「 Blossom 」violet - feng dandan。

Danny : Feng DANDAN
Bapoverflowers : Jacy : 8/10

full name : feng Dandan
nickname(s) :
Feng oppa : Given to her soon after she got close to her members. She has a lot of boyish tendencys, and because of that she comes off as 'one-of-the-guys'. When people become comfortable with her, they like to call her oppa.
→ Cookie monster : given to her by her beloved grandmother when she was six, for obvious reasons. She still tends to steal cookies; and, in cause, is called this. She resents this nickname.
→ superstar Feng : no one calls her this. When she got chosen to be a trainee at Blooming, she decided to call herself this in an attempt to brag about herself. It backfired and people now taunt her with this name after years of calling herself this. She gets flustered whenever she hears this name.
birthdate : December 17th 1994 (21 about to be 22)
birthplace : bade, Taoyuan City, Taiwan (Republic of China)
hometown : Zhongli, Taoyuan city, Taiwan (republic of China)
ethnicity : Han Chinese
languages :
→ Mandarin | fluent | Her native tongue.
→ Korean | Semi-fluent | began self-learning at the age of thirteen; began taking actual classes when she was sixteen. she really started to take Korean seriously when she started those classes; because, she knew she wanted to be an idol. (started learning in the first place, just to watch kdramas).
→ Cantonese | below basic | Cantonese is drastically different from Mandarin; but, since her father works in mainland China, he forced her to learn. She dearly at it despite having begun learning at fourteen. never let this child speak cantonese, she sounds like a dying cat.

like a mannequin

faceclaim : xuanyi of Cosmic Girls (WJSN)
backup : Cheng xiao of Cosmic girls (wjsn)
height & weight : 166cm & 53kg
bloodtype : O+
appearance : she looks like an adorable little jellybean; with her puffy cheeks, pink pouty lips, bright hazel eyes that are a bit too big for her face, and her long cascading caramel hair. but, this child, is anything but! she’s a monster in disguise. when she doesn’t pound on the make-up for her public outings: she looks like disaster struck her face. she has really bad dark circles that never seem to fade, and because her body believes she’s still a teenager, bountiful amounts of pimples pop up here and now: specifically, on her chin. she also has this horrible tendency to scrounge up her forehead when confused or angry so she has three small lines going across her forehead. the only way they go away is if she massages her forehead for a good ten minutes. thus being the reason why she takes forever in the bathroom putting on her makeup. yet, despite these meniscal flaws, dandan is actually very beautiful. she’s average for most chinese females; but, looks aren’t everything…right?
style : when she’s not in the public eye, promoting, or on stage—dandan likes wearing outfits that are universal and comfortable. she likes to be able to breathe; yet, also be able to go outside and do stuff and not look like she’s been held up in her room all day (despite probably being held up in her room all day). a whole half of her closet is dedicated to harem pants of all different styles, colors, and patterns. she freaking loves harem pants. there’s just something about not having a pant ride up that is pleasing; it feels almost like she’s sitting in air. another half of her closet is dedicated to flannels. growing up on an island where half of the year was desperately chilling: dandan came to appreciate flannels. whether their insulated or not. her shoes are either adidas or doc martens depending on how she feels for the day. she has a bountiful amount of bucket hats (in an array of colors and patterns). she enjoys wearing this hawaiian t-shirt her father got her a few years back. she has an army jacket she wears constantly (even in the summer) and also enjoys wearing high wasted denim shorts. she also has a good majority of shirts that portray the characters of big hero 6 because it was one of her favorite movies. when it comes to formal wear, she doesn’t enjoy wearing heels so she has a bunch of pretty flats instead—she has two dresses that she interchanges for events, both are laced (she has a thing for lace) but one is white and the other is a light orange.

why am i like this?
traits :
→ positive : Cheerful, friendly, cute, observant
→ neutral : Absentminded, dramatic
→ negative : fearful, Irresponsible, impolite, odd

