▸ POTATO KONG — Will hurt someone if they dare to call her this. It's a name granted by Sunggyu after he saw her food videos. (The one where she stuffed with, like, five potatoes. He couldn't stop laughing and paused the video right where she had them all in and looked like she was possessed.) Any time Sunggyu calls her this, she kicks him in the shin.

Which, makes sense, seeing that many overseas Chinese speak Wu instead of the more common languages. Her company has since urged her to begin learning. It's taken some time for her to be where she is, seeing that she had to find a teacher (which is vastly hard) and then understand the different Wu dialects and the differences between Mandarin, and Wu. Overall, she can have simple conversations; and, sparsely uses it in her videos to which she has received feedback (kind feeback) about her horrid accent but correct grammar.

▸ Shim has a very unique look to herself. A round face, with eyes shaped likes what she likes to call "cat-eyes" (thin and almost slanted in the corners), thin lips, and a cute button nose. She stands out easily with her caramel colored shoulder length hair that she wears in any style. Though, she enjoys wearing it in a low hung ponytail, or a bun. She has a huge issue with her height so she puts 4-inch insoles in her shoes. (She trips a lot because of it). She also has a huge issue with the size of her s, so she stuffs paper in bra (nearly all the time).
▸ As for her style, it widely varies. On some days she'll wear her knitted tops, and jeans or she'll go crazy by wearing her favorite blue (fake) fur coat (making her look like the cookie monster) paired with leather pants and a rolling stones t-shirt underneath. She wears bucket hats as much as possible, and wears fairy wings when inside her apartment (especially when she's filming). Her style isn't really professional, so she has to buy peter pan collared dresses and black flats, every once in awhile so she can look dolled-up when going to her company.

PERSONALITY : How can I explain this child? She's a bit, crazy? Weird? Extremely over the top! This child, has always been weird. Since before anyone can remember, Shim is the type of girl who's always been one for the theatrics. When in high school, if she was caught sleeping in class, she'd suddenly wake-up, flip her hair over her shoulder, and fall to the floor elegantly. Blaming the sleeping on her uselessness of being lazy. If she locked her keys in the car, she'd be the type of girl who'd bang on the window, cry, and fall to the ground while holding the handle instead of calling triple A or something that would actually be helpful in that situation. When she began live-streaming while eating food, she'd be over the top in her actions of eating. Shoving piles of food in , laughing eccentrically, and '' in pleasure at the taste. Her flare for the dramatics, has made her quite the social person. She's the approachable person, with her kind aura and friendly manners. People like to say that she has a warm personality, like a mother or a grandmother. She likes to be the one who approaches other, and starts conversations. Because of that, she doesn't really know when people don't want to talk, or find it being awkward. Which can make her come off as unsual. Though, people tend to think that that's a positive side of her.

Many people think she's avant-garde in the way she's always experimenting with things. Being her childish self, leads her to coming up with funny ideas and things to do. Whether it's trekking halfway across the state to go rock climbing, where every time you climb up you have to turn and throw a dart at a board behind you and pop a balloon full of paint to create a splattered picture. Or she'll drag you down the street to a cat cafe, where you'll drink cappuccinos while sitting with cats and petting them as well. Her way of finding these odd areas, she's quick to notice things. She's the type of person who watches people while she's sitting on a bench. Can analyze a person from a far (yet most of the time she jumps to conclusions on their life. But, can easily figure out their weight, height, nervous ticks, and what makes them angry from watching them). She can also figure out the situations she's in pretty quickly, when she doesn't know what type of situation she's in. Being cautious of her surroundings, makes it easy for her to be fearless and adventurous. Getting herself in sketchy situations, isn't as hard because she knows how to handle herself. Despite this, Shim has her downsides. Actually, she has a lot of them. Shim is strangely adamant about stating her opinion, and anything revolving it. If someone tries to argue with her (about anything) she'll literally fight until the other person gives up, or finally agrees with her. There is no disagreeing with Shim. She's so peremptory on her opinion that she doesn't care of she'll hurt others in the process. This leads people to believe that she's rude, and mean. She's not; but, she can come off that way. Her craziness about her opinion, tends to make her quite haughty. She's like a firecracker, blasting spit fire at people wherever she goes. She doesn't mind yelling, actually she enjoys screaming. Whether it's a situation where someone is asking he to leave a club, she'll scream (over the top and catching people's attention) if it's a situation where someone's getting angry with her, she doesn't mind getting in a huge screaming match with them. She's a fighter, always has been, always will be. This probably makes her a bit distasteful in some people's mind. Even nasty. I mean, who likes someone who is constantly yelling at people? She's quite intolerable to many, maybe even loathsome to others. They can't stand her so much, that they hate her.

