Yay, my first blog! 

...Okay, it's not really that exciting. ._.

Anyway - This is where I answer some questions so you guys can learn a bit about me. 

1. What is your name and does it mean anything?
   • My name's Crystal, but I don't really think it means anything.  Although, when my mom was pregnant with me, my parents wanted a boy, and they settled on the name Christopher.  Then they found out I was a girl, and they named me Crystal.  Three years after I was born, however, they did get a Christopher. 
2. How long have you known your best friend?
   • I met him in seventh grade, so I'd say it's been a little over six years.
3. What position do you normally sleep in?
   • I try to sleep on my side, but I always end up on my stomach.  Usually with one or both arms crossed underneath me and my head turned to the side.
4. Were you a part of any "clique" in high school?
   • Nope.  I preferred not to be.
5. Who was your favorite teacher in high school?
   • I didn't really have a favorite.
6. Do you wish to travel a lot?
   • YES.  Though I've lived in 5 different states, I've never been out of the country.  There are a ton of places I want to see.
7. Did you participate in any sports in high school?
   • Not unless you count the ones required in P.E.  I messed up my foot when I was about 10 or 11, so I couldn't play any sports even if I wanted to.
8. Show a sample of your handwriting.
   • (I'll have to do this later)
9. Have you ever given blood?
   • No.  I don't like needles.
10. Do you like the way you grew up?
    • Not entirely, but it had its moments.
11. Do you like your siblings?  Why or why not?
    • They can be annoying most of the time, but I wouldn't trade them for anything/anyone else in the world.
12. How did you meet your best friend and why did you become friends?
    • It was the second or third day after school started.  These girls came up to me and pointed to a boy that was in my class and told me he had a crush on me.  Of course, me being me (added to the fact that I didn't really know anybody), I didn't think they were being serious.  They tried to set us up, but I said no.  He and I have been friends ever since.  To this day, I'm still unsure whether or not he actually did have a crush on me that day.
13. Name one movie that made you cry.
    • Artificial Intelligence.  I watched it twice, and cried both times.
14. Do you prefer to read poetry, write poetry, or neither?
    • I don't really read a lot of poetry, but I'd rather read it than write it.
15. Things about someone you find attractive?
    • Intelligence
    • I like tall guys
    • Funny guys are always good
    • Any musical talent is a bonus
    • Definitely the gentlemanly type
16. What song are you currently listening to?
    • Wa (와) - AKZ
17. Have you ever broken a bone?  If so, how?
    • Nope.  No broken bones.
18. A random memory from your childhood:
    • Nothing comes to mind.
19. Where did you grow up?
    • Mostly in a small town in the boot of the US, but I've moved around a lot.
20. What was the last thing you watched on TV?
    • How The Universe Works
21. Do you think you'd make a good parent?
    • I can't say for sure, because half of me is like "Oh, I love kids!" and the other half is like "Ugh. Kids."
22. Would you like to meet your AFF friends in person?
    • I've always been iffy about meeting new people (especially online), but I'd love to meet you guys.
23. What was the last dream you remember having?
    • It was about these two people in some of my classes (possibly dating, possibly related - I'm not sure).  They don't really talk to anyone but each other, but in my dream, they were talking to me, and we were sort of friends.
24. When is your birthday?
    • February 24th.  I'll be twenty. :)
25. How many pillows do you sleep with?
    • Two.  I like to keep my head elevated, and it hurts my neck if I only use one.
26. Do you wear glasses?  If so, how long have you been wearing glasses?
    • Yes; I've been wearing them since 4th grade.
27. What color is your hair?
    • Red
28. Name 5 facts about your appearance:
    • red hair (as stated above)
    • brown eyes
    • very, very light freckles
    • 5'6"
    • kinda curvy, I guess
29. What is your favorite soda?
    • I don't really have a favorite, but I'll drink anything that isn't grape or orange.
30. What is a strange talent that you have?
    • I have this whistle that I do, where I whistle through saliva in the back of my throat.  I've had people tell me it sounds like a bird, and some have said it sounds like a cricket.
31. How's the weather right now?
    • ...frigid.  It's recently rained, but it's getting warmer.
32. Why did one of your friendships end?
    • I'm horrible with keeping connections...
33. Who do you miss right now?
    • A lot of people that I'll neer be able to see again.
34. Why did your last relationship end?
    • I never really had one.
35. Are you still figuring out who you are?
    • Yes.  I don't think I'll ever be able to figure it out.
36. Have you ever been admitted to the hospital?  Why?
    • Yes.  It wasn't anything serious (or at least I don't think so), but when I was about 10 or 11, I was running outside barefoot and I stepped on a huge piece of glass.  I had to get 14 stitches (the first and only time).  I'd damaged a nerve in my litle toe, and everything to the right of the scar still feels weird.  Because of that incident, my right foot is way more sensitive than my left foot.
37. What is your favorite restaurant?
    • I don't have a favorite.  I rarely go out to eat anyway.
38. What is one word that you always seem to spell wrong?
    • 'receive.'  It's that damn rule...
39. Would you ever adopt kids?
    • Yes
40. What is your favorite kind of pizza?
    • Pineapple & sausage, or anything with (american) bacon
41. What was your first thought when you woke up this morning?
    • "cereal"
42. When was the last time you got really really happy and why?
    • I can't remember.
43. What's the strangest thing you've ever eaten?
    • I tend to stay away from strange foods
44. How do you start a conversation?
    • I don't. haha
45. What's a band you''ve been obsessed with lately?
    • Royal Pirates
46. Do you come from a family "of money"?
    • No
47. Do you have a bucket list?
    • Yes.  It's very disorganized and things are always changing, but I have one.