PERSONALITY :  a goofy girl with a loving soul, and a bright future ahead of her. growing up in a small, yet bustling city, dandan was like the bright light in a sea of boring souls. she could easily be spotted talking animatedly to some of the food cart ladies, or starring wide eyed in front of clothing stores, and pointing at all the pretty objects inside. her mind, outside of school, work, and home life, was merely focused on the things around her. she liked to watch people, not like a stalker, but like when she sits on a park bench she’ll watch other people from a far as they laugh with each other. or she can spot when people are lying, or doing something wrong. she’s just very attentive, and can always spot things around her. she took enjoyment from talking to new people (usually around her age) and that’s mainly due to the fact that’s she’s crazy friendly. for example, her first day at jyp entertainment, she excitedly began talking to the nearest person whom happened to become her best friend later on in life—hyunwoo—and who also happened to be a trainee. yet, instead of asking for the boy’s name, she goes to the next person—her soon to be crush, jaebum—once more she doesn’t ask for a name, but instead goes for the next person—a janitor—and this time she talks for about thirty or so minutes and then asks his name. ff there’s one thing she’s known for, it’s being overly bubbly. some people think it may just be a façade. covering up her true personality; but, in actuality, dandan is just a very happy person. most of her life was very private—specifically when she was younger—so she didn’t get to really experience friendships when she was younger. so when she was fifteen, and took the train all the way to korea to become an idol, the first thing she wanted was friends and happiness—and talking to people left and right. when people actually took the time to get to know her—specifically hyunwoo and jaebum—they’d know that dandan is literally the epitome of what she shows. she wears her heart on her sleeve all day every day. when she gets really close to someone, to the point that she feels she can not only trust the person but also that the person trusts her, she gets really touchy. Like not in a romantic way; but, in a cutesy friendship way. she likes to back hug the person, or hold their hand twenty-four-seven. sometimes she’ll kiss their cheek—this may be the reason people at jyp and why fans, believe that she and hyunwoo were dating. she also has a tendency to truly show her cute side when she gets friendly with someone. like, she’ll start doing aegyo, even though she hates doing aegyo. like, she never does aegyo on variety shows, or in public. but she constantly does it in private with her best friend and her members. and nearly everyone gets annoyed by it.

after getting dropped from jyp, dandan became very closed off from a lot of people—including her best friend and jaebum—and practically the world. her mind could literally not focus on anything. for example, when she watches her dramas—and she loves watching dramas—she usually likes to think of ahead, to figure out what happens next, but in this time frame she would barely even look at the screen and would usually find herself walking around her dingy apartment or starring out the window for periods of time. even though she was still trying to find another agency to work for, her mind would nearly always be off topic. her daily phone calls with her grandmother she wouldn’t be excited and instead would be stuttering out um’s and uh’s. which is very unusual for her since she’s usually always excited and has thousands of things to talk about. conversations that usually lasted hours turned into only twenty-minute phone calls. she would be increasingly passive on phone calls with her father where he would bash her for getting dropped from jyp despite her telling him over and over again about how being an idol is what she wants to do. even when she got selected to be a trainee at blooming, her mind is still weary and she’s increasingly distracted. it almost seems like she’s daydreaming, constantly. after getting into blooming, her happiness level did go back to what it was, but—because of what she experienced at jyp—she was overly dramatic. any time she got a critique, instead of crying, she’d push herself hard and yell at people who’d try to stop her. there would be times in which she’d be way too dehydrated and someone at blooming would have to either call her grandmother, or get hyunwoo to come over and stop her from overworking. her phone calls with her grandmother she’d cry—saying how she’s going to get dropped again. and if hyunwoo came, she’d yell, scream, most likely throw things until she’d fall into a pit of despair. she took multiple critiques real hard, and she still does. whenever she receives hate she gets all emotional and over dramatic. people are never sure why; but, it’s mostly because she doesn’t want to ever be what jy park thinks she is. she doesn't want to fail

