PERSONALITY 　haeun is a courageous woman and gives off a bold first meeting. she's not afraid of getting hurt and puts up brave facade in most situations. she is also faithful in most things; she holds her promises and is devoted to her career. haeun also likes to be thorough with what she does and she plans her future out very carefully, which is great since she always gets her long term goals completed. with goals in mind, haeun is very realistic and knows when to stop with expectations and promises. 

haeun focusses more about her surroundings and the people around her rather than herself, as she cares more about them. whenever fights and disagreements occure, haeun wouldn't side and would rather stay neutral to avoid separations between the group. haeun is undemanding for what she gets and whats she doesn't. she relly doesn't care if she gets nothing from her fans because if her fans show support, haeun will accept that as a gift. also, haeun is placid and does not get easily excited or upset. this fits in with her undemanding and neutral traits as she is not that emotional and lets her emotions override her.

many of her fans noticed that haeun looks not as bright around the other members and when she's by herself too. haeun feels repressed around the members of girls' generation as she wants the other members to have their time on the screen but when she's by herself, haeun holds back too much. the reason why fans noticed is because haeun's emotions and expressions are obvious to see and it's not easy for her to hide it, especially if haeun doesn't want to offend people. she's also incurious, the members often having to drag her to motivate her or to get her excited. this trait also ties in with her placid trait. haeun's last negative trait is that she is too self-critical of herself. she often uses this as motivation to keep going but she often only sees the negative of herself.

BACKGROUND 　haeun is an only child and she was born to two wealthy and loving parents. her parents worked as business men and women, living in the apartments that were made for two, they never really complained and just kept it as it is. haeun spent most of her childhood indoors, not curious at what other kids her age were doing. because of this, haeun was brought along to a gathering where she met her best friend, goo jinhwan. he was only a two years older than her.  in school, she did her best so that her parents would be proud of her. haeun only had a few friends and didn't go out to many social gatherings as much as she liked. since most of her friends also focussed on studying, they usually go out as friends to the park and just read books together. when haeun's not studying, or with her parents and friends, haeun would be over at jinhwan's house. haeun discovered her passion of singing and auditioned after her grandparents were sick of listening to haeun's singing, which could've been put to better use than bursting out old people's eardrums. haeun auditioned at daybreak entertainment at the age of fourteen and had been accepted.

haeun worked really hard to keep with the standards of being a trainee, going under a diet and training in things that she didn't think that she needed to work on. haeun's vocal coach discovered that haeun could also rap and made her focus on that too alongside vocals. because of her training, haeun stayed up late and studied because her afternoons were preoccupied with her trainee life. this made her develop her love of sleeping, as she used that as her goal when she was studying at night.  during her first year of highschool, haeun discovered that she had attractions to her best friend jinhwan but she didn't want to ruin their relationship. so when jinhwan told her at the end of the year that he was most likely not going to see her as much as he was going to unversity straight after he graduates to study law, haeun confessed to him and jinhwan accepted, as he had the same feeling as hers for years. two years later, haeun's hard work paid off as she debut in girls' generation. however, due to the dating ban, her relationship with jinhwan was brought back down to being friends once more. during her time as an idol, performing and meeting new people, her personality morphed into something that was bold and not as studious as before.

LIFESTYLE 　haeun still lives with the girls' generation members. it gives her many benefits such as living with her non-related sisters, having free food given to you, having your manager and other members as an alarm clock and a free drive over to places for her schedule. she regularly spends her mornings in the recording studio or in the dorm's living at the crack of dawn to work on her solo album or any other projects. haeun usually has dates with jinhwan, her boyfriend, every week in either yeongdungpo, sinchon, daehango and myeongdong. when haeun has schedules, sometimes jinhwan would come and watch her from backstage and if it's late at night, with the permission of her manager, he would pick her up and let her sleep over at his place.

♕ she has been planning her solo album since late 2013 but started to officially produce songs in 2014. she has been working personally with im saebyeok and im hwanghon along with eungi to create a hell of a masterpiece. it hasn't been working out at the beginning as haeun didn't know which style she had wanted to perform. mid 2014, haeun decided to make her album a more y vibe after letting park haewon have a say in what would suit haeun. in 2015, she had finished most of her songs and polished them, working on harmonies that were needed and some lyric changes. by 2016, haeun's album was ready but postponed it so she could be with girls' generation's 3rd japanese comeback instead.

head choreographer of daybreak    amiable, playful, impatient  

 to be honest, haeun isn't the best with dancing and had to stay behind to practice choreographs with hyoyeon. the choreographer took a liking for haeun due to haeun's determination and secretly makes the choreographs hard so haeun has to develop her skills in dancing. however, she is still the worst dancer in girls' generation so hyoyeon does spend time sharpening haeun's skills than the other members. 
 

