appearance – Jin Mi has long blonde hair, all the way past her chest, though she usually wears it up. She had braces when she was a teenager, so her teeth are completely straight. She stands taller than a lot of her trainees and is skinny. Her eyes are dark down and her arched eyebrows match her hair.

"Technically, I started training when I was five. My mother pulled out her old keyboard and started teaching me some chords. Officially, I started training back in 2012, and have been at it for four years. Trivia? Hm...Well, I love disney music and tend to sing it anywhere. Even in public...seriously embarassing sometimes..."

Jin mi is very caring by nature. heck, she auditioned and became an jyp rookie simply for her mother. she of course has a love for music, but her main motovation was her mother. she enjoys doing things and being there for other. however, that doesn't mean that she expects them to be greatful. it's the opposite actually. she is pessimistic about a lot of things. she expects to get scolded during training, she doesn't expect a thank you when she does things for someone else. she has worked to try and fix this about herself, but faith in others and faith in circumstance comes with time.
jin mi is an extremely reliable person. while she doesn't expect a thank you, you can definitly count on her for help with something, a phone call if you're down, hell even just showing up to practice on time. if she says she will do something she most definitely will. but be careful. sae di likes to be involved in everything, including your business. she has a bad habit of eavesdropping and being seriesly invasive. private matter? don't talk about it where she can hear it or she will most definitely ask you all about it...loudly...in a crowd of people. seriously, it can get embarrassing.
she also has another layer to her. her flirtatious nature was pointed out to her by a fellow trainee and ever since she has been micro-aware of the fact that she enjoys talking with boys. there are plenty of male staff and though she never looks for a relationship, it won't stop her from flirting even just a little bit. it can get on the other trainee's nerves and she has toned it down since it was pointed out, but only a little...
jin mi works very hard. she wants nothing more than to get on the stage and make her mother and two younger sisters proud. it can be hard for her to talk about though...actually it can be hard for her to talk about any problem concerning herself. when it comes to her own personal probems, she is seriously evasive about it. avoiding those kinds of conversations like the plague. it's of course hypacritical of her since she enjoys other people's business, but she would much rather worry about someone else's than her own.
She is incredibly goofy. she loves making jokes, and making her fellow band members laugh. she looks for any reason to try and make the atmosphere lighter and when things get tough, she will still have a smile on her face. but sometimes, she can get so winded in her work that she gets seriously high strung her jokes can end up a little bit mean spirited.
background – On October 15th, 1994, Jeon Jin Mi was born. she was born in seoul south korea to her two parents. Her father was a business man and her mother was a stay-at-home mom. they didn't live in a mansion or anything like that, but money and space was never an issue for them. Not even when her two twin sisters came into the world. Jin Mi was six at the time.
Her mother taught her music from a young age. her mother had always wanted to be a performer, but after a one night stand, she ended up getting pregnant with Jin Mi and got married at 20 years old. for Jin mi, it was difficult to watch her mother unable to do something she wanted so much, so she decided that she would try and be a performer so maybe her mother could live vicariously through her.
she was as close to her dad as she could be. he worked an awful lot, and to this day, she's not sure if he supported the idea of her music career, but she won't ever know.
she sang and composed when she was little, but unfortunately, music took a back seat after her father passed away. She was eight years old and now her mother was a sing parent of three kids. Jin mi helped out as much as she could, but they ended up moving from their home in seoul to a much smaller one in ulsan. it wasn't all bad, though her mother had to work, so sae di had to help with her sister's. she had to grow up very fast after the loss of her father.
she still found it in her to practice singing and writing music, and once they were old enough, her sister's joined in the fun. their mother wasn't around to join them anymore, but she always left them notes to let the three of them know she was thinking about them.
when Jin mi was sixteen, her mother announced she was getting remarried to a boyfriend she had been seeing for a little bit over a year. she was of course aphrehensive, but the man seemed sweet and willing to take on the responsibility of three kids. and he was. he had a normal job, working at an art gallery and was always there to help her sisters with homework and probably best of all, he made her mother really happy.
she graduated high school, and was making decsions about college when her sisters told her that there was an jyp audition was coming to seoul. she most definitely wanted to try and see if she would even be able to get accepted. many people auditioned, but few actually made it. she talked about it with her mother and step-father and they encouraged it.
driving out to seoul with her mother, the audition was what she expected it would be. crowded, loud, crazy. walking into the audition, she sang some origional lyrics and danced a bit. she was immediately thanked and dismissed and she pretty much figured she hadn't made it.
a few weeks later, she was called and offered a training contract. it was a seriously good day when she told her famiy about the offer. she was moved out to seoul for training an d has been living in a dorm for the last three years.

"I love my family. My father died when I was eight, but my mother got remarried about seven years ago. I have two younger sisters who I miss all the time. I don't get to talk to them often, but we're close. I made a couple good friends during my time training, so I have a couple people in my life besides my family that I care a lot about."

Jeon Sae Di and Ahn Joo Ki | her younger twin sisters | these two are off the walls crazy and funny. Sae Di is a little more girly while Joo Ki has more of a Tom Boy style. These two girls are everything to Jin Mi and she would literally do anything for them. She thinks about them all the time.

trainee life – The start of her trainee life was difficult. The training was in Seoul so she has to commute from her home in Ulsan for the first year. However she was never late to classes. She was absent for lessons or training. And when she was there, she worked hard. She moved out to Seoul during the beginning for her second training year.
She didn't get much contact with her family after she moved. She was working much harder, and was much busier. Without school to think about, all of her time, energy, and efforts went into perfecting her craft. She wasn't as skilled a singer as most, but she had heart and she composed songs quickly like no other. She was applauded by her trainers for her music.
Rhythm and timing was something she had a talent for and she was delighted to find someone else in her company who picked it up quickly. A quick friend she made who ended up being the main vocal of the group she was put into. Eunbyul was easy to talk to and had a good head on her shoulders. It was relieveing for Jin Mi to have someone to talk to about anything, including her growing friendship with a certain male trainee...

love interest – Park Jae Hyung of day6 (Jae)
personality – Jae is outgoing and funny. He has this effortless way about him that attracts people, and he has an ability to simply be around others and that's hard to come by. He has a strong work ethic and isn't afraid to say how hard it is. He believes that everything happens for a reason and cherishes moments that come his way. Though he can be unlucky sometimes, he has a way of bouncing back.
background – He was born in Argentina and when he was 5, his family moved them to California. He placed 6th on the first season of Kpop Star.
relationship – These two met as trainees in JYP Entertainment. I wish I could say they hit it off immediately, but other things were more important at the time. When things calmed down a little for Jin Mi, she made a good friend in her fellow vocalist, but she also got a chance to meet Jae.
They both enjoyed singing and playing intruments, though he was more of a guitarist. She enjoyed having someone else to jam with and made time for the two of them to spend together. Trainee life is difficult because you never know if and/or when you will debut, so their few years together as trainees was a really special time for her.
She for teased for a year about her friendship with Jae and if it was going anywhere, and to her delight it did. The two of them got together officially in the summer of 2015, though she hasn't yet revealed that to the public. Though they do know that Jae has a serious "friendship" with one of the JYP trainees. Though nothing can be official to the public for awhile, it has to be kept completely under wraps for the time being.
Jae got roped into day6 and his debut, so time with Jin Mi became really limited...like no time at all. And as promotions and preperations for her own debut started , it's not easy to keep a relationship strong and she worries that it might crumble.
When these two o get to see each other, craziness ensues. They have a lot in common, from the way they like to joke, to their passion for music and it's so simple and so easy. They are comfortable in each other's prescence and look forward to seeing each other when they can.
