Mature | Ariya started puberty at a pretty young age. She knows who she is inside and out. Ari is a friend, sister and mother all in one. She'll take care of you, cook for you, give you advice, listen to your sob stories and cry with you; but most importantly, Ariya will always be there for you. She's a trustworthy and loyal person. 

Good-judge-of-character | Naturally, Ariya really know people (how they are). She can tell how a person is within a few hangouts. That was how she was before. Now, Ariya can tell how a person is just by looking at them from head to toe. There's no fooling her, she can see right through you.

Bubbly | As much as she can be serious, Ariya loves to have fun. She's a really bubbly, friendly person. It's not hard for her to make friends, because she's so open to people. And aside from her mature figure, she's actually really cute. She doesn't see it or think it, but her friends are always telling her that she's cute. But really, she's being cute unconciously; she doesn't even know she's doing it.

Stubborn | Oh yeah. Once she's set her mind on something, there's no going back. You can't do anything to change her mind. Because of her stubborness, she's always getting hurt; whether it's physially, not getting enough sleep, skipping a meal or even being the one to take the blame (most likely for something she didn't do). Ariya just doesn't understand that she doesn't have to follow through with everything she does; and that always putting others first isn't a must.

Sharp-tongued | Honestly, she can be very calm, mature, cute, bubbly and yada yada yada, but she sure has a way with words. She's definitely a good speaker and knows how to use words to her advantage. She's really only like this with people she absolutely does not like and when she's pmsing. But there are times when she does like to "burn" people.

Reserved | Even though, she listens to other peoples problems and gives them advice, Ariya isn't the type to reveal herself too quickly. She's the type to keep things bottled up inside her and not say anything. It's because she knows what that person is going to say when she tells them this/that, so she rather not say anything at all. But when she does say something, she tends to tear up, because that person gives her an answer/response she knew they were gonna say and they end up arguing; she's a very emotional and sensitive person. She'd rather keep everything inside (even though it's not good), but she's gotten a lot better with it, since she's going to become a therapist.

 

 

 

 

Robin Alarie ー Father : 50

Free spirited, humorous, political. Ariya's dad loves her as a parent should. She's a daddy's girl, so it makes sense that they get along very well; she practically followed him everywhere he went. But he doesn't quite like how she keeps her inner thoughts and feelings to herself: he tells her whenever she's about to say something but doesn't.

Chomkwan Arunrat ー Mother : 47

calm, elegant, graceful. Can I say that Ariya's a mommy's girl too? It's possible. They get along really well, because her mom is the one who taught her everything she knows. Though if there's one thing she doesn't like about Ariya, it's that she's so stubborn: she's always telling Ariya to take care of her health and make sure she's eating and resting well.

Hiran Alarie ー Older brother : 27

happy-go-lucky, humorous, protective. They're best friends! As much as they love to pick on each other, they love each other like a brother and sister should. He doesn't like her stubborness the most. He's always on her case about making sure she stays healthy; more so then their mom. 

Min Yuin ー Sister-in-law : 25

shy, quiet, understanding, considerate. She really likes Ariya. She loves how Ariya isn't afraid of anyone, how she forgives and how friendly she is. After the second time or so that they've met each other, Yuin told Ariya how she really admired her.

Namjin Alarie ー Nephew : 5

curious, troublesom, sneaky, humorous, adventurous. Aunty Yaya is the best! She's always playing with the kids and always treats them well. She never yells or hits them (because she doesn't believe that stuff is good for a child) and yet, she's still able to control them. The kids absolutely adore her and almost always ask for her.

Hyera Alarie ー Niece : 3

curious, sort of independent, adventurous. Same as Namjin
 

 

Miura Shohei ー Father : "Father-in-law : 52

friendly, alluring, humorous. At first he wasn't sure how we was gonna like Ariya, but when he finally met her, he really liked her. He thought that Haruma had found a person with a great personality and a good heart. 

