Minzy leaving 2ne1

I'm honestly really happy for Minzy, she will now be able to produce content that YG hasn't allowed her too. But for Bom and Dara I do feel most sorry for. I'm not bashing CL because I love her, but it has been 'CL & 2ne1' for a very long time. YG has destroyed one of the best things he had created which was one of the most dynamic girl groups that didn't rely on beauty and men. 2ne1 was and I hope still will be the middle finger to the ist Korean music industry.  But ever since 'falling in love' it all just became disconnected. I love this group but it isn't a group and now that Minzy has departed it will now be even more about CL and there are now lines to fill and I doubt YG will equally divide them even though Bom and Dara are very capable.

They will never be able to sing 'Fire' or 'Crush' ever again because of the 'M-I-N-Z-Y' lines and those are 2 of the most female empowerment songs they have to their names. I'm just really torn and dissapointed in YG's management, he screwed up with Bom by not protecting her like his precious G-Dragon, Daesung and Seungri. Not allowing Dara to act and excel what she is good at and of course Minzy the most talented member of the group, who deserved a solo more than anyone else, and yes I am a Bom bias. 

But no, lets look forward to CL's no existent American debut and 2 *cough* CL *cough* NE1 comeback in 30 years time. Look forward to it though becuase I doubt Bom and Dara would age.

So agree with this! When I first heard the news, I was so sad and be like "who's gotta protect our bommie?" since mingki and bom are the closest since they were roommates. I somehow disappointed with CL as a leader also, because even if I never wanted to compare her to GD but it was pretty sure that GD was trying to make sure every member got their talent well stationed while CL got herself busy with her hollywood dream and seemed to abandoned the fact that she has other members who also need to share the same spotlight.

So sad but very relieved because I think it's the best for Mingki so that she can achieve higher ground and pursue her dream than being shadowed by someone else's dream. Somehow deep inside I wish Bom would do the same. Both Bom and Mingki have every reason to be happy and if YG can't afford them that then I see no other way than to leave it behind. Praying for our Bommie to get married soon and leaving the agency for focusing on her very own family.

I got to agree with this. YG really big time now. He should take care of Minzy better or at least make sure that she feels still needed. Since the first time I listened to 2NE1, (I came up late in kpop, about 3/4 years already now) it's all about CL. Yeah, then it suddenly change to CL & 2NE1. This group might be strong but YG should see that it was just a persona and he should do something about Bom's scandal and now Minzy. I wonder what will happen soon. 2NE1's song won't be the same anymore form now on. Minzy is such a good dancer I love watching her popping and all. xD
But still, can't fully blame YG, he got tons of things in hands too. I just wish all the best to YG, 2NE1 and Minzy. Perhaps this will make YG learns his lessons perhaps? Even WINNER's Seunghoon already goes verbal about the company lack of management.