even though after what happened at jyp made her determined for the future, she became a coward. hate is just one aspect of her fearfulness. before fanmeets, or variety shows, she’s the one that freaks out and tries to bail before it even begins, or she’s the one that when she has to sing, gets nervous that no one is going to cheer for her. if ever they’re going to have a show that focuses on them, she’d be the one who is careful about what she says because she doesn’t want backlash. if she finds articles about herself that bashes her or critiques her, she’s easily brought to tears. she’s usually the one who’s terrified before performances and afraid of the outcomes on award shows. she’s very apprehensive. her cowardliness turns her into a fool, and very rash. for instances, she’s the one who avoids fans and heads straight to the van because she feels like she won’t get any compliments and she’ll only get hate. it’s also because she knows that koreans are very apprehensive with other east asians. she’ll probably be the one that avoids going out in public the most, which is quiet weird. she’s negligent to some of her idol duties and that’s why some fans don’t like her as much as the other. to be quite frank, dadan feels likes she’s probably the least liked member of blossom. a lot of fans, even people just people in general, assume that she has horrible manners. not only because she drops her idol duties but she comes off as bad-mannered and almost like she’s an unpolished trainee. in variety shows, even though she’s her cheerful self, she has a tendency to avoid some questions that revolve around jyp or anything having to do with her trainee life. she hates talking about her life as a trainee, especially because of all of her breakdowns and her hard tears and sweat. it’s almost sad how people assume that she just doesn’t care to be a trainee, because that’s definitely not it—she loves being a trainee—she’s just scared. nevertheless, if you look up dandan’s name on the web, there’s hundreds of articles listing how she’s not good enough to be a trainee because she neglects her duties as an idol and wasn’t trained enough. besides that, dandan came come off a little odd to people. she has unusual tendencies. she doesn’t make eye contact, she stands too close to people, when people want canned responses she says something out of left field, instead of saying just hello she starts stammering sometimes—specifically when she’s uncomfortable in a situation that shouldn’t be—and goes off on this extravagant way of saying a simple word. she acts too hyper, and a bit childish. she talks to herself and has a habit of giggling for no apparent reason. she’s a bit too knowledgeable in how to build shed, fences, gates and how to put in base board and flooring. part of it is due to the fact that she was closed off as a child, so she’s socially unaware of how society should act. and people just don’t like that; it takes an unconventional type of person to like everything that is dandan. because with all of her loveliness, there are a good amount of downfalls.

background : feng dandan was a product of a mistake and accident. her father, beiyi had a one night stand the day after his graduation from school. the woman was a classmate of his, a quiet girl whom he had never met before nor had been associated with. it was a quick and swift encounter, and after it was done, it was done. except, for beiyi, nine and half months later at his old apartment in taipei, a four-week old baby wrapped in a pink blanket with the name: dandan attached to her, and a paternity test in between the blanket; was left outside of it, just for him. after a thousand calls later, and hundreds of anger fits—beiyi finally came to the conclusion that dandan is indeed his child. his daughter. with that woman, whose name he can’t remember, and whose face is merely the whispers of the wind. with the job he had at the time—working as an employee for an up and coming hotel known as the ba hotel—he couldn’t take time to be with his daughter and take care of her. so, he took dandan and went back home to his mother—minmin—and left her with the woman. beiyi would only appear every once in a while as dandan was growing up, and when he was around—he wasn’t necessarily a father, he was more like just a man that hung around in her childhood.

growing up with her grandmother was probably like the best damn life dandan could’ve ever wanted. her grandmother spoiled her like crazy. if she wanted a candy from the store, she’d get it—wanted have fish for dinner? move out of the way fried chicken, here comes some fish. even though her grandmother disdained the whole entirety of the reason dandan was born, she couldn’t love the child more than she does now. as a child, her grandmother used to tell her glad she was born—yet, whenever dandan wanted to know about her mother—her grandmother would say it’s out of the question and she doesn’t need to know. it wasn’t until she turned the age of ten, that she learned about her birth. she learned from an email her father had mistakenly sent her, an angry letter he had written to her mother after he found the woman. it wrote out nearly everything having to do with dandan’s birth. for a period of time, she was a complete and utter mess. thinking that her father hated her for being born, and that her mother didn’t want her. it wasn’t until her grandmother confronted her for being different from her usual self, that dandan changed back to her normal ways. the emotional talk took a toll on the both of them, and dandan’s grandmother had to call her father so he’d make an apology—one that did actually sound apologetic, and one that he actually felt bad for. it was at this place in time that dandan seriously became attached to her grandmother, and father—because she knew, for a fact, that they loved her. even if her father is very standoffish, he still loves her in his own way…sort of.

