe that's how all models look? eunha and hojung first met at the 2014 seoul fashion week. this was eunha's first time walking the runway and hojung took eunha under her wing and helped her out with the struggles that she faced before the show started. they sparked up a friendship to the point that hojung even helps eunha with her real-life struggles, that doesn't focus on runway.

TRAINEE YEARS : two years

TRAINEE LIFE : being street casted is honestly the creepiest thing, or in eunha's opinion. street casting people for a company contains: finding a young teen, secretly examining them from afar to see if they're worth it, and it then proceeds on to following them until you get their attention. for eunha, she was approached by a worker, from hummingbird entertainment, while she was out eating ramen with a fellow friend of hers. "hello, i'm a street caster from hummingbird entertainment. we would very much appreciate it if you joined our company. please look into it." the worker said as she handed eunha a business card. originally, the worker planned on making eunha the visual of the group by looking at her. little did she know that eunha was actually a performing arts student, so singing and dancing was far from new to her. since eunha has been searching for the right company to join, she decided to join hummingbird entertainment since they were interested in her. joining hummingbird was the right decision because right when she joined, they assigned her to their preparing girl group. if eunha was to join yg entertainment, she would've debuted in twenty years, who knows?

due to eunha's looks and her height, she was assigned to work as a model before her official debut. for the two years that eunha was a trainee, she was able to feature in at least twenty magazines. not only that, but eunha also participated in many catwalks that all took place at seoul fashion week.

the model life sounds all fun, but eunha was actually struggling deep inside. since eunha is known to be a bright girl, she hid her struggles within her, but this made her even most worse than before. when being a model, you must maintain your weight. we all know what the means, hardcore diets. to continue on, eunha was forced to eat certain amounts of food and even took IV injections to make her healthier ( since she was not receiving the right amount of nutrition in her body ) diets that eunha recall doing is - eating meals that only fit within a cup, eating three bananas per. day, and many more that can physically kill a person. eunha was far from happy, but she kept that all to herself.

on top of hardcore diets, eunha trained whenever she wasn't doing photoshoots. she is known to be a determined person, so she won't stop until she has everything done the way she wants it or when she feels satisfied. when it came to learning choreography, eunha would personally ask for the dance teacher to stay later just so they can help her with the dance moves. normally, she wouldn't leave the dance studio until two in the morning. it was a good thing that eunha was already enrolled into a performing arts school because her vocal skills were one of the best out of the other trainees in her company. therefore, her vocal training changed into learning how to compose music and teaching fellow trainees how they can improve their vocal abilities.

you're already an model, why did you want to be an idol? : 

▸ she is taken aback from the sudden question as she wasn't prepared for it. "i've actually always been interested in music." a small awkward chuckle escaped her lips. "ever since my first year of high school, i've been attending a performing arts school. becoming an idol was always my dream, it's just that i was scouted to become a model first. also, why is this a bad thing? a variety of idols are becoming actors and mcs, so why can't a model become a singer?"

is there a concept that you want to try out in the future? : 

▸ "think professionally, eunha." eunha thought to herself. she wanted to say she wanted to try a crazy concept like crayon pop - bar bar bar, but she'll just keep that to herself.  "a y concept!" eunha announced as the whole crowed woo-ed. "i know a lot of fanboys enjoy it when girls do a y concept, so i think doing this would be great fan-service for them."

collabs are getting popular, which artist do you want to collab with?

▸ "hmmm." she taps her chin with her index finger. "i've been trying to produce my own music lately, so i think doing a collab with winner's taehyun or with the soloist dean would be absolutely great. it'd be cool to do a collaboration with them because we'll be able to make our own music, you know?"

what do you want to tell people who are anticipating your debut? : 

▸ looks away from the interviewer as she stares deeply into the camera, as if she is speaking with the viewers through their television screen. "it's a great thing that you're anticipating my debut because me, and my fellow members, have a lot in store for all of you!" a bright smile appears upon her face alongside with a classic eye smile. "please keep up with the support so you can watch my members and i develop as artists. thank you!"