She's never really realized, how many people dislike her which can make her almost naive and unaware of how much they dislike her. She comes off ignorant in simple situations. Situations that can easily be interpreted. She's kind of gullible in the sense that she's easy to be ill-informed. She's the type of person who's oblivious to other's feelings, and situations that should be avoided. It makes her absentminded, and it's almost like she's day dreaming because she's so oblivious to others. Last, but not least, Shim is careless. Whether it's in her personal or private life. In her personal life, she can fail at keeping her relationships in check. Sometimes she even fails at keeping a regular check-up with her sister, or talking to her parents on a good basis as well. In her private life, she's known for disappearing and staying away from her real life for hours, and instead disappearing in the world. She's odd, she's crazy, and she's all Shim.

BACKGROUND :　The odd Shim was born in the midst of winter, of the year of 1992. At the time, her parents were both Scientist whom hadn't really wanted children. Yet, they had two. Her sister wasn't born until five years later, and Shim was extremely excited. Her life before Mi, was (to be frank) sad. She was lonely, and stuck with a nanny, because her parents were always busy. Always. So, Mi's birth was like the heaven's gift. Something that wasn't necessarily expected; yet, happened anyways. And Shim couldn't be anymore thankful. The two girls always got along great, and to Mi, Shim was her rock. Mi knows that no matter what, her older sister will always be there for her. Which, was true. And still is. When Mi started elementary school, and was too shy to make friends; Shim was the one that told her to get out of her shell and be herself; because, Shim knows how great Mi truly is. And when Mi was being bullied in middle school, Shim was the one who made her way from her high school (with a baseball bat in hand) and beat the out of every single one of those bullies.

Anyways, growing up (seeing as their parents weren't in their life) Shim took the role as the 'parent'. She fed, bathed, and took care of nearly anything having to do with Mi. Which meant, she didn't have as much free time in her life. So, for her free time, she dedicated it to eating pounds of food while taping herself. Ultimately, she started making money, which lead to it becoming a full time job while she was in high school. Not only was she a part-time parent to her younger sister, and a student; but, she happened to be working as well (and not just while eating food) she also had a job at the local convenience store. Leading her to have two jobs.Because of that, she didn't truly have a high school life. She didn't make friends, and she didn't date. Her whole life was wrapped around taking care of her sister, and herself.

She's always felt some kind of distaste to her parents because of that. Instead of watching all these relationships and friendships on drama's, she wishes to have experienced that in life. But, because her parents were always busy with work, she had to take that role up. Not allowing her to be a child...ever. Soon after she graduated high school, she was scouted by Namoo Actors because of her food live-streams and blogs. They thought she had a good visual, and unique, look who has talent to become an actress. Around the time she was twenty, she signed a contract with the agency, and started training. She dropped her job at the convenience store, and dropped at college as well. She became a full time actress in training at Namoo, while she continued to take care of her younger sister. Her younger sister, whom kind of, doesn't know that she's becoming an actress. And still believes she's doing the food live-streams while she's trying to figure her out.

▸ IS A HUGE ANTI-FAN OF KIM SUNGGYU OF INFINITE : to go into detail, she's a fan of Infinite itself; but, feels like Sunggyu isn't a good enough leader. And feels like he's the reason their fame seems to keep dropping.

