APPEARANCE the literal definition of a tomboy, it's not difficult to spot her in a crowd of youngsters. her hair is flamed with the color of magneta and shortened in a bobcut. her skin ripened with freckles all around her shoulders and the tan from cali's sunlight that makes her stand out more in the crowd of vampires. her lips are always stained with a rosy color and eyes packed with black eye-shadow and eyeliner. it's so easy to mistaken her as a punk rockstar; she's gotten used to the multiple commentaries of her average looks and abnormal sightings. her teeth are straight with the help of braces which has been removed long ago and eyes in a light brown color from her mother's genetics. her nails are always firmly sharpened with the help of her mother's and sometimes chipped of black paint which she stubbornly puts on and removes right after with dissatisfaction.
another key point to why people consider her as a boy is because she is flat-chested as a board. she doesn't complain however, often saying 'at least i don't have s getting in my way with things' which people do complain as weird, but it doesn't irritate her as much. she's definitely gifted with long legs that was inherited from her korean grandmother. her legs are often decorated with bruises and scratches from outside activities and skin tainted with pen markings which were created by her. her face features definitely come from her father's, a good quality to why some boys have a crush on her (for some odd reason) and she often grows overconfident and says that she's kinda pretty.
STYLE okay, nikita legit has no sense of fashion whatsoever. she wears what she finds comfortable and doesn't really give a care to other people's opinions. her wardrobe is filled of dark clothing, by that it means black, nothing else and thousands of sweatpants, sweaters, and graphic tees. there is legit no dress or skirt in sight in the jungle of clothes. she probably has 3 drawers of flannels and black jeans, plus a pile of chokers lying somewhere deep inside her closet. her collection of accessories are just her band bracelets and personal rings that was gifted to her. people describe her as 'a person with no sense of direction'. she tends to wear the wrong category of clothing during occasions. for example, she might wear a big hoodie with sweatpants to a wedding, you see? as much as people would comment and complain, she gives no s as stated before.

just imagine a rockstar, you know; like one of those female rockstars with many piercings and tattoos. that's basically her, but just a really more innocent version of it. she's rebellious, show no care in any result, and could never stop her doings. a painful thunderstorm as well, rumbles and tumbles which she would enjoy doing everyday. she acts before she thinks and prefers to be on top, plus lack of entertainment causes her to shrink.
however, good traits bloom when she shows care in some way. she's determined to finish her tasks, even if she's often lazy and refuses to do large activities and acts together with others. she's always with a positive mind and tries her best to keep the mood so others don't turn into a storm.
BACKGROUND
▵ oh, here's another kid. funny, nikita's parents thought she was a mistake at first because they wanted a son. her parents may have not want her entirely, but they knew that they can't just sent her to the orphanage for being a female. in conclusion, they decided to keep her along with her older brother. of course, her brother wasn't completely into the idea of having a younger sister. however, he was merely 3 years older, so he has no experience whatsoever on what reality is. their parents simply told the brother to endure it until they're older, but he refused to do so and went with his own ways.
▵ city freak, right? self-explanatory, nikita lives in new york city. nice, right? well, not really. nobody liked her for how she is. she's different -- completely different from the other girls who liked barbie and braided each other's hair like little princesses. she was an upbeat girl, the one who is always in the sandbox and making a mess in it. her teacher, sometimes, complained about her actions, but her parents gave her discipline; however, it eventually shattered and wandered off somewhere else of the face of earth. her brother then started to criticize her outrageous actions. it became common to her to the part where she answers him whenever he calls her 'stupid'. unlikely, her parents are pretty similar to her brother's attitude towards her, but she completely ignored their attitudes and doesn't give two s about.
▵ sighs, what a troublemaker. in fact that her parents aren't able to manage the girl well, nikita barely used her intelligence and did whatever she wanted. she ditched, very uncalled for, and every teacher, surrounding her, had a deep hatred for the poor girl. she barely had any friends and there were always a sting in children's eyes whenever they focus on the rebel of a pain. as the tolerance reached its limits, the girl was eventually expelled and his parents gave her a huge mount of disappointment. what's her answer? that's right, she doesn't give a , like at all. at once she was removed from the roster, her father forced the family to go to south korea, make a living there as he worked his off. her brother refused greatly, but eventually agreed along with their father as he does not want to piss the old man.
▵ i didn't get kicked out, i chose to leave. lol. once they arrived at the airport, the air was less flithy as it was back in new york (no offense to those who lives there, this is just an exaggeration). in and out, she goes and met up with one of her parents. she tried tasting korean food, but her taste buds were so used to american food -- she had a hard time digesting it. however, she eventually started liking the foods and began eating it like a normal korean would. she was enrolled in a normal highschool down the block from her neighborhood. her brother had already graduated in high school and she was left to her last few years of education, ongoing to college. she did attend school like she was told to instead of ditching, but she wasn't exactly popular as she seems to always get in trouble. her parents weren't surprised, but she suddenly began to talk back at them. once she reached 16, she was kicked out of the household by her parents.

