Ju Ah is a honest and straightforward person, she never lies or try to polish her words. She always ends up offending others. But because she doesn't lie, people who knows her put their absolute trust in her and knows she meant no harm in saying things that might offend others. Ju Ah is also awkward when she steps out of her comfort zone (e.g. like meeting new people). She is very quiet but get really noisy when she is excited or extremely tired.

Ju Ah seldoms say no when someone needs her help or needs something from her unless the request is out of line. She is also very real, she will never say something that she doesn't agree with, she rather stay quiet. Ju Ah is the type that she won't get angry easily but when she does, she will be like a volcano errupting. background » Ju Ah was born into a rather mediocre family. She stayed in Singapore for about 16 years. So she is able to speak english, chinese, korean and also singlish. She is pretty close to her parents. She went to Korea when she was 16 to visit her relatives and also explore the country. Then she was scouted in a bookstore by SM's scout. At that time she still didn't have the thought of being a singer, all she wanted is to be a military medical officer back in Singapore. Still she went for auditioned for the sake of fun. She got through the audition and ended up as a trainee. Her parents wasn't glad but Hyuk's parents managed to persuade them. Ju Ah ended up staying in Korea to become a singer. Her parents agreed on 1 condition which is she have to study science related courses instead of arts courses. She happily agreed as she loves science. She will have to return back to Singapore when she turns 21 if she haven't debut yet. But fortunately she is gonna debut this year when she is 20.

She excels in her studies especially in math and science, she had gotten second in school throughout her secondary school years. She always got 2nd in school as she is extremely bad in art. She is plump and nerdy till she completed her major exam in singapore causing her to be bullied by her schoolmates. She almost have no friends in school causing her to be quiet and straightforward in her words to prevent getting hurt by others. She lost 18kg before coming to Korea.

personality » He is very sincere in everything he does. He always put in 100% effort in doing his work. Hongbin is pretty quiet yet cheeky and mischievious. history » They met when Ju Ah visit her dear cousin in Jellyfish entertainment practice room 4 years ago. They showed Ju Ah their new choreography. During 1 part of the song, Hongbin tripped and fell on the ground, spraining his ankle and wrist. Ju Ah attended to him straight. Ju Ah used her first aid skill to treat Hongbin's injury. Their manager then brought Hongbin to the hospital. Hongbin was free to leave the hospital after the treatment. Their manager brought Hongbin to their van with Ju Ah while N and Ravi went to collect his medicine and Leo, Ken and Hyuk went to get some food for dinner. The manager then left to pay for the bills, leaving Hongbin and Ju Ah alone in the van. Although Hongbin was awkward but he initiate a conversation with Ju Ah. The conversation went on smoothly. They began to know more about each other and they even exchanged phone number. From then on, they often converse through calls and messages and then meet ups. On Christmas, Hongbin brought Ju Ah out and confess to her, wanting her to be his girlfriend. Ju Ah agreed. This is actually Ju Ah's first boyfriend.
