STYLE — though he's tecnhically a tomboy, taehye loves pastel colors. when you look in her closet its like a pastel heaven. her fashion style might come off as a bit childish though. especially since most of her outfits are actually from animes which is her main problem. she doesn't know the difference between cosplay and everydya fsahion.

Appearance — As soon as you look at Taehye you can tell she's korean. She just looks like your average naturally pretty korean girl. As a kid and still today she never got praised for her looks but she was also never told that she was ugly so in a way it wasn't a bad thing. She has pale skin, a v-line chin, good body proportions, the only part of her that doesn't fit Korean beauty standards is the fact that she doesn't have a double eyelid. Even though it actually appears when she laughs. Taehye has always been jealous of her brother Taehyung's looks. According to her "He looks like our mom so he's pretty but I look like my dad so I look like a man". But it's all in her head because they're both a perfect blend of both of their parents.

  

 

personality —

- clueless - Since she's related to Taehyung, many people expect her to be just as weird and outgoing as he is. But instead of just being straight up weird like that idiot, she's actually just.. kind of slow. For example, if someone tells a joke, she would end up laughing after her brain processes what the joke actually was. Which means she'll laugh when the joke is long over and everyone has already moved on. So she's just there laughing up a storm while people are staring at her thinking what the actual is wrong with this chick. Other than being exremely slow to process jokes, she's just clueless in general. Mostly because half of the time she tunes out when people talk to her for a long time. For example if someone's ranting or lecturing her, she'll listen at first but then completely tune out an go into her own world full of unicorns that poop candy and vomit cute babies. Then when you ask her if she agrees or what she thinks about what you said. She'll usually nod or say a deep quote from an anime. Or if she's on a variety show she'll smile cluelessly and look at her unnies for help.

- pure&childish - Taehye is literally the purest person you'll ever meet. She can't even y dance right to be honest. The only time she ever saw something dirty was when she looked through taehyung's computer and found a video, she didn't watch the whole thing because when the girl took off her shirt she screamed and slammed his laptop shut. Because of that he got his laptop taken away for 3 weeks. Also because of that she only sticks to watching animes and cartoons. But besides that she's actually a little kid at heart. Whenever the members do something bad she'll run and tell the leader or their manager. Oh yeah and never tell this girl a secret because once she knows everyone will know in less than 45 minutes. She doesn't mean to do that but she just csually brings it up in conversations she has with people. Then after she said it she'll facepalm herself for saying it. 

- emotional - She is one person who does not take criticism well. She takes everything everyone says to heart even if its a joke. Which is terrible, especially in this business where netizens are always saying harsh comments. But literally everytime Spice wins an award she's sobbing. Sad or happy, she cries for everything. The leaves turn from green to yellow, she cries. She sees a cute dog, she cries and for some reason she never runs out of tears. 

- adventurous - For some reason Taehye always has a lot of energy. It might be the cup of chocolate milk she drinks in the morning and before she sleeps but she always wants to go run around somewhere. Thats also one reason why she doesn't mind practicing for a long time, especially when it comes to dancing. Theres never a lazy day for her, if theres nothing to do she goes to the dance studio and dances for hours. If their outside filming an MV she'll probably she running around getting herself all sweaty and making the staff mad because they have to redo her hair and make up.

- pure - Taehye is probably the purest person you'll ever meet. Even seeing people kiss make her cringe so much that she covers her eyes. The only time she say something dirty was when she went on Taehyungs computer and accidentally opened a video that was saved on the desktop. She didn't watch the whole thing because she screamed and slammed the laptop shut when the girl took off her shirt. But that's the only time she saw something close to dirty.

- blunt - Ever since Taehye was a little girl her parents and even Taehyung always scolded her for saying what's on her mind. But apparently those scoldings didn't do much because she's still the same way today. For example, she would go up to a random person on the street and say things like "you have a booger in your nose" or "why are your eyes so far apart?" Its like she doesn't know what to say and what not to say. This is especially bad during variety shows and interviews because if an interviewer asks her about any embarrassing moments of the members or any secrets, she'll gladly say anything she can think of. It takes one of the members to scream at her for her to stop.

- sweet&helpful - Even though she's basically a 4 year old. Taehye is actually a little sweetheart. She loves helping people and usually puts others before herself. If she sees a homeless person in the street she'll guy them food and water. If she sees one of those sad abused animals commercials, she'll ask Spice's manager if she can adopt them. Then he'll say no and she'll cry, blah blah, but she'll  still call the number to see how much they are.