    

sisters forever #1 — geum sumin ( 22 )  
main vocalist of gg  

cute little gumdrop, geum sumin. haeun uses this nickname for sumin as an endearing way and greets her like this too. on social media, whenever she takes a photo with sumin, haeun always posts the word gumdrop somewhere in the little messages or hashtags. haeun always seems to be paried with her whenever it comes to a duet because apparently their voices match very well. taeny. though they never complain.

known as the 'same aged lead vocalists of gg' the two 25 year olds are pretty tight. haeun often asks eungi for advice since she is the most level headed of the group apart from the leader. haeun and eungi usually work together and haeun usually shares her secret plans with eungi too. when haeun does fanservice or talks to the camera in an aegyo voice, eungi will be quick to be there and playfully tease haeun and uses the excuse of being older...by just a couple of months.

it's no secret that haeun used to dote on seoyeon during their debut period because she did so much for the group just by being the main vocalist and the lead dancer whilst being 14 at the time. haeun cuddles and poke seoyeon's cheeks when they are next to each other, which is why seoyeon playfully avoids haeun. she's one of the only members to refuse calling seoyeon 'selena' because haeun finds seoyeon more cuter. haeun also helped seoyeon with her school work because she didn't want her to fail school. but then seoyeon would have to remind haeun that she was in the middle of highschool too.

false   ::   haeun had lost so much weight, 11 kilograms to be exact, for her run devil run comeback because she used to be hated for her chubby appearance. this time haeun was hated by the netizens because her face had lost lots of fat and became slimmer, making people believe that she had plastic surgery. a few months later, haeun gained more weight and her face looked much more healthier, proving netizens wrong.

false   ::   technically, haeun did end her three year contract with daybreak to get a more longer 5 year contract instead. the public misunderstood this and thought that haeun terminated her contract and left the group.

♕ rap monster  ::  he once said on a broadcast that his type of woman was tall, brave, faithful and someone like a senior. fans were quick to speculate that it was haeun and rap monster soon confirmed this. 

♕ c.a.p  ::  they're both the same age and met through a broadcast show. they easily befriended each other but even before they met, c.a.p was a big fan of her and stated that she was his ideal type.

♕ lee taeyong  ::  frankly, the only rookie that stated that haeun was his ideal type, he thinks that haeun-noona is a cool type of woman to date and that he'd like to meet her. they met on the night of his debut stage, where haeun was there watching and she congratulated him which caused him to be teased by s. 

♕ wu zhaohui  ::  they maybe from the same company but haeun and zhaohui rarely ever speak. he's been a fan of girls' generation for years and his bias was haeun. when he debut as a model and revealed that his bias was haeun, the fans couldn't help but ship them together, though only in a sunbaenim way because haeun already had a boyfriend at the time that he revealed he liked haeun most.

♕ yoo jaesuk, haha, gary, lee kwangsoo  ::  these running man regulars are just a few of those older fanboys out there. since haeun is part of girls generation, has a great body and is also known for her intellect, it makes her quite the eyecandy and the ultimate preference for a type.

♕ oh my girl  ::  these girls are big fans of girls generation and look up to each of the members with respect and inspiration.

♕ kim sunggyu  ::  when haeun was co-mcing on weekly idol, infinite was one of the guests and sunggyu was ratted out by donnie and connie about his crush on haeun and they because haeun was already dating. so eventually, by the end of the episode, all of infinite and the mcs, minus haeun, were teasing him whenever he looked at haeun and was blushing red.

“GIRLS' GENERATION HAS BEEN IN THE INDSUTRY FOR THE PAST 6 YEARS. WHAT WAS THE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT FOR YOU?” 

♕ my mind tell's me it should be our 'gee' comeback but i personally think it's our japanese and international debut that really hit me in my heart. haeun simply nods her head at her own response seeing that we had support where ever we went and that our fans are our backbones, it is the most memorable to say the least. 

“WHO ARE THE JUNIOR GROUPS YOU ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO? DO YOU HAVE ANY SPECIFIC REASON AS TO WHY YOU ARE KEEPING YOUR EYE ON THEM?” 

♕ the first group that comes to mind is knk! ah, so tall and handsome! they're all visuals, have great vocals, great rapping and did i mention great visuals? haeun laughs with a small grin they have lots of potential! also april, because they're so adorable, and seventeen too? 

“YOU HAVE BEEN STATED TO BE THE IDEAL TYPE OF NCT U'S LEE TAEYONG, INFINITE'S KIM SUNGGYU, TEEN TOP'S BANG MINSOO AND BTS'S KIM NAMJOON. ARE YOU HAPPY TO HEAR THIS?" 

♕ haeun gives a hearty laugh as she covers  that's so sweet of them! though i hope my boyfriend doesn't mind! i've met all of them and i'm surprised that they think of me as an ideal type, it's so surpising!