Miura (Abe) Hanan ー Mother : "Mother-in-law" : 48

gentle, soft spoken, unjudgemental. She kind of liked Haruma's "girlfriend" since the day he told her he was seeing someone. She has been hoping and waiting a long time for her grandchildren. So when she met Ariya, it was no surprise that she immediately showed her the love and affection that a good mother-in-law would.

Miura Reika ー Sister : "Sister-in-law" : 12

bright, girly, playful, untrusting. At first she doesn't know how to feel about Ariya, but after Ariya starts taking her to different places and gets to know her, she finds herself getting used to Ariya and soon starts regarding her as her sister.

Seo Soohyun  ー Friends : 24

energetic, friendly, awkward. Soohyun and Ariya got close through Hyunjoo. Ariya first became friends with Hyunjoo and later on befriended Soohyun. So, they're not as close as Ariya and Hyunjoo are.

Seo Hyunjoo ー Close Friends : 30

They always meet up when they can. Hyunjoo is like the older sister that Ariya never had (that also applies to Yuin). They go on dates all the time and use it to catch up with each other. Hyunjoo is the first Ariya got to know before she met the rest of the girls. They always seem to refer the other girls as "kids" even though Ariya is the same age as them (maybe it's her maturity? doubt it?).

Ariya's POV | (This will be at some sort of fancy party or wedding or something. Up to you)
When Haruma asked me to be his wife, I was in the middle of drinking champagne; and what do ya know, I choke on it. As I'm having a coughing fit, Haru is nice to come over to my side and pat my back. When I finally stop, I compose myself and ask, "What?". He simply repeats the question and I reply with, "Don't tell me it was love at first sight.". Haru starts laughing and I give him a weird look. As he's trying to calm himself down, "I don't really want to marry you. I need you to pretend that we're a couple.". I'm obviously a little annoyed and blatantly say, "No.". As he's just finishing up his snickering and chuckling, he wipes his tears and asks, "Why not?". I give him a "Hmph!" and answer him with a question, "Why should I? What's your reason?". With a sly grin on his face, "Just because. Why do you need to know?". We kinda kept going on answering each other's questions with questions, so when he finally figured that I wouldn't say "yes" without a reason, he said, "Let's just say I have my reasons.". Of course that's not enough for me, so I replied, "Well if you can't give me a reason, then I can't help you.". That's when he got desperate and brought up the bet; "Fine. I'm not gonna tell you my reason, but let's make a deal.". I was surprised at his desperateness, but let him continue, "If I can get a stranger to ask for a kiss, or just get her to kiss me, then you have to be my wife. If you can get a man to do the same, then you don't have to.". I knew he wouldn't give up on me being his wife, so the bet was the only thing that could get me out of if, "Alright. Deal." we shook on it and Haru was the first to go. He, of course had no trouble with getting an attractive female to kiss him, but me on the other hand, I was holding onto the hope that the guy would just ask for a kiss and I could say no. That didn't happen the way I planned it. The guy, although very handsome, didn't ask for a kiss; he went right for it. I was hoping this wouldn't happen and it didn't. I insinctively blocked his lips with my hands and pushed him away. He wasn't too happy with that and tried forcing himself on me, but before he could lay his lips on mine, Haru came over and stopped him: "What are you doing to my wife?" he asked in a rather calm, yet, intimidating voice. The man took a step back to look Haru up and down, "Your wife, eh? Well I don't see a ring, so why don't you just look for another puppet to control?" his words sent shivers up my spine; I had picked the wrong man for this bet. With a smiling "hmph", Haru sent his fist right across the man's jaw, "Maybe that'll teach you not to mess with another man's woman." With that, he grabbed my wrist and dragged me out to the balcony. As I struggled to free myself, "Let go!", "Let go of me!" and "I said, let go of me!" was all I could say for the time being. When we got outside to the balcony, he let go of my wrist and sent me flying towards the railing. As I regained my balance, I turned myself towards him, "What was that?!". He simply shrugged, "You said to let go.". As I pushed my hair out of my face, "I meant, what was that in there?!" I pointed to the direction we had come. He turned his head, then looked back at me, "You lost. You refused to let him kiss you.". I was in disbelief, "That was not a part of the deal!". He simply shrugged, "Did he ask to kiss you?". I was about to rebuke him, but he was right; that guy didn't ask and I did refuse. As I ran my hand through my hair, Haru started walking towards me. I naturally walked back, but he didn't stop, so I ended up with my back facing the railing. As I was about to move to the side, Haru put both his hands on either side of the railing and trapped me, "I guess that means I win.". He gave me another one of his sly grins, "It's a pleasure to be working with you. . .wifey." I was really frustrated. I was so close to not having to be his wife and I let it slip through my fingers.