by the time dandan was thirteen, she had become enthralled with korean dramas, and dancing. seeing as she’s been home schooled since she was a child—her grandmother was fearful of dandan going to regular school because of the circumstances of her birth (children with a single parent are usually looked down upon)—dramas were her outlook into normalcy. yes, they were a bit eccentric, and she never enjoys the ist parts; but, it made her feel like she was just as normal as the rest of society. this is around the time she began to learn korean so she didn’t have to wait for subtitles or anything of the like. as for dancing, her grandmother had placed her in ballet classes when she was younger because of the situation with the letter and her father; but, she had quit after a while, and instead began practicing routines from kpop music videos. specifically, 2ne1 because she liked their badass, girl power style which was uncommon in other groups. even though she had never once done hip-hop, she enjoyed it nonetheless; and she began pretty good at it too. at age fourteen, she began to try and convince her grandmother to let her got to korea to become an idol. it took months, and months of constant asking; before dandan’s grandmother came to an agreement and sent the child off to an audition being held in taipei by jyp entertainment. miraculously, she got in, mainly for her dancing skills—but they also said she has a natural vocal talent. the company set the whole thing up, they gave her a place to stay in seoul, and arranged a schedule for her day-to-day life so that her grandmother wouldn’t worry. by the age of fifteen, she was settled in a dorm system in seoul, and started her trainee life. she became quick friends with hyunwoo, and jaebum whom she trusted with helping her in advancing through her career.

tragically though, jy park decided to drop dandan; spouting nonsense about how she wasn’t good enough. she’ll never be good enough, and how she doesn’t have the ‘jyp look and style’. at the age of eighteen, with the little money she had, she rented a crappy apartment west of gangnam-gu and auditioned at every company she could. she dropped all connections to jaebum because she couldn’t even stand to look at someone who belonged to jyp—and even though she tried not to look at hyunwoo, he wouldn’t let her stop being his friend. overtime she seriously began to change, and turned into to what she was like when she found that letter from her father. she had not told her grandmother she got dropped, only her father who constantly berated her because of it—for he was against her becoming an idol in the first place. a few months into auditioning, she got the notice from blooming saying they’d love to have her as a trainee. she agreed, almost instantly, and began training. it wasn’t easy for her to make friends with people—after what happened at jyp. and she had a hard time taking critiques of any kind—she also had to inform her grandmother. whom, surprisingly, already knew because hyunwoo had told her. though her grandmother was upset, she was always concerned for dandans health and care. eespite everything she had went through, she managed to hold her weaknesses together and preserve through her training to be put in the line-up for blossom.

family :

feng minmin | paternal grandmother | mid-60s | bakery owner | caring & aggressive
probably one of the only people in the whole wide world that dandan would die for. she believes that her grandmother is like, the best person on the whole planet—the whole universe even. dandan feels like her whole career is just a way to make sure that she has enough money to support her grandmother, when her grandmother stops working. one of the main reasons dandan loves her grandmother is because she always seems to be there when she needs her. whenever there was unfairness going on at school, dandan’s grandmother would be the first one to come to bat for her. she’s not afraid to state her opinion, or to yell at someone if her grandbaby is being hurt. when moving to korea, the hardest thing for dandan to deal with, was being away from her beloved grandmother. she literally cries every night in which she doesn’t get to at least talk to her. she has so much respect and love for the woman who took time and care out of her life to raise her granddaughter despite the situation around it.

feng beiyi | father | 40 | ceo of ba-hotel group | stern & pompous
growing up with only a father (a single father) and a grandmother, dandan came to really appreciate both of them. but, because her father was away for most of her childhood, she learned to cherish the moments that he was around. she’d work day and night to draw him paintings, bake his favorite cake, to looks presentable just for him. though she’d always be crushed when her father would only say a simple ‘hi’ before locking himself away in his room to work some more. unforeseen to dandan, her father holds a lot of resentment for her. he believes that because she was born, he wasn’t able to reach the position he truly wants to hold in the business world. because of that, none of his co-workers know that dandan exists, he doesn’t talk about her, he doesn’t have any pictures of her, and he always keeps their phone calls straight and to the point. whenever he was around, dandan truly tried to make her father realize how much she loves him, but he’d always be the one to critique her and tell her what she needs to be doing better in life. he’s also the one that said her dream of becoming an idol will never come true. nevertheless, dandan continues to act like her father is the most amazing person in the world. she won’t hesitate to brag about how her dad raised her all by himself, and how he works for this mega corporation. and how he graduated from college despite having her at nineteen. she loves her dad, he just, he doesn’t love her back.
friends :
son hyunwoo | best friend | 23 | shownu of monsta x | friendly & quiet
the two became quick friends after becoming trainees together at jyp; before shownu went to starship and debuted with monsta x. there was always something between them; be at romance, or intimacy. a lot of people at jyp believed that the two were secretly dating; but, it was never like that. hyunwoo never had the guts to ask out dandan, and dandan never had the guts to confess her feelings. this may be due to the fact that hyunwoo isn’t one for talking much. you won’t find him being the one to strike up a conversation unless you’re already friends. he’s just not a talkative guy; and speaks through his actions instead. though, despite that, the two happened to become great friends. hyunwoo was dandan’s greatest support system as a trainee, especially when she first moved to korea. he seems to always be there when she needs someone, and has always been a great listener and one for her to rely on.

