APPEARANCE — as an asian-american, there is no doubt that she is actually good looking in visual aspect. she is tall and has creamy white yet smooth skin that is inherited from her parents. but actually, it's her father's gene that she mostly inherits. her hair was originally light brown and semi-curly, but it becomes wavier when she grew up as a young girl. she doesn't wear much jewelry unless needed, instead she wears a single line bracelet, unique necklaces and sometimes chokers. she is also aesthetic when it comes to fashion, as listed on the pictures below for visualization of her fashion styles. lastly, she has a wound mark on her right elbow after tripping on the street over four years ago.

# the good side ; to start off with her good side, we can get to know how ambitious she is over something she really wants. say, she dreams about being an idol; then there is no way to stop her from being one. she achieves what she dreams of. she is also very humble to others, believing the term of "give to receive", so that she can be treated the same way. she might appear arrogant and unapproachable, but she's actually more than that. she is very warm once you have the guts to approach her, she'll return your kindness. this also makes her an appreciative individual which she will always try to appreciate people no matter how screwed up they've been, although of course she has her limits for this, too. she is perfectionist and she knows exactly what she expects. last but not least, the girl has loads of imagines in her head making her quite a creative person; she believes through her imagines, she can vision what kind of expectation she's visualizing for a specific something.

# the bad side ; even the moon has a dark shade...well, how to say this. she is a little bit impatient. okay, not a little bit, perhaps more than that. she doesn't like the idea of waiting for too long no matter what it is. unless she have the adventages of waiting, she won't want to waste her time to wait. reading back up to her imaginative trait, it's not weird how she will also dream of the perfect boyfriend with the perfect relationship since she honestly has never been in a relationship before (although, she has puppy crushes before). therefore, she is a hopeless romantic. moving on, eleanor is also possessive over the things that belong to her even her phone; don't try to get what is hers if you don't want her to pay your doing with something hurtful (she might come over at you and directly ask about it, or indirectly talk about you right behind your back). that being said, she is a little thoughtless when anger takes her over. but surprisingly, she is a sensitive at heart. once she can't take it anymore, she might as well cry, it mostly occurs when people aren't around but there are also times when she does that in public when she can't handle it. she has sensitive spots for things about her race due to an experience of being bullied just because she's a mixed race and other things about her talent insecurities.

 BACKGROUND 

# when i was just a little girl ; eleanor eunsol carter or park eunsol was to an american-irish father and a korean mother in new york, usa two years after her older brother. since she was a kid, her parents always shove her different kind of songs for her to listen and dance to, as well as a few musical instruments to play. they also did the same thing to her brother, thus making both siblings grew up having high interests toward music. she didn't get straight a's on academics, but did great on musical practices and tests - which her parents didn't seem to matter. growing up, she started to like rap musics and was somehow good at doing raps along with the song. so when her brother is more interested with singing and playing musical instruments, she is more into rapping although she could also play drum. her cousin, vernon, had also shown his interest toward music at the same time so the three of them often gather to talk about it and practice sometimes after she moved into korea.

# i asked my mother, what will i be ; when her cousin entered pledis, eleanor was interested to join an entertainment to pursue her dream too: to be popular. she wanted to be a star where she didn't have to keep her talent to herself. later on, she officially joined pledis entertainment following vernon but left the company five months later because of her excitement over music badly affected her grades that she nearly got dropped out from school. under the demand from her father, she left the company with a heavy heart. her father promised to let her back in if she did well at school, and so she struggled to get herself back together in her academics.

# will i be pretty, will i be rich, here's what she says to me ; at the age of 15, she heard starship entertainment has opened an audition. since she was still a bit embarrassed about leaving pledis because of her academic issues, she decided to just join starship instead. her father allowed her to audition since she had become the second rank at school recently which was good, but with one condition: never repeat the same mistake. at that time, starship was amazed by the rapping skill she showed them during the audition and accepted her in. her family were happy and told her to do well in the company.

# whatever will be, will be ; just like vernon, she was scared that people might not gonna befriend her for being mixed race, but it turned out she didn't have to struggle as a trainee alone when a senior trainee, lim changkyun approached her awkwardly while speaking in english "can you speak korean?". she had to admit that his english is good. it turned out he used to live in boston before. quickly, the two became friends and not too long after that, more fellow trainees befriended her namely shownu who taught her to dance on a trainee's night. sistar's bora also approached her one day during the "amen" training session when she was asked to check on the trainees and encourages them, soon bora became her personal mentor. when she was told that she would be one of the potential trainees for starship's new girlgroup after wjsn, she was excited. but her excitement didn't last long when she knew that the training and selection proccess would be broadcasted in a survival show.

