Writing stories probs!!!!

Wassup everyone! It's my very first time writing about a blog here on aff. I just want to let something out in my chest that's why I decided to write it. It's not something deep so here it goes.

I really have a problem writing stories. I mean yeah I have a lot of ideas but damn they're going all to waste since I'm not consistent like why can't I be consistent in writing just like all other authors here on aff?? That is what's always been bothering me since FOREVER. When you actually have a nice storyline in your pretty little head but it just stays there. Stuck in there as always. I have written a lot of stories and always ends up with 2-3 chaps then I'll leave it like that! Like what the fck is wrong with me! Why can't write consistently and dedicate myself into it??? I mean I love reading fanfics here on aff as much as I love writing and having ideas. But I just can't with the writing and it's frustrating the hell out of me.

It's my vacation right now and it's a pretty long one so maybe I'll really give my new idea a shot and be REALLY dedicated to it. So if anyone have read this please drop a comment and give me sum advice. I really need it.

So basically im gonna halt every story I have created and put it to draft status since i dont have a heart to delete it.

Write oneshots instead. I know it may sound like stupid advice, but really. Write a story, start and finish it at the same time and be proud that you finished a story. Keep that up until your stories start being more and more put together. The feeling of the neverending start-give up cycle is dreadful and horrible and sometimes it's better just to say "ok, i did it, i actually finished a story" - and it may not be 50 chapters but a oneshot is a story too. Or a twoshot. When you're there, you will have gained some confidence in the whole starting-and-completing a story.
Writing long, chaptered stories are hard. Trust me, I still struggle with my chaptered stories once in a while (and I regret some of them too but oh well) but then I make a oneshot or two and says to myself "you can write stories, so it's not all lost".

I have the same problem at you :( . Like i have six stories and all of them didn't reach the 3rd chapter :\ . But i every time i came to write something i make sure to clear my head and do everything i should do so i will not get up . Also you did great by not deleting your stories . I once deleted one of my stories and i regreted immediately ( even though my stories isn't good XD )
