Ever since she was an infant, she has wanted to be on stage just for the sake of having fans and the fact that they you love what you do. In order to acheive this, she practises hard to fight her way to an idol and stand on stage with fans cheering on for her. Even if she has to give up some of the things she loves (such as not eating ice cream while on a diet) she will persevere and do what she has to do. However, not only is she determined to have fans cheering for her in a sucessful group, she can be passionate about doing other things too such as completing a request from someone. background : she had a rich father who is a general manger of a huge and sucessful grand hotel in incheon, a loving and careing mother and an older sister who was the lab rat of the family. since she is from seoul and even though incheon isn't far away at all, she still rarely saw her father during the day and was raised up mainly by her mother (working hours were really long). growing up, hyeryeong's sister was the families experiement. since her mother wanted the best for hyeryeong, she always got hyeyoung (<-- sister's name) to try it out first and see if it is any good or not. throughout their childhood there were many things that went right and wrong. some of the wrongs were hyeyoung doing ballet, scouts and even woodworks and therefore hyeryeong never got to try those things, no matter how much she wanted to.

TRAINEE life : her experience in starship was difficult but she definitely will never regret it. it gave her a learning experience and let her learn more about herself. although they didnt her rap as well as big hit and didnt focus on hip hop alot, which was her liking, she still managed to pass. after her year and a bit break from leaving startship she joined big hit after getting her parents approval. at first she was intimidated by how high the standards were set by some of the trainees there. she met minah and was looked up to the trainee sunbae. she asked minah for rap tips and although she excelled in dance, she stayed up to late hours to improve her rap, flow, rhythym and everything that could pull her rapping talent up. she looked up to minah alot and is glad that she could have trained with her.