Negative | Haruma is really a lot like Ariya; especially with their negative traits. That makes them pick fights with each other. Really, Haruma can really "serve" and "burn" whoever he pleases. Honestly, he and Ariya are on the same page with that; they always alternate who wins those "serving" and "burning" battles. Also like Ariya, Haruma is really stubborn. As much as Ariya nagged and pestered him to tell her why he needs her as a "wife", he never gave in. That was also a result of him being reserved. He didn't want and didn't need her knowing how he felt on the inside. It was also so that he wouldn't get close to Ariya and start developing any unwanted feelings for her. Both of their sharp-tonguedness, stubborness and reservedness made them realize their feelings all too late.

Positive | At first, Haruma my seem like someone cold and rude, but when you get to know him, he's a real gentleman. He's caring; as in, he not only cares about you, he cares for you. He will worry for you, he will cook for you, he'll even take care of you when you're sick. And with his sharp eyes, Ariya can never get away with her stubborness. He knows all too well when she's not feeling well and needs to stop being stubborn. But when it comes to lying, it's a little different with her; she's just a good lier; her face when she lies and doesn't lie are the exact same. Anyways, it's a good thing that he was some humor in him, because when they bicker one of them is bound to feel down; so all he's got to do is make her laugh (and all she's got to do is be herself; because apparently she's "cute"). But even though they bicker (which isn't a lot, because they tag team when they're "serving" someone), they get along a lot better.

 

THE ENDING 

When Ariya moved out of his house, he told her to just stick with the act until he told his parents that they were over. In the end, he continued to find himself hesitating to call them. So he went to the other guys and asked what he should do. They all said that he should just ask Ariya to marry him; to really marry him. He wasn't so sure of that solution, so he went to the cafe to talk to Hyunjoo. There, she really talked some sense into him — with the help of the other girls and Ariya's brother and sister-in-law. After that, he plucked up his courage and felt confident in his next move. When they were still pretending to be a couple, Haruma had gotten a letter of invitation to be a guest speaker at Ariya's school and accepted it. Then, he had suprised Ariya and this time, he would again. He had gotten another invitation to guest speak at her school and he took this as a sign; that she was still holding on; that she still loved him. On the day of the lecture — of course — he started getting butterflies, but that didn't change the fact that he was going to get Ariya back. When he had been annouced and went out onto the platform, he looked into the crowd and saw Ariya in the same exact seat she had been in the last time he was there. She was surprised, of course, and he knew it. After his lecture, he wasn't surprised to see Ariya leave for her next class. It was perfect. With the help of Ariya's brother, sister-in-law, Hyunjoo, the other girls and guys, Haru was able to set up his surprise. After her class, Ariya would've head home, but she found Haruma at the entrance and was surprised to find him still at her school. He told her that they needed to talk, so she figured that he had finally told his parents that they were over. She didn't question when he offered to talk in private, so she entered his car without hesitation. Even though it was a little weird, Ariya didn't ask why he had taken them to the flower garden where they took their wedding photos nor why they were walking towards the gazebo(or pavilion) where her favorite picture of them was taken. She just simply asked, "So, I'm guessing you told your parents?". And he simply replied, "Yeah.". She wasn't surprised; she figured he would've told them by now. Then she asked, "Then, is there anything else you needed to talk about?". Haruma just gave her a sly grin and continued leading her towards the gazebo/pavilion. When they had reached the path that lead up to it, she could only see the flowers surrounding the gazebo/pavilion. As they got closer, Ariya noticed something — no — some things and got confused. As they approached the objects, she could finally see what they were; easels with their "wedding pictures" and some of their normal pictures laying on top, on either side of the pathway. As she saw them, she felt tears well in her eyes. The pictures continued on in the gazebo/pavilion only this time, they were hanging. As Ariya silently cried to herself, she turned to Haruma and asked, "What is this?". He gave her a soft smile and took her hands in his. He gave her a little speach about how everything started, the things they went through, how they went through it all together and how they were gonna finish it together. He even told her how both their parents know about the fake marriage. She was shocked that he told, not only his parents, but her parents as well. And before he got on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage, he said that he already asked her parents. That's when he got on his knee and asked her to marry him; for real.