Shim and Mi have been close ever since Mi was born. They are like two-peas in a pod; always doing things together, and never liking to be separated. Though, as much as Shim likes to believe that her younger sister is perfect, and made of apple pies and rainbows; Mi does have her downsides. For example, her way of thinking has always kept her on one way of life. If, ever, someone pushes her into thinking another way; she get's thoroughly upset. Not hesitating to run to her older sister, to cry into her arms like a baby. She's always been this way, and there's really nothing that Shim can do to change her. Nevertheless, Mi has always been a cute little booger. Always doing things that leads people to believe she's a cute a little girl. Which, also leads people to believe she's weak; and, she is. Leading Shim to always take care of her; because, well, her sister is a baby in her eyes.

▸ NEW FRIENDS — NAM JIMIN (17) — FANTAIGO TRAINEE & STUDENT — YOUTHFUL & QUIET — Jimin and Shim met during auditions for the show. Seeing as Jimin is rather hesitant around people when they first meet, and Shim isn't; Shim took the initiative to talk to her first. They actually hit it off quite well, and seeing as Jimin is in the same situation as Shim; Shim told her everything after she was paired with Sunggyu. Seeing as Shim was a fuming mess (being the ultimate anti-fan of his). And Jimin was the one who seemed to calm her down and help her through understanding it's just a show. And she can practice her acting through being nice to Sunggyu instead of hating him. In return, Shim is like an older sister, helping the naive Jimin wherever she goes. If there's a crisis happening on the show, and Jimin needs someone to talk to, she turns toward Shim. And vice versa. They've only known each other for a small amount of time, and yet are already treating each other like good friends.

YEARS : THREE YEARS TOTAL— She's been a foodie blogger, longer than she's been an actress. She's still a food blogger (especially on live-stream) but no one really knows it's her; because, of all the eccentric things she wears while filming. She's practically unknown in the acting industry and has never been in the spotlight.
NOTES :

▸ THE BEGINNING — When she was in highschool she created a bunch of blogs where she filmed herself eating food (a huge thing over in Korea) and she did think of it as a career; but, it did turn into something like that. She began live streaming every Monday and Friday. Every time a person would click-in, the company holding the live-stream would give her five dollars. By the time she was in her third-year of high school, she was able to pay for her and her sister to go to college all by herself.
▸ THE SCOUTING AND TRAINING — She was scouted when she was twenty, by Namoo Actors who convinced her that she could have a good career as an actress. She was sublimely hesitant because that wasn't her dream (at all). But, after a few months of deciding (soon after her twenty-first birthday) she agreed. After joining the company she was pushed into a multitude of acting classes, along with practicing for singing (in case they wanted to push her into singing) and she also began doing modeling classes (because they thought it would be good for her if she ever decided to do CF's or photoshoots). She was very overwhelmed (even when she hadn't done anything).
▸ THE REAL CAREER — She still eats food on live-stream, to get extra money when she needs it, seeing as her actual career isn't working out. Other than that, she really hasn't done anything in terms of her acting career. The company (whom houses amazing actors and actresses) believes she still isn't worthy to do huge acting jobs. She hasn't even auditioned for anything, except for a commercial (once) but she didn't get the part.
▸ THE END — Her CEO, believed it would be a good idea for her to do the reality show; to give her exposure. Soon afterwards, the idea is that she goes into reality shows, like hosting on music shows; before, she goes into becoming an actress. People would believe that she had found her passion in acting when she was doing all these reality shows. (In cause, it wouldn't look like she's been training for so many years.)

▸ /Because my CEO told me too...duh. Wait, Shim, you're not famous! You don't have a CEO! Gosh, I'm such an idiot. I wish I could slap myself. I put the thought at the back of my mind and smile graciously./ Because I've never been able to find the right guy, and some may find me idiotic for going on a reality show; but, I thought 'why not?' You know?

question : what do you hope you'll leave this show with?