park jinyoung | somewhat friends | 21 | junior of got7 | friendly & disorderly
the two trained with each other in jyp for a while, and their only serious connection is through jaebum. once in a while they’d eat lunch together and dandan found him to be quite nice and he was always greeting her and being maybe (too) overly friendly. though, from what she’s learned from jaebum, junior can be a bit unsettling sometimes. he plays pranks on people quite often, and rebels against some of the rules. yet, dandan can only find that to be a good thing about him. jinyoung always seemed to come off as a bit strict so it’s nice to know that he’s not all that strict.

mark tuan | old trainee friend | 22 | mark of got7 | calm & stern
another trainee friend of dandan’s. he used to help her with her dancing (specifically with her horrid technique) and she’d help him with pening up to other trainees, seeing as he was a bit quiet compared to the rest. he helped her sometimes with learning korean, since she still wasn’t that great, and she helped him with learning some mandarin since he wanted to learn. after she split from jyp, they didn’t talk much, and didn’t keep in contact. but when dandan became friends with jaebum once more—the two went back into the natural habit of helping one another.

i wanna be like that unni

stage name :
→ Danny : because of her boyish ways of doing things and unique given name, the company came to an agreement (with dandan) that danny would be a good stage name.
persona : bloosom's adorable oppa
position : lead vocal, dancer → vocal, main dancer, visual
fanclub : jagiya's → #ffa500
talent twin(s) :
→ singing : soyu of SIStar → soyeon of t-ara
→ rapping : joy of red velvet → irene of red velvet
→ dancing : nicole of kara → hyoyeon of SNSd
trainee years : 4 years at JYP & 2 years at Blooming
TRAINEE life : four years of dandan’s trainee life was spent at jyp. that’s a long time. she joined when she was only at the age of fifteen, and was practically a newbie at everything. her only strong point, at the time, happened to be her dancing—which, compared to others, was significantly below average. she worked her off, all day every day, to make herself become what she wanted to be. her singing coaches were harsh, a majority the time—when they were giving critics and corrective criticism—they’d make dandan cry. (though, it’s not very hard to make her cry). there were times where she stayed in the studio all day and all night just to see if her voice could improve; but, in the end, it would only turn out raspy and uneven because she strained it. her rapping, wasn’t any better. it happens to be her worst talent, if there’s something she shouldn’t be doing…it’s rapping. jyp has okay rappers, ones that can at least keep their breathing intake and have smooth beats. dandan on the other hand…well…she . the first time there was ever a cypher for rapping at jyp, dandan was forced to go in by one of the other trainees who was her best friend at the time—hyunwoo, who is now Shownu of monsta x—she began rapping about homework and how that applies to the society of today. everyone in the cypher stopped their beats, stopped moving, and just starred at her. because, what the hell? for the longest time, no one knew why dandan was a trainee in the first place. her vocals were ‘meh’ her rapping was ‘bleh’ so why was she there? finally, when dance classes started, she began to prove to them all how talented she really is. now, she isn’t the best, and can’t reach anything that most dancers can, but man, this girl can move. when starting out she had horrid technique, and wasn’t trained in anything—she only knew how to break dance. but, as the years went by, and with the help of trainee’s mark, and jaebum (of got7) she was able to improve her technique. as the days droned by, dandan could finally see the improvement in her vocals and rapping—her dancing, as well. things were slowly starting to progress. to slowly. one afternoon, jy park invited dandan to his office to have a ‘talk’ she thought—and yes she’s an idiot—that they were going to talk about her debuting with another group. but, the conversation spawned elsewhere. he began to list out reason after reason as to why she doesn’t belong at jyp entertainment. she was beyond confused. so, he laid it out for her: your vocals are mediocre, your rapping is not good; your dancing is the only thing going for you—but none of it is good enough for me. and then, to place the cherry on top, he dropped her. she had never been so devastated