a rather odd fact in nikita's life. wonho is her cousin whom everyone consumes with hatred and is always criticizing nikita for being related to a guy like him. yes, she understands the fact that he's a terrible leader and every single girl falls for his looks rather than his personality in general, but that's the real fact to why she enjoys talking to this darn ol' boy. he's really something, nikita admits, and that's why she personally likes talking to him. however, she is rather surprised that ashton would give her a chance when he knows that nikita does have a positive relationship between wonho and her, which may results to drama cases and etc. but ashton is a kind one, though chanmi does have a few contradictions.

siblings of satan, the rightful duo of the im family, are chosen to be competitive bulls who doesn't know when to stop or how. nikita insults him, he insults back with another terrible one that includes a kickass pun (they hurt sometimes). he finds her super dumb, but doesn't really show the feeling; however, everyone knows his hatred towards his magenta-haired sister of a gun. you're probably wondering why talon still talks to nikita. her brother moved out a few weeks after they moved to south korea. he heard about how nikita got kicked out and started visiting her at taehyung's dorm as a regular thing. he may call her stupid from the start of her birth, but she is still his sister and can't stand losing her over something stupid.

junsun, the first person who would pop in your mind once nikita mentions 'friend'. she always seems to hang out with him only, often asking for help on homework and aiming pieces of food into his mouth. she uses him as a punch bag and is always ranting about her life to him (he probably knows every secret she has). this boy is basically her right-hand man and is usually the first person she goes to whenever she has a problem with something. practically, he's her only friend and the only person she can really trust along with taehyung.

it's pretty obvious to why nikita would be friends with ashton. she always mocks and insults him for many certain reasons, but that's the weird part in the friendship of theirs. in nikita's perspective, he's just a nerd who only seems to talk about pokemon, while ashton thinks she's just a bully who doesn't know the reality of what pokemon is. she may bully him frequently, but she does consider him as a close friend- just not as close as her with junsun and taehyung.

acquaintances, period. nikita barely has any history with chanmi, resulting to them rarely talking and not knowing what to talk about. the only time they see each other is during band practices and their conversations are just band, band, band, nothing else. of course, nikita would love to be closer with the female instead of simply titling her as 'the girl who hangs out with ashton', but half of the time, there's always an awkward atmosphere between the both of them. however, both of them do have mutuals and somewhat have a chance of being closer to one another.