▸ /I hope that I'll be able to survive this show without killing myself. No, let's not think that way Shim! Be positive Shim, think positive!/ The will to continue dating! /What am I even saying? Sheesh, face-palm! God I'm freaking idiot!/

PERSONALITY :

▸ CURIOUS — You know that saying, 'curiosity killed the cat'. Well, Sunggyu is the epitome of that cat. He's the one who's always getting into trouble because he finds himself going off and doing things that he probably shouldn't be doing. His company is nearly always getting mad at him for disappearing for days to go looking for someone, without ever telling anyone. He's very ignorant in the sense that he should tell people where he's going; but, doesn't.
▸ PASSIONATE — Unbeknownst to Shim, Sunggyu is very caring and harsh about his career. He pushes himself because he loves what he does and he wants to succeed farth than he possibly could. Shim's always believed that Sunggyu is the one who's too lazy; but, he's the one that stays late at the studio and goes over the choreography because he knows he has the least amount of experience in dancing. He's the one who works extra hard on his vocals; because, he feels like his single career didn't work out as well as he thought it would. He's just passionate about everything.
▸ INSECURE — Sunggyu happens to be seriously unsure of his career, and the things he does in life. Always being sensitive to what others say about him. Whenever Shim talks down to him, he's easily hurt. Even though he tries to hide it; it really hurts him on the inside because he tries so hard yet feels like he doesn't succeed.
▸ FOOLISH — Like many have come to realize, Sunggyu is quite the fool. Always making jokes, and doing funny things. Though, this happens to be a downfall in his life. His foolishness leads him to actual being a fool. Becoming un-educated in a situation that should easily be solved. He can come off as gullible (and yeah he is) he can turn into a real idiot around people. Which proves to Shim that he isn't leader material.

LOVE STORY :

▸ AT FIRST — When the two first met, Shim acted like her eccentric and over the top personality on camera. As did Sunggyu. He happened to really like her personality, and (for him) enjoyed being around her while the cameras were rolling. It was easy to laugh with her, and be himself. And, for a moment, Shim actually liked being around him.
▸ BUT THEN — Come off camera, Shim begins showing her distaste toward him. And Sunggyu, began to realize that the girl wasn't as she showed herself. He began asking her why she doesn't like him; which lead her into her long speech about how he doesn't deserve to be the leader of Infinite, and he should quit while he's ahead. Though he was obviously hurt, Sunggyu kept it together and vowed to her that he would show her she's wrong.
▸ AND SO — Every moment Sunggyu got, he tried to show her how great he truly is as a leader. At one point (just a suggestion) he brings her to the studio where he serenades her and shows off his skills. Thus, in cause, Shim began to (slowly, very slowly) show that she understands that he is a leader. There are points in which he's too friendly to her, and begins to show skinship (which on camera is great but off camera Shim isn't a big fan of).
▸ BUT THEN — In the process of trying to prove himself, Sunggyu actually begins falling for Shim and her eccentric screaming self. Which leads him to kissing her in the midst of a camera date. This then leads to a huge scandal where people believe that there's something more to them. Sense, in the contract, skinship on that level isn't expressed.
▸ AND THUS — The two's relationship is awkward, sense Shim comes to learn that Sunggyu actually likes her. Which, is where she reveals that she actually has a crush on Dongwoo instead and doesn't feel the same way. Even though Shim doesn't feel the same way (and that hurts Sunggyu immensely) he still enjoys every moment with her. And won't hesitate from skinship when they're on camera together.
▸ HIS JEALOUSY — Sunggyu becomes immensely jealous of Dongwoo and Shim's relationship as the days go by. Especially after he introduces her to all of his bandmates. When they're altogether, Sunggyu can see how much she likes him, and is always seen brooding around them.