it was hard for her, specifically to say goodbye to the trainees she had become close with. but, she wasn’t about to let this get her down. with her head held high, dandan began auditioning everywhere and anywhere. it took months, but, finally, someone called her back informing her that she has a spot as a trainee at their company. blossom. she immediately took it—informing her family, and all her friends—before moving into the dorm system and getting back into the throw of things. she began to improve once again, her vocals were a lot better than what she had remembered—her rapping was still bleh—and her dancing had skyrocketed as well. after a year and a half of training at blossom, she was placed into the line-up for girl groups, where she met soobin and sooah. she became immensely close to them, and all of her other members. and even though she was scared of garnering hate and dislike from the public, dandan persevered.
predebut : she was featured in a few youtube videos, depicting her dancing with an underground crew, along with one-on-one cyphers where she would verse b-boys and b-girls. she didn’t go to these often; and the only reason she did was to get used to dancing, and to pick up some technique as well. she was also the face of a small ballet institute in her hometown for a good five years; when people went onto their website, the first thing they’d see is dandan’s face. the photo of a ten year old dandan wearing a tutu circles the web and pops up every here and now.
scandals :
→ blossom trainee dandan is actually jyp trainee jackson wang’s younger sister
| false | okay, first of all, dandan hadn't met jackson at the time of the article. by the time jackson was a trainee at jyp, dandan had already been kicked out. reporters and fans began speculating after seeing side by side photos of them from an article post about new chinese trainees at different companies. every time the article pops up, dandan can’t help but laugh because of how ridiculous it is. they don’t even have the same surname, and she’s from taiwan while he's from mainland china. not to mention that they were born in the same year but months apart. and now that she’s friends with him, the two get a kick out of it every now and again.

i've dreamed of a romantic movie

love interest : jaebum ; Got7
backup love interest : shownu ; monsta x

personality :
→ positive :  athletic,  charming, charismatic, leaderly
negative :  argumentative, conceited, disruptive, haughty

jaebum is the type of guy you look at and think, “wow, he’s cool.” dandan’s not quite sure how long it’s always been like that for him but when she first met him, that was the first thing she thought. he had this appealing aura about him, almost like he’s a prince from a faraway land. and sense she had grown-up watching kdramas, all she could keep thinking is how he’s that guy out of a drama. he’s the perfect guy. whenever she’d seem him talking with someone, he always seemed so polite with his mannerisms—which is so drastically different from hers—all the female trainees and staff members would fawn over him as if he seriously is a prince. even dandan would fawn over him, specifically when she’d talk to hyunwoo—telling him how fascinating the guy is. when they’d have classes together, jaebum would always volunteer to sing or dance first whether it was because he liked being first in everything or it was because he liked being the type of guy who leads other and helps others to follow him. dandan had always looked at him like he’s the type of guy who’d be the frontrunner in everything—not just because of his looks (which happens to be because of his fit and sporty attitude that comes along with being a trainee) but because of his practically glowing personality.

nevertheless, when the two became friends—dandan also learned of his downfalls. and, he has quite a few. jaebum is the type of person, to where if someone doesn’t agree with him, he’ll constantly get in fights with them. mainly verbal arguments, but he will fight when he has to. he doesn’t mind stepping on a few fingers, or crushing somes dreams.  stubborn, as a freaking bull; jaebum has always thought one way, and one way only. when people try and tell him to think otherwise it gets him angry. he'll get this face where it looks like he's constipated, and starts telling them why his way of thinking is better and how they're a stupid deviant that deserves to get their kicked with his shoe. even when someone's challenging him, training him, or even stating their opinion--there is no way for people to say no to him when he tells them they're doing or saying something wrong. in these situations, jaebum will do anything to win until he physically cannot.

