TAGALOG CLASS 101

Hi!! :D do you remember the first Tagalog words I taught here in AFF? Well this is the second part. Since I'm really bored right now let's have some Tagalog class and I hope it will help those people who wants to learn other coutry's language :D

Let's start with the basic. How Filipinos greet each other.

1. Magandang Umaga or Good morning ("Magandang Umaga po" is the formal way of saying it :) )

     Ma-gan-dang U-ma-ga

The 'Ma' will be prononounced as 'Ma' in 'Man'.

    'Gan' as 'Gun'

    'dang' as 'dang'

    'U' in 'Ultra'

2. Magandang Tanghali (it's complicated here because we use this greeting at 12pm.. .this greeting is available from 10am to 1pm)

     Ma-gan-dang Tang-ha-li

'Tang' will be pronounces as 'Tang in Tango'

     'Ha' in Hallyu

     'Li as you pronounce Lee'

3. Magandang Hapon or Good afternoon

     Ma-gan-dang Ha-pon

     'Ha in Hallyu'

'Pon as you pronounce Pawn in Pawnshop'

4. Magandang Gabi or Good evening

     Ma-gan-dang Ga-bi

    'Ga in Garage'

'Bi as you pronounce Bi in Billionare'

So that's it :D I hope it helps you somehow XD

and one more thing.. .if you want it to be more formal or make it more respectful, you can add "Po" at the very end of the sentence

EX: Magandang Tanghali po