RELATIONSHIP STATUS : THE ANNOYING TEDDY BEAR & THE GIANT ANTI-FAN — Meaning, Sunggyu is way too cuddly toward Shim, who doesn't want to have anything to do with him. He tries to get her to like him, but she just won't budge. Despite the fact that he's so obviously hurt by her hatred for him. And he's literally trying everything to get her to understand him.
ENDING : TOGETHER — Their last day together, Shim becomes very emotional, though she's not sure why. The two go on a date where Sunggyu keeps hugging her and saying he's going to miss her. Even when they're off camera, he's saying so and it only makes her feel even worse because she doesn't want this to end. She does like him. More than she likes Dongwoo. In her last interview, she get's all teary eyed and after saying her goodbyes she leaves the room only to find Sunggyu standing there with his arms wide-open. And despite her hatred for him in the beginning, she steps right into his arms and tells him how much she likes him.
PERSONA : THE IDIOT COUPLE — The two were granted this nickname, some time after the show began. Seeing as Sunggyu is known for having his stupid moments, and Shim soon becomes known for being just as stupid as he can be. Known for getting directions wrong, getting lost in a crowd, mispronouncing something, and getting things twisted.

LOVE INTEREST :　JANG DONGWOO — Infinite
BACK UP LOVE INTEREST :　LEE HOYA — Infinite
PERSONALITY :

▸ KIND-HEARTED — Just like how the fans perceive him, Dongwoo is a practical angel. Always being caring to s, friends, and families. He's easy to get along with because of how nice he is. He's easy to approach and start conversation with and is super caring soon after. He also has a tendency to love people soon after meeting them.
▸ HONEST — It fits perfectly with his kind nature, that Dongwoo is extremely honest. Honest in the fact that he never lies. But, that doesn't mean he's not secretive. He can, and will, hide things from others. And is known for being the one to keep secrets (but then break them). He's also known for never telling lies, unless he's prompted to by production.
▸ COWARD — Him being secretive, happens to have him lead to being a coward. He's not one for showing how he truly feels about people (even Shim) and will hide it. He's not good with being brave, and hides himself from people. He doesn't like being in control of situations, because he's afraid he'll mess them up. He's a true coward, sadly.
▸ CONFORMIST — Being a coward leads him to being a follower, one who follows whatever anyone else says. He doesn't mind not sharing his views, and doing what others says. Despite not sharing the same opinions, or views. He's kind of ignorant in this sense.

LOVE STORY :

▸ TALKATIVE FRIENDS — Soon after meeting, Dongwoo finds himself attracted to Shim and every time he meets her, he likes talking to her. He's the one who talks to her frantically while the other members are hanging out, and will even find himself pulling her away from Sunggyu.
▸ MUTUAL FEELINGS — After learning that he likes her, and she likes him, Dongwoo was extremely excited. He had never dated, nor had a girl he liked: like him back. Yet, when Sunggyu tells him how much he likes Shim (truly and not just on camera) he buries his crush deep down and side. Letting Shim believe that he doesn't feel the same way. That he's ignorant and oblivious to her feelings.

THOUGHTS ON SHOW :

▸ AT FIRST — He was extremely happy that his best friend was going on a romance show, because he feels like his hyung would never date. And was especially excited to meet the female who'd take his heart.
▸ BUT THEN — He becomes extremely jealous of Sunggyu once he gets to know Shim. Which, is kind of funny seeing as Sunggyu is jealous of Dongwoo. When Dongwoo finds out Shim likes him, he doesn't advance on his feelings knowing that his hyung actually likes her, and feels like he should be happy instead of himself.

RELATIONSHIP STATUS : THE IGNORANT IDIOT AND THE ONE SIDED LOVE — Dongwoo is Shim's bias within Infinite, and is practically desperately in love with him. Whenever they meet, she blushes and becomes a giant fool. She tries to flirt with him; but, he doesn't understand her...at all.
ENDING : NOT TOGETHER — Dongwoo never truly reveals that he falls for Shim, not when he begins to realize that she actually likes Sunggyu. He's happy when he finds out the two decide to try things out, and buries his feelings deep inside; never letting her know that he felt the same way at she did.