▵ who needs grades? barely passing her class, she's taking honors -- simply because she's smart enough to do so. she's just hanging in the 70s and isn't able to raise her grades any higher since she's too 'lazy' to finish or turn in most of her work. taehyung and junsun does pressure her onto raising it, but she really doesn't listen.
▵ if you touch me, your finger is breaking. pretty self-explanatory already, she dislikes being touched. mostly the fact that she feels rather 'violated' whenever someone does, so nobody tries to. taehyung had tried hugging her, but he ended up in the hospital with a broken bone.
▵ i'll be the world's #1 burger king employee. her future is currently undetermined. she doesn't have the world's best grades, so it's either she goes to a community college, get blessed and go to a uni., or not go to college at all.
▵ the reality of her hair. dying her hair wasn't one of her intentions. it was a small dare created by her only brother and she had to do it, or else she had to do the laundry for the whole month. she did the dare, but she was too lazy to bring back her natural hair, so she left it there until it fades away.
▵ does your parents not wash your mouth with soap? is dirty. no, not in that kind of way. is sinned with cursed words that you can't even think of. 'why the ing chicken are you doing this ing , what the actual is this. what the ing heck?' it's just bad, honestly.
▵ i'm a girl with stunts. okay, no. her stunts are terrible. she ends up doing 6 backflips and crash onto the nearby fence, but she still publishes the videos online for variety. junsun always tell her to stop, but she never listens.
▵ couch potato, is that an occupation? she's lazy, so lazy that you won't be able to drag anywhere because she glued herself on her bed or couch. it's sad. she basically sleeps during the morning and stays awake during the night, sometimes even ditching class to go nap in an empty room. nobody really stops her unless they want a broken bone.

EXPERIENCE
▵ bass guitar. an instrument that she highly takes interest in, it's just something she has as a hobby and likes to use as a 'talent'. nobody exactly gave her the idea of it. she simply found the instrument at a local music shop when she was merely 13 and decided to learn it for fun, since she had nothing to do in her life. she self-taught by looking at youtube videos and learning ways on how to play it. her brother caught her doing so and gave her tips/advice on how to get better at it.
▵ piano. another instrument which she learned since childhood. her mother specifcally told her to learn piano out of all the other ideas that she had in mind. nikita might had not enjoyed learning it fully, but she did somewhat appreciate her mother's efforts on giving her steps on how to press onto the right keys. nikita doesn't exactly take much pride in her experience with a piano, so she barely touches the 88-key digital keyboard she keeps in her beloved room.
▵ clarinet. in middle school, you had to choose an instrument to learn to join the band, so nikita chose the clarinet. with the type of hands that she's stuck with, a clarinet isn't exactly her best fit. she isn't procclaimed the best clarinet player in her little band during junior high, but she manages to play without breaking a reed in two minutes. she basically learned the instrument for 3 years and ended up throwing the woodwind in her closet with no need of it anymore.
▵ drumset. from past observations, her brother specifically told her that she should be a 'drumset player'. she was weirded out at first, since her brother rarely talked to her about anything beside food and school, but she chose the path and her brother helped her by teaching her what to step on and what not to hit on. she later switched from clarinet player to drumline, but that idea was paused when she was kicked off the roster and moved to south korea.

LAZY MCDONALD'S WORKER
taehyung dislikes work, why? he simply values fun more than anything. it's just surprising on to how he managed to get into one of the top universities in korea, plus gaining the title of a 'friend' with nikita's brother. he is completely disorganized; the vision is already seen once you enter his apartment of stinking hell. he doesn't know what a schedule is either, it's either procrastination or he just crams everything in one go and hopes that it'll work. half of the time, it really doesn't.
at times, his usual bright self always covers up his indefinite flaws. his mind only cloud with happy thoughts, always thinking of some creative way to have fun while he's supposed to be studying for an important exam. however, he is quick-witted enough to figure all of the questions on his paper and pass by merely a point or sometimes even reaching a 100 on his test. honestly, everyone just thinks that he cheats on every test, but he's just smart enough for his classes.
FIRST MEETING
their meet and greet wasn't that long ago, according to the both of them. at the blooming age of 16, nikita chose to disobey her parents rather than listen to them like any other child would. she refused to follow their petty rules and was eventually removed under the household of the im's. of course, nikita has nowhere to go with only 50 cents of pocket change and she doesn't have a friend who's willing to feed and shelter her. she began roaming around aimlessly, no shelter of any sorts. she knew that she'll become homeless, like those dusty men who goes around with a sign that reads 'homeless, need money'. she searched and wasn't able to find any place to stay, leaving her with hopeless options; she chose the park as her destination and kinda grabbed some random newspaper roll that was located on the floor and wrapped her body around it. taehyung found her lying on the bench like a rotten peach and shook her awake, causing her to kick him in the crotch and he needed a few minutes before he was able to talk again. pretty much, he was one of her brother's few friends that she had forgetten and feels really guilty about. (i mean, she forgot who he was for hours until he said the words 'emo kid.') he eventually took her in and relocated in his small apartment that smelt like sweat and dirty laundry that has been out for 3 months. obviously, she had nowhere to live, so it's either go big or go home.