• cheese, she cant have dairy but she prefers regular cheese and milk instead of lactose cheese and milk

• anime, obviously whO doesnt like anime!! !

• aliens, she thinks its fascinating that here is another form of life on another planet & those who don't believe will someday get their brains out with straws

• kyary pamyu pamyu, she's one of the reasons Taehye learned japanese and she thinks shes an inspiration

• crying in the rain, call her crazy but she loves doing this, it makes her feel less lonely like the clouds are crying with her

 

dislikes —

• the dark, she feels like a ghost or a monster will eat her

• ghosts, yES THEY ARE REAL !!! !!11!!

• quiet places, she'll literally walk into a quiet room and scream then looks around cluelessly

• female cows, "ok I love animals, but they're just weird. They have four private parts just like the boy cows... nasty.."

• clowns, she hated them ever since she was little

• thunder, they scare her and make her cry. especially if they're at night while everyones asleep. she would crawl into another members bed and cuddle with them

 

HOBBIES — 
•pool, during their trainee days bangtan used to go play pool together and taehye would always tag along and play with them so she's good at it harhar 
• drawing&painting, shes just naturally amazing at it. yes be jealous• reading, she loves reading manga and about topics that interest her
• choreographing dances
• skiing, whenever her family went on vacation together, they would always go skiing. even though she can't do it now she would love to with all the members

 

HABITS —
• tilting her head and furrowing her eyebrows when she's confused

funfacts —
• she's a vegan and lactose intolerant, if she eats or drinks dairy she'll have bad stomach cramps and burp a lot

• the only scary movie she ever watched was the conjuring and it made her cry

• this girl is a complete otaku, she has anime pillows, a collection of mangas, posters all over her room, etc

background — Kim Tae Hye was a complete accident. With her birthday being 7 months after her dads, yes she was a birthday baby and yes she was born early. Which was actually even better for her mom because she could get to work sooner. Both Taehye's parents are doctors and were barely home. So not even a week after she was born, Taehye was being taken care of by nannys. Her nanny was very carefree and barely paid Taehye any attention, it was mosty Taehyung who would hold her and talk to her when she was in the crib. He would show her all his toy cars and dinosaurs and make Taehye laugh with silly faces. Occasionally he would even be the one to feed her and rock her to sleep, sometimes Taehye slept with him in his car shaped bed. They were so close that Taehye would cry whenever he went to school and Taehyung didn't want to leave her. 

As a child Taehye was very different from the other girls, since Taehyung picked out her clothes most of the time it never matched and she would always be with the boys instead. She would rather play in mud then play family and she got made fun of because of that. Kids in her class called her a boy and laughed at her clothes. Taehyung even got in trouble for beating up a kid in her class and their parents had to go to the school which apparently was a "waste of their time". So they thought the best way to not have to deal with it again was to homeschool Taehye. That way no one would get beat up and Taehyung wouldn't have to dress her anymore.

But of course even her mom saw that she was kind of tomboyish which for some reason she didn't like. So she put her in ballet classes ever since she was 6. She hated it at first and cried everytime she had to go. What Taehye really wanted to do was play soccer like Taehyung and sooner or later she was doing the same. As long as she went to ballet, Taehye could do all the sports she wanted to. But because of being homeschooled, Taehye never really had friends. The only friends she had was Taehyung friends which were boys and they were always older than her. So she always followed her brother and her friends around which they didn't mind and this continued all the way until middle school when their family went on a vacation to Seoul. Taehyung got scouted by Bighit Entertainment and that summer he was an actual trainee which was surprising because she didn't even know her brother had talent. But Taehye didn't know what to do without her brother so she decided to audition too. This was the only time she actually thanked her mom for making her take all those ballet classes because by the end 2010, she was a Bighit trainee too.

 

family — 

▪ Kim Hana | Mother | They barely talk, even today. She was neglected by her mom by a child so she never depended on her for anything. Taehye doesn't mind it either, she grew up this way so it isn't sad to her or anything. But her mom does call her like once a year to ask if she's still alive. But thats about it

▪ Kim Tae Min | Father | Taehye talks to her dad more than her mom, because he actually made an effort to be with her whenever he could. Even though he would mosty just buy her whatever she wanted to keep her happy. But thats basically what she goes to him for. If she needs something she'll ask her dad and itll be shipped in 24 hours.

