BACKGROUND — ❝ How big, how blue, how beautiful ❞ Samir's parents met during a cold December night in St. Petersburg Russia. The Avengers were on a mission following leads on the remaining parts of Hydra. While in town, they were attacked by Hydra agents who dressed as civilians. While, battling some agents, Pietro fell through a dressshop's window. Shattering the glass instantly, while he tried to regain his footing, the Hydra agents were immdiently taken care of by an invincible force. Knowing full well it wasn't his sister, Pietro was greeted by a woman in black and dark blue robes. Smilingly she turned around and left when the rest of the Avengers got there. Surprised and a little daze, Pietro asked about the mysterious women but no one knew who she was. Pietro didn't know who the woman was until a few days later. The day Pietro met the mysterious woman was when the Avengers met up with the informant that gave them the tip about the group of Hydra agents. They were a small group of metahumans and mutants who operated out of Russia. The woman who saved Pietro was Sage or better known as Alia Kumar. After thanking Alia for saving his life, Peitro got to see more of her since her group was often invited back to New York where the Avengers lived. After six years of dating, Pietro asked for Alia's hand in marriage. To say, how Samir's parents met was magic or something out of a fairytale then you are wrong. It was surprising and literally not something Samir's father likes to willingly bring up much to the chargrin of his teammates and his sister.

Putting away their suits and hanging up their capes, the happy newly-wed couple took a break from the superhero business. On the day of love, Alia and Pietro welcomed their baby boy, Samir Maximoff into the world. Samir was actually raised in Sokovia since Peitro wanted to live there and raise his family. The boy actually had a pretty normal life while growing up. Samir's mother, Alia became a kindergarten teacher while his father, Pietro was a council man on the Sokovian board. His older sister Sunita had already started school while Samir was still in diapers. Samir had a great childhood, with a family that love him a lot. A few of his favorite childhood memories  were; getting piggyback rides from his father, decorating for holidays with his mother while singing songs, and most importantly learning how to garden from his sister. It was also during those days that Aleksander hung out with his older sister Sunita more than his parents due to their jobs. Sunita for the longest time was Samir main best friend and basically everything else. Despite the four years difference they did everything together. From gardening, to shopping to night gazing, that was their thing.

When Samir turned twelve, he noticed that he was able to read and run faster than the other kids in school. Which to any other kid would have been weird but not to Samir. It was no secrets to Pietro's kids about their days as heroes. Samir was excited to have powers that were similar to his dad. Too excited to wait, Samir ran all the way home and blabbereing to his parents about his new parents. His parents smiled and asked Samir to show them in their backyard. Excited, the twelve year old demonstrated what he did on the playground, revealing a bright silvery blue after him as he went around the yard. Reluctantly, his father decided to train Samir.

During this time, Samir and his sister had a strained relationship because Sunita was hurt that Samir didn't tell her about his powers. Samir was sad but determined to get back in the good graces of his older sister and tried very hard to talk to her everyday. This happened for a few weeks until, Sunita and Samir talked about it. Soon after, Sunita and Samir were back to being too peas in a pod and even became training buddies due to Sunita discovering her powers, which were similar to her mother's and her grandfather's. 

However, as Samir got older things changed for the Maximoff family. When Samir turned 18, they had gotten a visitor from a woman dressed in red. Which shocked Sunita and Samir, because they had only ever seen this women in photographs that were hung throught out their house. Et per putent intellegam definitiones, usu ex dicam omnium.
