Pictures Disappearing

Hey there everyone! I have a quick question! 

The pictures I have been using for my backgrounds, chapters, and cover pics have been disappearing...meaning I have to go and put them up again...which can be hard since I do not always remember what went where :(

My beta also pointed out that if I lose a picture, then go to tumblr and get that EXACT same picture again...the url address changes...which is strange since it is the exact same picture and I am not reuploading it or anything :/ Uuuhhh....so much confusion on that end...

Does anyone else have this problem?

I usually have the picture and save it to my computer (sometimes I just use the link offline though), and then I put it into tumblr and use the link from tumblr and it works. But...I just do not understand why some of the pictures keep going away, because then I have to reupload the picture to tumblr sometimes because the old link will not work :/

Is there a different way I should be doing this to get my pics to stay...?

Please help if you know a way >_< Because this is annoying and frustrating :/

Hi dear^^
I have all the pictures of 50 shades of choi's and I saved them in order of chapthers number
I also have pictures of 50 shades more complicated but up to ch 40
If it'll help, I can upload them somewhere for you :)

It's because you're using links from the internet aka you're just LINKING to those photos which means whoever hosts those photos has the right to change anything about them(the name of the image, the size, name in url/link etc.) and that leaves you with "broken" images(broken links in general).
The reason the pictures you uploaded from YOUR tumblr work is because you saved them on YOUR computer beforehand(they now literally belong to you until you delete them - you're basically the one hosting them, well your pc is). Then you upload them to your tumblr(or any other site) and post a link of that tumblr image on whichever site on the internet and it will work for as long as your tumblr page is active.
All because you saved that image locally on your computer and then uploaded it somewhere on the internet, on some page you have a bit of control of - like your tumblr profile - so the link to that photo will work for as long as your tumblr is active.

Hi there...

It happened to me 1-2 years back... My friend who makes my background and cover photos told me that our photos aren't appearing when she was reading my stories and she doesn't know why too...

She even saved up all tumblr links of the pics of me to put up again but it's too much work... *sigh*

Hope someone here has a solution...
