I legit forgot where I got this from, but I just found this whilst sorting through my neverending list of documents on Google Docs and thought that this would be fun to do (I think this was one of those "send me a number and I'll answer the question!" things but there is no way that I am doing that XD). If anyone knows where the hell this is from, feel free to tell me.

 

1. How did you find / get into ASTRO?

Story time!

Let me take you back to 2015, when I used to be active on Vine (this was my greatest achievement during that time okay) and I was pretty much just falling deeper and deeper in love with Seventeen. Some of the accounts that I followed began posting videos of this new predebut group named I-TEEN from Fantiago and I was like, "Hello Venus 'bout to get some younger brothers", and if I remember correctly, everybody began posting edits of their 'Uptown Funk' cover and pretty much I was bombarded with I-TEEN for a while. Or, specifically, a guy named Moon Bin (who I now know as a squishy bean).

Didn't really pay attention to them after I stopped using Vine (aka I deleted the app from my phone because it was taking up too much space) until some of the blogs I follow on Tumblr started getting hyped about their upcoming debut. So I decided to acquaint myself with them about two days before their debut, and realised that I definitely knew Moonbin and somehow Sanha as well. Now their debut MV comes out and I find myself repeating it twenty times that day. It was then that I knew that I was gonna get into ASTRO too deeply for my own good. AND I DID.

EDIT: I got bored whilst watching Lord of the Rings for my Classics homework, so I re-downloaded Vine and Moonbin is still extremely popular over there holy moly.

 

2. How long have you known about ASTRO?

Well, I've known about them since their I-TEEN days, so, maybe about a year now? Or unless this is referring specifically to them as ASTRO, then in that case it's been two months XD.

 

3. Do you have more than one bias? Who?

I have never really experienced the "more than one bias" moment with ASTRO, unless you can call that moment where you have no idea who your bias is a "more than one bias" moment, which in that case, I definitely have. But definitely my bias is this tol and squishy teen with braces that are stronger than my future and limbs longer than my attention span. YOON SANHA PROTECTION SQUAD WHERE U AT?

 

4. Who is your bias wrecker?

The charasmatic rapper that is way too cute for his own good, Park Jinwoo aka Jin Jin. I not only thank my own heart but the Tumblr blog jinjinisasinsin (and her amazing writing. Seriously go and check her out if you haven't already) as well for making me fall for this adorkable human. There seriously isn't any other member that could ever be labelled my bias wrecker because that title was made for him.

 

5. Which member first caught your eye?

Of course it has to be the mini Yunho and every Vine editor's ASTRO bias, Moonbin. Is there seriously anything this guy cannot do? He can sing, dance, probably rap, act, be hilarious, be handsome, be Yunho, be tol, be a perfect brother, and be Drake (you used to call me on my cellphone).

 

6. What was your first impression of ASTRO?

"Well, they're definitely a talented bunch, aren't they?"

 

7. ASTRO OTPs?

I do have a few OTPs, but if I had to choose one, it would definitely be Moonbin x MJ (do they have a ship name? Does anyone else ship them together? Am I alone in all of this?). For some reason, they always seem to create some sort of chaos wherever they are (I know MJ does this anyway, but it's intensified when Moonbin is in the picture) and I find it absolutely adorable.

I need to stop calling rookie groups adorable.

9. Are you younger than any members?

Well, I can tell you who I'm not younger than, and that is Rocky (we make up the Feb '99 squad with Dino from Seventeen) and Sanha. Slowly, and not so surely, becoming part of the noona society in the K-Pop fandom. Still not sure how to feel about that.

 

10. Are you taller than any of the members?

#LOL.

 

11. What was the first song you heard by ASTRO?

"Cat's Eye" / "Puss In Boots" / which one of these translations do I trust the most?

 

12. Have you bought an album from ASTRO?

I think I have.

 

13. Have you had any dreams about ASTRO?

I personally don't think that I have in recent memory. Probably in non-recent memory, though.

EDIT: Yep I dreamed of Moonbin XD

 

14. What concept do you want to see ASTRO do?

Do you know how Seventeen is doing their LOVE&LETTER concept? If they could do something like that, I would be able to die happily. I just never wanna see them do a concept where they are forced to get down on the ground and grind to make people interested in them. They are just not the type of group to do something like that.

 

15.  Which members do you think are attractive?

All of them are attractive af (honestly ASTRO is quite a visual group). But if you wanted me to choose, who I thought was the most attractive, well, then...

 

16. What does ASTRO do that makes you cringe a bit?

Nothing, tbh. Like, there is some things that they do that make me wonder why I decided to invest my time and money into six dorks, but I've never cringed in the slightest. Is that an achievement?

 

17. Which member would you want as a brother?

Need I say more?

 

18. Which member would you want to have as your best friend?

MJ and I would cause trouble wherever we went because he's the guy that makes the greatest chaotic situations, and I'm the girl that just goes along with the flow and might even intensify those situations. In other words, just leave when we arrive XD.

 

19. Which member do you think is the most "boyfriend material"?

They're honestly all such boyfriend material aye.

 

20. What hair colour do you want to see on a certain member?

...how about a redhead Moonbin?

 

21. Which member(s) do you think look better with their hair up?

I'll just leave this here.

 

22. Would you think Sanha is more talented than you?

#YES.

 

23. If all of ASTRO were hanging from a cliff, who would you save first?

I can't believe this is an actual question, but the first member I would choose to save would be Sanha, but not because he is my bias. This is because he has a body that is very long and lanky (and is bound to get even longer and lankier as time goes on) and so I can use his limbs to help the other members escape danger.

 

24. Is ASTRO your favourite rookie group?

At this very moment in time, of course they are. However, there are other rookie groups out there (*cough*keunakeun*coughs*andnctu*coughs*) that are trying to steal my heart and it's not very healthy with all these debuts and comebacks and school happening.

 

25. Do you want ASTRO to win this year's Rookie Award?

#YES.

 

26. FMK with...

I'm only gonna do the eldest three of ASTRO (MJ, Jin Jin and Eunwoo) because otherwise that would just be really weird and I'm not about that weird life when it comes to matters like these.

F: Being friends with MJ would be an epic experience
M: Marrying Jin Jin would be like winning at life
K: Being able to kiss Eunwoo would be a dream come true

...yeah I stayed G-rated.

 

27. What interactions do you want to see ASTRO have with other idol groups?

I don't even mind what interactions they have with any other idols, just as long as they keep on having interactions with KNK (and maybe at least one interaction with Seventeen to make me explode with happiness). Whenever ASTRO and KNK are in the same room together it always seems to be such an enjoyable experience.
