☂ if you visit this particular classroom, it should be just a normal and dull one but if you look carefully. in the left side of the middle section, you will see a girl looking down, hair droops on the table and covering her face. seeing no feet nor legs touching the ground, she looks like she is levitating over the classroom's dusty floor. on the first glance, people could mistaken her as a ghost but that's just baek jeongha meditating on her chair.

☂ throwing her significant usual tranquil gaze away, jeongha is not judgemental like how the others accused her of. in fact, she is the one of the most open-minded people in her class. you could say when someone did something wrong, she will always think the positive side. with the tendency to find logic, her mind will be occupied with 'what if's and habitually make plan b's for everything. jeongha is a person who never up to debates or fights but once she voice out her thoughts , there is no way she will back down. she never wins though since she's not coherent enough to actually go to the point. reasons why she rarely deny other's opinion is actually she's hoping them to help her when she needed one. jeongha is just like a normal teenage girl but because of her slightly buff body which intimidates others, her discipline records suddenly became people’s business. she is also quite playful sometimes. tends to do dorky things with her body and very familiar with slapsticks.

☂ jeongha dislike people who are wishy washy and cannot make up their minds and is vocal about it. she makes it clear that she is irritated or dislikes someone but she will restraint herself hurting their feelings. her politeness never fades eventhough she is in the verge of exploding and that is probably the only reason her classmates admire about her. she might be unfriendly but once she is too attached to something, she will hold it very dearly and will not let them go easily. regardless the rest, jeongha absolutely hates to be tangled with anything. call it responsibilities or romantic relationships, she will try to avoid them at best by simply being nonchalant about it. possibly why she is also quite notorious as being an insolent by her acquaintances. her mother always mention that haeli's best integrity is her perseverance. she knows what she wants and she will do it and will master it, namely parkour (freerunning). after 4 years of experience, she had multiple bruises and scars on her body mainly on her knees and elbows from failing but she'd rather call it scratches of honor. after all, she is one of the best freerunner in town.

  random student #1   : jeongha is a nice person. i was once in a group project with her. not gonna lie, i was scared at first like she looks scary from afar but heh jeongha's just a blueberry tart. she's kinda silly, you know. and her room didn't felt like an occult room at all! it does filled with candles but she said that she collects them as a hobby. i should stop listening to gossips, really. they're just a big fat lie.

  science teacher   : who? jeongha? oh! that brown-haired girl. she doesn't really participate in class that much. she does her homework just fine, her results are okay. she doesn't need much focus from us. i believe she can survive and she already has a platform to go up from, right? she's a sport student from what i've heard. she does parkour, i believe. so overall, she's a good student.

  random student #2   : ew, that ing monk. i have nothing to say about her. she straight up annoys me so much. she's like the perfect potrayal of sugar queen, you have no idea. being all i don't care and supportive and . ! stop being fake, please. you make me want to puke. why can't anyone see, she's a coward like once, she left me alone when we both got in trouble. the teacher didn't even think twice like i'm the only one who got detention. so ing unfair.

☂ although, his attribution is quite adamant, jeongha thoroughly idolizes her father ever since she was a toddler. she thinks her father has strived the greatest achievement in his life and career as she can have anything she wants leave it expensive or rare but only when she stays silent, obey and behave perfectly. everybody knows, her father is particularly emphatic over her. her mother is a librarian and so, she likes to read and talk less, in general. still, she loves her only daughter as much. jeongha loves both of her parents and acknowledge that they are good providers. therefore, they are quite busy with their own careers. that leaves her being alone most of the time. growing up in that situation, she becomes a self-resilient person.

☂ it was then as well, she started to experience sleep paralysis and she gets it quite often lately. it was a hella scary illusions. she could see, hear and feel things that wasn’t real. she did some research and the only way to actually avoid it is either to not sleep or sleep only when she’s extremely exhausted. and so, she started to wander around and spends her time aimlessly loitering every evening to make herself tired. its only a matter of time that she found and became a member parkour team when she was thirteen. she spent her time mostly training, she became attached with it. it might be because her teammates treat her at par. either way, it helped her. her sleeping schedule normalized and she had her beauty sleep peacefully.

character study 

—  jeongha experiences sleep paralysis quite a lot that it became normal for her. even so, she still freaks out when it happens which leads jeongha to no sleep after it and makes her feel all sluggish. but having sleep paralysis is not all bad, it also helps jeongha telling ghost stories. meditating is how she lessen the sleep paralysis from happening. (inspired by atla series)
– she has a phobia over dolls ever since she watched that chucky movie. toy story movies are basically a horror movie for jeongha (she cried from being too scared and had to sleep with music and the lights on). teddy bears and barbies are just a big no-no. they should not exist. they are evil.
– god bless whoever created pasta. it's her favorite meal of all time. she can eat all types of pastas and has an extreme tendency to create bad puns about pasta.
– she has a tendency to collect nice-looking candles. her room probably looks like a ritual room because of the candles but people rarely visits her room so she doesn't really care.
– jeongha likes to write and so in her school, she is good when it comes to literature but the worst in mathematic and science. her teachers claimed that they want 'to give extra marks for beautiful explaination' but they can't.
– she didn't have any goals in life and used to have a thought to not even have a job but after being compared by her relatives (later explained in connections with hyunjoo) she wants to prove to them that people can make money and be succesful with parkouring.
– she has this monotone kind of talking intonations. people are usually confused with her emotion since she sounds bored all the time eventhough she's crazy excited or sad.
– vulgar words are not really her type but she never seem to show any reactions when others use those words meaning that she does not really care about other people using bad words. somehow, at times, jeongha would still use the words if she is extremely sad or angry.
– poops jeongha says :

: people say i look like hyeri so i dressed up like her. *wears a black short hair wig*
: converse? um, we are conversing. what do you- oh you mean my shoes? okay.
: i think i got on the wrong train. (then, get out of it) i can't. they already moving.
: sleep is for the weak? okay, i'm weak.
: excuse me, big blah coming true.
: i wasn't a nephilim. my mom lied to me for twelve years.
: what is this lip ee-nee? is that even a- oh it's a lip tint. okay.
: on this beautiful day, i feel bles- hmph he's at it again.
: so i dipped my cookie into a glass of milk and it drowned. then, i sent another cookie on a rescue mission and it also died from drowning. i held a mini funeral right then.

  BAEK HYUNJOO : cousins : cabinmate : situation (awkward)  

best of allies, the closest of friends. growing up together, they will not do anything without the other when they were kids. they kick people's asses and swear an oath to always have each other's back. they were unstoppable and were called as superman and wonderwoman where of course jeongha is the superman because hyunjoo being more to feminine side (no because jeongha will always be the one to give in). in middle school, their relationship had gotten stronger to the point that they can mindread each other. hyunjoo started to question as to why she feels more connected to jeongha more than her own twin brother. however, eversince they both went to middle school, hyunjoo has always be better at everything and jeongha would always be one level lower than her. at first, it wasn't really a big deal but as they grew up a little more, their relatives started talking. hyunjoo involving herself with cheerleading, in fact being the team's captain whilst jeongha just do parkouring. (parkouring wasn't a thing back then, heh it still isn't now) it was just a matter of time for their relatives to begin compare them both. saying that jeongha needs to be more useful and should be more like hyunjoo. that obviously not supposed to distance them both but it just makes jeongha feels unworthy of being near hyunjoo. she's better at everything after all. hyunjoo does feel that their relationship is getting awkward with shy 'hi's and 'i need to go now's. maybe with this camp they could get back together? and pursue their childhood promises back? or could it just make both of them more awkward?