on the other hand, jaebum is beyond arrogant. it's not even funny anymore. when talking about his dancing, he'll state how he did this move better than so-and-so. putting the other person down to make himself look better. he'll talk wildly about how his abs are beyond that of any man in the whole damn world. if someone dares to disagree with him, he'll state how much better he is then said person just because they disagreed. he'll put others down to make himself feel better--which is why some people find him to be a bully. and to be quiet frank, he can be a bully. people easily get annoyed with him when he talks about himself out loud in front of others, like at lunch, or at dance practice. he’s just way too overconfident in himself that he comes off as snooty and condescending. he's just, he's the type of guy who's an without meaning to be.

background :
partners | one-sided crush  :  dandan and jaebum had become friends sometime after dandan had become a trainee. she thought he was the bee’s knees, and he thought she was a complete and utter weirdo. nevertheless, the two got along great. they both had their own set of friends specifically dandan had hyunwoo, and jaebum had jinyoung—yet, whenever they’d see each other they’d stop to say hello and have a brief conversation. dandan had an extreme crush on him in the beginning stages of their relationship—to the point that she’d literally tell hyunwoo nearly everything she liked about him. (the girl was a complete idiot at the fact she couldn’t figure out that hyunwoo had the biggest crush on her) jaebum on the other hand didn’t really have feelings for her, but he did find her strangely appealing. over some time of just hellos and goodbyes, the two got positioned into the same dance classes and somehow became roped into being partners with one another. they’d train constantly beside each other, and when it was called for they’d be in duets together.
→ mutual feelings  :  jaebum has never been sure when; but, after becoming dance partners and exchanging numbers to which they text nearly every day—he fell for dandan. and he fell hard. he’s never really liked a girl (which is why later on in his career he’s forced to go on romantic and the idol) which is why he couldn’t convey his feelings very well. whenever he wanted to confess, it’d come out wrong and in the end he’d end up insulting her somehow in some way. by the time he’d finally gotten his together to confess to her, she had gotten dropped from jyp and he had gotten put in the lineup for got7 and he had activities with the jj project. every time he’d try to contact her, she’d ignore him. one day, she agreed to meet him at a local coffee shop and he was so excited. he had like a rose in his hand in which he hid behind his back, and like he had bought her a box of chocolates as well. but when she came, she couldn’t even look him in the eye because she was so disgusted with jyp at the time; yet, he was so damn excited because it had been months sense they had las seen each other. before he could give her the rose and chocolates though, she had flat out told him that she wanted no connection to jyp whatsoever and then got up and walked out. she had left him, sitting in a coffee shop with his feelings torn beyond repair.
→ friends once again | mutual feelings  :  a few months later, jaebum had already debuted with got7, and dandan had gotten into blooming—the two met up, not on purpose, but on accident. hyunwoo, friends to both of them, invited them both out to the coffee shop the two last saw each other—neither knew that the other was coming. when they got there, hyunwoo was nowhere in sight, but instead it was just them. and they knew exactly why he did it. he wanted them to befriend each other once again because he was tired of seeing them both upset from not being friends. needless to say, it was a long and dramatic conversation between them—in which dandan cried a lot and even jaebum was on the verge of crying. in the end, the two were friends once more and got back into the schedule of texting each other every day. she was there for every minute he went through his hardships as an idol, and he was there for her when she was going through her hardships of readying to debut. everything was back to normal: even them hiding their feelings from each other once again. feelings that hadn’t ridden.
relationship :
secretly dating | openly dating | just friends | engaged | married  :  honestly, it’s up to you with what you’d like to do with them. As of now, they’re just good friends who like each other immensely. They flirt with each other constantly, and are always there for each other. an open ending, where people can come up with what they want to happen, would be nice. But, again, it’s your story so you can do what you want with their ending.

everything is so awkward

comments : First of all, can I just say how hard it is to find good quality chinese/taiwanese face claims. Like, I have so many favorite actresses and none of them had tons of pictures/gifs/gallerys. I really wanted to use Wu Qian; because, she's adorable. But she only has like one gif and twelve pics. ugh//sorry for the rant. I hope you like her, I worked really hard, if there's any errors in grammar or spelling please tell me. I'll go back and fix it.
