Recommendations for Korean Drama 2016

Good evening/afternoon to all my unnies/donsaengs,

 

It's been so loonng.

 

I've missed a lot but tomorrow I will be completing two of my hiatus stories. 

 

It's a new year.. :)

 

I've had time to watch and look at some new drama that have left me breathless.

 

I have top five.

 

5) Bromance - A Taiwanese drama, genderbender drama with humour, love and above all, action.

 

4) Oh my Venus- A korean drama that stars SuperJunior M's very own, Henry Lau. If you haven't check it out, do so now.  

 

3) She was Pretty- A korean drama that gives you the vibes of true love in the world of fashion and advetising. Stars our very own Choi Siwon deom SuperJunior.

 

2) Come Back Mister-  A korean drama, with the very y, studious Bi Rain. If you ever wondered what it would be like to die and not go to heaven but get another chance at life but in a new body. This is for you.

 

1) Descendants of the Sun- A korean drama that focuses on the love between a soldier and a doctor, but don't let the leads be the center of your attention, the supporting cast also include Onew form Shinee. 

 

I hope you all enjoy these dramas. Because I love DOTS, I'll include this pic.

I'm so proud of Henry and Siwon for doing such a great job in their recent dramas!!!^^ I hope I see them more often. They're so cute ><

I'm gonna check out Bromance when my sched calms down. I miss watching non-Korean dramas. Lol!

Another drama I really liked is Six Flying Dragons. It's historical and pretty long (50 episodes! geez!), but the plot is so engaging, the acting is superb all around, and the cinematography is amazing, like each ep is a movie in itself. They developed the story and characters so well that I even liked the bad guys! :))

And of course, how can I miss mentioning Reply 1988? The Reply series just keeps getting better and better. I think the best thing about this Reply is that it focuses more on family than just the love story between the leads. I shed a lot of tears here. Very touching!^^

Signal to me is the best and so underrated!
the plot and crime scenes were inspired by real life events along with top quality actors made it a really good drama.
I watched all the dramas you've mentioned and I couldn't seem to get into d.o.t.s and bromance. The actors are really good at their roles but I was interested in the plot/genres T u T

I didn't knew Henry was in Oh My Venus~ I definitely have to watch it!!!