 FAMILY 

# father. matthew carter. 48. businessman and actor. fc: matthew douma aka somi's papa ; eleanor and her father have this sweet father-daughter relationship. although they aren't very close due to matthew being busy with his job as a ceo for korea's adidas company, matthew always want to know how is she feeling every single day and ask her about her days once he came home or through phone if necessary. although he's a little busy, he always spare some time to accompany her along with her brother when starship was holding events with her being involved. her father has appeared in descendants of the sun as a cameo before.

# mother. park eunjung. 46. vocal coach at a high school. fc: gong hyojin ; she and her mother are a dorky duo. her mother has a dorky side and eleanor seems to enjoy it with being the dorky person that she's been hiding from public when she's with her mother. she loves her mother very much, although she can't always accompany her like her father, she is very supportive of eleanor. eunjung is always the very first person she tells about her problems.

# older brother. eric wonsol carter / park wonsol. 22. youtuber. fc: jacob whitesides ; say hey to eleanor's hot older brother, eric. he is one of the well-known youtubers who does challenge videos, song covers and vlogs sometimes (youtube.com/ericarter94). he is very close to eleanor and always offer his shoulder when she wants to cry, he also listens to her quite well and gives her the solutions. now let that sweet side aside, eric also bicker a lot with her and nag at each other over small things – her crushes, boys that get close to her, tv, wifi connections, songs, movies and bathroom. it's ridiculous, but that's just the way they roll.

# younger cousin. hansol vernon chwe / choi hansol. 18. idol (seventeen) ; so how these two become related? apparently, his mother is matthew's younger sister. eleanor and vernon are pretty close because they've been hanging out a lot since they were young, they talk about their interest and play together often. since they are both skilled in rapping, they often playfully mock each other while rapping. vernon doesn't talk a lot in public, but with eleanor he might wrote a letter. he often sides her when she bickers with her brother and supports her a lot for her competition in "amen".

 FRIENDS 

# best friends. lim changkyun / i.m. 20. idol (monstax) ; changkyun was the first person to approach her during her life in starship. since he speaks good english, he helps her translating into the korean words she doesn't know sometimes. since changkyun is a "crazy" person once you get to know him better, she became crazy only with him since she can relate to him. she also sometimes hang out with jooheon because of him. changkyun likes to spam her line before bed with approximately 25 messages saying "good night" "hey poop nite" "will you dream of me?" "im recording my voice singing for your lullaby" and etc, resulting to her nagging at him the next morning.

# panda oppa. hong jisoo / joshua hong. 20, 21 this year. idol (seventeen) ; jisoo is vernon's close friend since he can also speak english due to living in america. when she was a trainee in pledis, vernon introduced her to jisoo and the three became great friends, they speak english to one another sometimes. eleanor respects jisoo and he cares for her like a brother, not wanting her to feel outcasted by other trainees who doesn't befriend her. upon hearing her departure from pledis, he was a little bit sad. but after hearing that she's going to compete in "amen", he supports her a lot and sometimes come with vernon and her brother to support her.

# my brother's girlfriend. oh jinhee. 21. vlogger. fc: kim jayoung ; eric met jinhee at a youth event at his church, she recognized him as the youtuber whose channel she subscribed to and immediately approached him claiming that she's a fan. they soon became good friends and there was no doubt that eric liked the person that she is, so he dated her later. that's how jinhee became friends with her, too. jinhee loves her so much like her own sister and often ask her to tag along with her and eric to watch movies - which is to his displease because he wants to cuddle with jinhee sometimes.

# fellow trainee friend. song mayuna. 17. trainee (starship). fc is unknown ; mayuna or usually called yuna is that korean-japanese trainee who stumbled upon eleanor on one day when they were walking pass by. unfortunately yuna isn't chosen for the potential lineup of starship's new girlgroup since yuna have only joined for a few months, but she feels really happy for eleanor. eleanor sees yuna like her younger sister and often tags her in her society circle.

 OTHERS 

# hottie sunbae. son hyunwoo / shownu. 23, 24 this year. idol (monstax) ; after becoming friends with changkyun, somehow she stumbled upon hyunwoo and as weird as it sounds, she sets her eyes on him for his good looks and body tone. after seeing him practising singing and dancing, she fell in love more with his charms. hyunwoo was a little selective and cautious at first. thank god he opened up toward her eventually, and occasionally hung out with her, changkyun and jooheon who are also her friends. on one trainee night, jooheon asked him to teach her some cool dance moves and he did it. she idolizes hyunwoo and would like to duet with him someday.

# aegyo guru. lee jooheon. 21, 22 this year. idol (monstax) ; they didn't hang out until changkyun introduced her to jooheon one day and they started off a little awkward. after talking about rapping and trainee life, they began to relate one another and jokes began slipping into their conversations. jooheon is impressed that she can imitate his aegyo voice quite well. he often ends up putting her and changkyun into a multichat and spammed them with aegyo stickers and random words.