THEIR STORY
from the first step inside the little apartment of taehyung's, nikita helped him clean up the place and it was pretty much a brand new start of a friendship or an awkward strangers-living-together-getaway. nikita wasn't at all interested in forming any other interactions except 'hey' and 'cya,' but taehyung was just something different- she can't even explain it in words. their conversation were always little words, but sometimes taehyung pressuring her into a longer one which she always managed to get out of. she ignored him everytime he tried to drag her into something or even does something for her. she basically doesn't appreciate the little things he does for her in the beginning.

nick, nick, nick! the same words would always repeat now. taehyung got a hang of her, simply calling for her in everything he does. she became annoyed of it, why? because he's just annoying as and she's always bothered by his repulsive and constant calls for her. however, she started talking to him more, asking where he worked and what he does, so from the observations and investigating that she has done, he's a mcdonalds's worker and is a university student with a scholarship for swimming. that's pretty much it, nothing exciting from her perspective. therefore, she used the advantage by continuously asking him for free drinks at mcd's and help on her homework.

of course, asking him for help wasn't simple at all. their conversations ended up being bickers and deals that ended up with nikita not paying back because of how ty his writing is (chicken scratches, doctor writing, black magic, wdf is he writing tbh). taehyung was the one who's starting to get annoyed by her now, to the point where he wanted the manager to ban her from entering his workplace because of how she kept bugging him about free food and drinks (he caught her pouring soda in a free water cup before). he keeps complaining, but nothing happens, of course his co-workers pretended to care. he continues to make remarks, from her playing her ty bass at 2 in the morning to how she keeps leaving her bags of chips under the couch because of how much of a lazyass she is.

after staying in the hole of boy sweat and messy laundry all over, she realized that she had an interior crush for the boy, but didn't notice until months. she was embarrassed of course, but she never said anything about it since she knew that it'll make the atmosphere even more weird if he finds out that the 'girl who hates him as much as he hates her' likes him in some way that's impossible to find out. she knew that he's too stupid to find out about her crush, so she decided to continue the continuous bickering and arguments they have every day.
STATUS basically really close friends who annoy each other everyday, but it's pretty one-sided since nikita has a crush on him and he doesn't know about it.

"hold on, let me finish this-" the female quickly finished the purchased meatbun from the nearby bakery; stuffing the food and almost choking on it. she coughed loudly to swallow it whole and sighed once it went down. "anywho- what were we talking about?" the question was going to be repeated again, but she interrupted once she remembered it. "oh yeah, deulxnet. i heard about it from ashton and his other girl friend, i was just, 'oh, why not?' there were a lot of girls talking about it too, so i was really determined."

"honestly, no.. but a lot of strangers recommended that i should join one since i have the presense of a band member and knows how to play instruments, which isn't really brand new because look at all the other band kids who know how to play extremely well." she nodded at her compliment and continued on. "but i guess i could use my talent. my parents encouraged me to make a career out of it, i think."
