What is this? Did you know that AFF is celebrating its 7th year of being up and running? Every year we have thought of ways to commemorate this special date by doing various activities.
With that being said, this year we have decided to make it all about you with these 45 questions, interview with yourself, survey, quiz—whichever you wanted to call it haha.
Why are we doing 45 Questions? Because... it's fun. Don't question.
Our theme for this year is the freesia, when given on the 7th Anniversary it upholds trust and faithfulness within a bond. The freesia is also a symbol of friendship. It was named freesia after Friedrich H. T. Freese by fellow botanist Christian P. Ecklon, as a tribute to their friendship.
This day marks seven years of trust, faithfulness and friendship with the site, it's creator and the community. As a thank you to all participants, we leave you with a thank you message from the creator of AFF himself.

I started out on Fanfiction.net and could not for the life of me find BigBangGTop at the time fanfics, so I consulted my wonderful friend Google and the rest is history.
7. How did you end up becoming a member? What made you want to become a member?
So many stories I wanted to read were subscribers only and I realized that I wanted to write BigBang fanfics and post them to better my writing as well as to share with my fellow VIP.

I don't know, I can tell you for sure it was GTop though. That's all I read for the first year in the fandom
11. Who is the first AFFer you talked to?
loveSungmin. I made a blog post a looong time ago about when everyone was having problems with AFF not spacing paragraphs and it turns out I was in the wrong editor.
12. Who was your first friend? Do you still keep in contact?
First friend happened to be someone that subbed to my stories but we've never talked. First friend I talked to was chibidorks who is now my gorgeous girlfriend and we're closing in on a year together~ *^*
13. How many fanfiction/thread(s) do you currently have? How many of them are complete?
I am the WORST at updating but I have 11 stories up and only 2 are finished. In my defense though,3 of them are one shot/drabble collections....but that still leaves me with 6 unfinished, but I'm 900+ words into the next chapter of Tenebrous Twilight
14. How many unique subscribers do you have?
882 unique subs. Now if only I could find the motivation and time to update more frequently...

For over a year now and I'm getting ready to renew my Gold Status. I loooove not having all the ads.
17. Out of a scale of 10, how much do you frequent the site?
10, I visit at least 4 times a day, even if I'm at work. I check on my breaks and my lunch.
18. What is the main activity that you do on AFF?
I read more than anything but I also write too, but much less than I read.
19. How do you spend most of your karma points?
I've given them away to people and to try to get the promoted story auction
20. How would you like to spend you karma points? (E.g. Kpop merchandise.)
If each karma point were a dollar, I'd have gone to see BigBang in NJ or just have a ton of BigBang merchandise. T-shirts, posters, every album I'd have it all~
21. Have you ever uploaded a video in the video gallery?
Not yet. I might if I can get a better video editor
22. Have you entered the chatroom? How was it like for you?
I have but only for a few minutes because the people in it weren't being very nice so I just haven't utilized it since.
23. What is your favourite feature of AFF?
The commenting. When you can comment on people's stories and give them feedback of their writing and their storyline (and visa versa), it allows the author to better their writing or know that they're going in the correct direction for their story. I love it.
24. What is your least favourite feature of AFF? How can it be improved to make it better?
When people buy votes and subscribers from shops and people get their story falsely featured.
25. If you could introduce just one feature on AFF, what would it be and why?
Just want the mobile app out already so I can write easily at work
26. If you could customize the way AFF appears to you, what color would it be? You could just pick one color or a palette.
I'd like the blue to be a different shade, but other than that I like it a lot already.

People that have messaged me to tell me they would read my stories if they were a different pairing. It's quite disrespectful in my opinion.

Met my girlfriend~
39. Have your interests changed on AFF? If yes, in what way? (Eg. Change of OTP, bias group, AFF activity.)
My OTP has changed to the point I can barely stand my first OTP(GTop)
40. There are many communities now on AFF (such as the writing, designing, coding, applyfic, roleplay, reader communities). Is there a community that you aren't part of but want to try one time?
I'm the writing, reading and roleplay communities. I do design my own story covers,so that might be the community I'd join if I could.
41. What is the best thing AFF or being a member of AFF taught you?
Just how many people enjoy the same groups and pairing I do. Its shown me just how close a single musical group can make people
42. What is your greatest contribution to the site so far?
Probably the $70+ I've spent for gold memebership that goes to funding the mobile app~

To get one of my stories featured fairly and UPDATE MORE REGULARLY UGHHHHH

Thank you so much Jason, without you I wouldn't have all the friends I do now all because of the K-Pop community. Writing has been my outlet for years and years since my life turned to hell and since I've gotten into K-Pop, it's been a huge help for my mental health. Thank you so much Jason, SO SO MUCH!

The commenting. When you can comment on people's stories and give them feedback of their writing and their storyline (and visa versa), it allows the author to better their writing or know that they're going in the correct direction for their story. I love it.