# personal mentor. yoon bora. 26. idol (sistar) ; when bora was assigned to check on the trainees who were discussing over "amen", she met eleanor who looked quite awkward yet it make her look cute. she asked if she was ready for everything and the likes. to her, eleanor is that cute awkward-y newbie who she feels like making friends with, explains why she often comes up to her group training room to check even if not asked and give helpful advices. not that close, but is considered close.

 THE WEAPON 

DESIRED STAGE NAME — lea ; her birth name because she doesn't think she needs another name after all the aliases (eleanor carter, park eunsol, eleanor park, eleanor eunsol carter and etc) although vernon has initially suggested a stage name for her, that is "venus".
FANCLUB NAME — venus ; she rejected vernon's suggestion for her stage name, but instead his suggestion is used for her fanclub name because she loves it.
TRAINING DURATION — five months (pledis ent); four years and six months (starship ent)
TRAINEE LIFE — as a trainee with mixed race, she was a bit insecure that she'll have a hard time with training and socializing. but she was wrong when a trainee approached her and made friends with her which resulted to many fellow trainees begun to befriend her. the rap coach seems to have fun coaching her, so she thought she might have a good time in starship ent. it was until she hear some trainees are discriminating her behind her back for being a mixed race, good thing that there are other people in the company who also tolerate her and befriend her. so it's safe to say that she is a little bit more comfortable than she thought she'll feel.

# being good is good ; similar like eleanor herself, wonho is very passionate when it comes to his works. being an idol who sing and dance has been his passion, he will pour his whole heart into working before slacking off and have fun. so unless you know how to get him away from his work sometimes, don't bother him. he also has confident to no end about himself and his looks, he loves himself and the person he has become now. this will often lead to his self-centered trait that will be explained later on. he is a child in a well-built body; despite having charisma, he can get way too excited over something like a child. he is very playful and it can be considered in a good way because he knows how to have fun. thus making him an easy going person who is actually approachable. he might be picky but he'd love to make friends and socialize.

# being bad isn't bad, sometimes ; so to start off, wonho is also stubborn especially when it comes to disagreements. his confidence has also lead him into a person who believes that he has determination and is right. it's bad that you have to deal with it with extra patience if you don't want him to explode because he is short tempered and gets upset easily. treat him carefully and you're good to go; screw up and he's going to be uninterested. he has good sense of humor, but it sometimes became sarcastic more than crazy or dorky. he points out his sarcasm over something he feels bothered of with a joke, or simply tell a joke with sarcasm without thinking twice. that being said, he's self-centered. he thinks high of himself and how good he appears to be which sometimes might upset the others; he wants to be the center of attention. he also put his heart into his works for the sake of his achievements, will that be considered self-centered?

 LOVE STORY 

eleanor first saw him at the coffee shop near starship where he was seen hanging out with his friends, he noticed her too for being different than any other girls she brought with her: being a mixed race. her first impression of him was that he is probably a typical bad boy who flirt with girls and end up ditching them so she decided not to go further, one last glance and she didn't look at him anymore. meanwhile it was different for wonho. his first impression of her was that she is different from other girls and intriguing, the moment she ignored him made him feel challenged. he stole glances, but not in an obvious way because of the pride inside of him. that was the first impressions from both of them.

the second time they met was during a trainee night where he saw her being taught about some cool dance moves. he eventually joined and taught her too, laughing with her when she did a mistake - that was an unofficial first interaction but they were being slowly pulled to one another without they knew it. before the trainee night was officially put to an end, wonho have talked a bit to her and there were smiles thrown at one another here and there. next, they met when wonho was practising his dance at the general training room with bare chest which was to her surprise and blush. he isn't less hotte than shownu. he quickly put on a shirt and approached her, asking what's up and if she wanted to use the room, but both ended up talking for a few hours in the room and exchanged contacts.

they became closer when wonho was casted into no.mercy; she texted him first telling about her supportive messages for him. he responded nicely and the conversation had no end until he finally got busy with no.mercy and all those training sessions. she appeared on the final episode of the show as an audience to support him, and was excited upon knowing that he succeeded. it was time for her to compete in "amen" this time, and he did the same thing in return; even more because he was always there to watch her when there is no schedule. he likes her just as much as (or more) she likes him, but both weren't sure about their feelings yet, they were very close even until now yet only other people see how match they're.

he initially never texted her good night before bed, but now he always did with a cute sticker or emojis. he always greeted her "morning, eveing, night" etc first from now. he also listened to her very well when she talked to him; showing how interested he's been all these times to her and her talks. he treated her like his one and only, and he didn't want to disappoint her. maybe it's only a matter of time until they finally unite, who knows.