▪ Kim Tae Hyung | Older Brother | He's literally her best friend, she tells him everything. Even the girly things that he doesn't want to hear. But he's really protective over her and would hurt anyone that hurts his sister. They don't see each other often since she's in a different company now but they always FaceTime and whenever she sees him she jumps on his back.

▪ S.Coups | bEST BUDDEH | they were neighbors and friends when they were younger. S.coups always makes fun of her because she's clueless af and he thinks it funny/cute. You can say he kind of has a crush on her but she doesn't notice of course. But Taehyung knows and he's forever waiting for them to date. 

 

  

▪ Jhope | funny oPPa | when taehye first met jhope she thought he was weird because his dialect is different from hers and hes really loud. but overtime she started to think he was really funny. No matter where they are, when she sees him she shoots at him with a finger gun and he falls on the floor.

 

  

▪ Woozi | angry oppA | if she wants to talk seriously to someone about something she doesnt wsnt her brother to know, she'll tell woozi. Even though she'll probably tell her brother later. For some reason she got close to him easily even thought they're opposites. She likes how he's calm and easy to talk to. She always tells him jokes that she dies laughing at and he just stares at her and calls her an idiot. Then she hits his arm which he hates but she does it all the time and mostly to him. Its surprising that he didnt get used to it yet.

 

  

▪ Jimin | byuNtAE | When they first met, Jimin was flirty and weird to her and she hated it. She called him a ert and was scared to be near him. Even Taehyung had to tell him to stop constantly. But after a while he did and she realized how cool he is. He goes along with basically whatever Taehye does. If she runs around, he'll chase her. If she screams he'll try to scream louder. He still flirts with her endlessly but she doesn't even notice anymore.

STage name — Katie 

Trainee Life — when Taehye was a trainee at Bighit, she got bullied for her fashion sense and because she couldn't sing well. she never sang a note in her life before and got in for dancing so she didn't expect to have to sing as well. Even at school, which she once again had to attend, people would make fun of her. So even during her training years she stuck with her brother and bangtan, even s.coups and seventeen. Its like she just wasn't meant to have girl friends. So she just focused on becoming a better singer and working hard so she could debut, she left studies as a secondary thing. But the only group bighit focused on was bangtan, they never even put together a girl group. It was just a whole bunch of trainees there waiting to be put into a group that wasn't going to be made. So one day she was getting bubble tea and got scouted by an AOMG staff member, she wasn't sure about leaving bighit but even the company told her they wouldnt have a place for her for a while. So from 2013 till now she's been training with AOMG. The trainees were more open there for some reason, even though some made negative comments about her some people actually accepted her. Which were the members of Spice and she's happy to be in a group with them today and can't wait to debut.

relationship  — Yoongi and Taehye have known each other since they were trainees at bighit. They saw each other everyday especially since he's in the same group as Taehyung. They didn't click instantly though, they actually barely talked for the first year they've known each other. But one time he saw Taehye in the street by herself, surprisingly, looking around cluelessly like she was completely lost. So he went up to her because he's a good person and apparently she was trying to find her way back to Bighit. The same place he was going obviously. So they walked back together and actually talked a lot. It was mostly her talking about anime and how hard training was. But Yoongi thought her cute childish ways was adorable. He felt like he had to protect her for some reason and he did. Ever since then he would be the substitute for Taehyung whenever he wasn't there. 

Together these two make a cute bunch. She's always giving Yoongi energy when he's tired which is most of the time. She would jump around all over the place and he would just sit there watching her be an idiot. Whenever he wrote raps she would try to help, like rhyming rice with nice and putting yo after everything. Even though people don't understand what they say to each other half the time since whenever they talk it's mostly in daegu satoori. But you can tell that they're in love with each other. The way Yoongi gets dragged by her and goes along with everything she does. The way he gives her piggyback rides whenever she asks, which Taehyung hates because apparently only he's supposed to give her piggyback rides. The way he lays his head on her lap or her shoulder when he wants to sleep and how she always wakes him up because she moves too much. Whenever they're together it just screams couple. But Taehyung doesn't ship. He still ships her with s.coups and believes itll happen someday.