 

 

/scoffs/ Honestly, he's the one who asked me to marry him. How did I know whether he already loved me or not? Though, he did clarify that after he made the rule. . . /snaps out of her daze/ Anyways. I didn't really think much of it. At first it was like, " We just met and I don't know anything about you, so how am I gonna fall in love with you?". But after I moved in with him — "moved in" — I started thinking " Wait. What happens when there is one man and one woman sleeping under the same roof with no one else around?". (You give her a weird look) Of course you know. Like. You know! /shyly taps her two index fingers/ That thing. . . /blushes/ (You give her another weird look and chuckle) Well, what else was I supposed to think?! I'm still a , you know. And besides, it wasn't until after I started having feelings towards him that I became concerned with that rule. /still blushing from her comment earlier/ (you continue chuckling) Le-let's just move on to the next question. /looks away sulkyly and sort of embarassed/

Oh, where to start! /chuckles/ Um. Well. I think it was all kind of hard in general. Like, having to convince everyone that we were a real couple and trying not to have feelings for him; it was all pretty hard. I honestly felt horrible for his parents: I was pretending to be their "daughter-in-law", for goodness sake. I really truly feel guilty; and I still do. And then, there was the matter of "not falling in love with him". /sighs/ It was ridiculous. I really really really really tried not to mess with him, to not get too close to him; but obviously that didn't work. Especially since I knew there was something he wasn't telling me. /sighs/ I just couldn't handle it. My therapist genes just kicked in and sooner than later, I found out about his secret. At that time I was stupid to try and break his wall; to try to get him to tell me; but now, I guess it was worth it. /shyly smiles to herself/ And then, there were those times when he bossed me around and played jokes on me. Hmph. Don't worry. I got him back.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm /stops and pauses for the slightest second/ Hard to tell. But I guess. . .when I started denying that I liked him? I mean, I probably started liking him before that, but it wasn't until later that I actually realized it. I was telling myself that I didn't like him and I guess that was just me not being able to accept that I had actually developed feelings for him. And that was like /thinks intently for 10 seconds/ ummmmmmmmmmm. . .Let me think. . . . . . . . . . . . . Oh! I remember! It was when we had one of our regular gatherings with Hyunjoo. She was teasing us about how we were living with "men" and not "boys" and how we probably already had feelings for the guys. And when all the girls left and it was just Hyunjoo and I, she asked me how Haruma was and how we was treating me. When I told her, I realized that he had actually treated me really nicely and that he wouldn't be a bad guy to fall in love with.That's when I started realizing it and started denying my feelings. If you wanna know when I finally accepted my feelings for him, I guess it was when we went out dress and tux hunting. . . . .When I had put on that dress, it was like — I felt like I could actually get married to him. I felt like I stopped pretending to be his wife a long time ago.

Of course I was mortified. When I had finally accepted the fact that I had feelings for him, that's when I lost him; that's when I lost to him. I lost to him twice; first our bet and then his rule. /deep sigh/ I was really heartbroken. I had finally told him how I felt about him and he told me that I was free and he was letting me go; that I didn't have to go through it anymore. I mean — of course I was relieved that we didn't have to pretend anymore, but I was also heartbroken, because I thought that meant that he didn't have any feelings towards me. I felt regretful that I had accepted my feelings too late. I felt hopeless.
