OMG! Can I rant here?

Okay so I just saw the current update to aff and I think this is absolute bull ! (oh sorry, forgot to warn you about language). What the is this?! I don't need to have my freaking karma points taken away to advertise my stories and roleplays on walls! That's not fair at all. What's this that AFF has had a lot of complaints. I'm sorry people of you don't like ads, but a simple remedy is to mention somewhere in your status that you don't want us to advertise. It's not that hard. Or make your wall private to only friends so that non-friends can't post on there. 

Don't give me an excuse that you don't want to ruin your "insightful" quote. You have enough room to post your quote and meniton "no ads pls" at the same time. It's not that hard. True advertisers read these statuses and don't post on your walls. Like, why do we now need to have a 1 karma rule? Does everyone realize that this is for everyone who isn't a friend to you? And half the people probably don't know it's there. It is just automatically enabled on all profiles. Not everyone updates their profiles.

So what do we do now? Buy more karma points? Just sit around and wait until people comment or subscribe to our stories? Half of the new beginning roleplays don't have hardly any karama points. Advertising is the only way to get people to join. Having that personal message on your wall to read, instead of having to scower through tons of rps is much more convient. These messages point out everything you need to know about roleplays and stories. It gives you a great describtions and exciting bullet points and you can decide if you want to go there or not. 

And what is the harm of having these messages on your wall? Nothing. What? So you get a notification that you have a new wall post. And what? Because it's not someone saying "let's be friends" or "thanks for subscribing"? You're gonna cry about that? 

I think it's totally stupid and some people just need to get over themselves. 

If you're not a subscriber to me, but like reading my stories, just know if you want to send me a message, it may cost you 1 karma each time. And you may not think it's a lot, but when you couple that with bidding on ad spots and doing the other few things you can do with karma points, then yeah, it goes by quickly.

This just...sickens me to the point that I'm so furious with AFF I might just disappear for like years. Or make my wall invisable to everyone, just to save people the karma points.

For those of you that are happy this happened, I just have this to say. Grow up and put in your status you don't want ads on your wall so we can get this 1 karma thing taken down. Then we who advertise can do so freely on walls of people who don't mind getting the messages and avoid those that don't like it. Its honestly that simple.
