✕ i'm so pretty,i make everyone smitten : sonagi's known to be one of the chubbier trainees in the
company,with evident baby fat in her cheeks and barely a thigh gap.often others,especially ones older than her will squish her cheeks because oh my god fetus cheeks much pinch apparently.standing at 164cm and weighing at 47kg,she's one of the heavier members of the group as sonagi said 'how could anyone diet,food's too good for that'.often breaking diets but just enough to pass through evaluations.with pale skin,just enough to be called tofu,it's soft and smooth causing a lot of envy about her.sonagi didn't get her skin whitened but mostly playing indoor sports has made sonagi tan because she hates the sun 'urgh i hate the sun' 'shut up sonagi you're not a goddamn vampire'.owning natural monolids,she doesn't really like it as monolids only look good if you have larger eyes and because she doesn't want surgery,the company makes her use one of south korea's finest double eyelid cosmetic products.a round forehead and bright pink lips as well as dark brown hair that reaches around at her waist,right before her final trainee evaluation,dyed a streak of her hair a bright pink.a lot of people found it weird because it was unusual but it definitely suited her.

✕ flat shoes can't hide my high value : her style is basically 'oh look stylist unnie told me to wear this so i shall' or 'what i just got the closest thing to my closet'.most of the outfits she wears are from mercy's stylist because really she can not fashion,without the stylist she'd walk out in her pyjamas,oh yeah she will.but idols can't be seen like that so either the other members help her,the stylists have actually stuck post in notes on her clothing that says things like this 'look this shirt goes with this' and basically,starship needs to send her to fashion 101 classes.most of the clothes are comfortable enough for her to do her own thing,mostly oversized sweaters and shorts or skirts or basically anything,however these stylists really like sonagi in jumpsuits and overalls for some reason as well as anything denim to be honest.

PERSONALITY

✕ they take a fresh approach,but i don’t feel a thing : a mainstream idol according to others, because so many idols own the same dorky air as she does,she's not considered well that much special. witty,easily being able to break the ice in an instant with smartass lines.showing quick and inventive verbal humour,her lines can make a lot laugh often making clever remarks and ever if someone gets embarassed,sonagi replies with her y english 'free speech unnie'.sometimes another trait of hers can get confused with her witty trait,they're just similar.extroverted,doesn't mean that she's loud wait she is nevermind then.an outgoing and a gregarious person,she's usually socially confident and can dance like a squid in public and have no shame,because sonagi is sonagi.also cheerful,she normally owns a positive aura around her,she's not optimistic and does think about the negative things at time but she does really like seeing people happy,hence staying positive so she can see more smiles around.noticeably happy and joyful,that's how she shines and alot of people do like her cheerful self.energetic at heart,she shows a lot of vitality and joy in work.an active and lively person,she's the one to energise and is said by the others,is the vitamin that refreshes everyone after practice and everything.

✕ fake,fake,empty-hearted fake : seriously,call her junhoe's daughter because she is sassy as hell.people wonder how a fetus got all that sass but confused with her witty trait a lot.lively and full of spirit,she loves it when she's right and being a smartass causing the others to groan it because the maknae's right.also impulsive,often acting without any thought.sassy at heart,she can' settle and will always talk back okay everytime she can't,she'd pull out her phone and give a junhoe picture with the caption 'ur literally 2 stupid to insult'.there are times where she will during dire situations that can ruin her life like marriage or death or dating or her life,other than things she tends to act quickly without thought.also childish just like how she is,a kid and is naive and innocent like one.she doesn't understand of your dirty jokes and doesn't think much of things except for the things that matter to her,not being aware of the big,blue world much and thinking about the little one she lives in.boisterous,she's loud and enthusiastic shown everyday around her precious unnies.she's noisy and loud,dancing and jumping around causing others to laugh at her actions or groan in annoyance.rowdy,sonagi's often seeing being weird with the others jumping around or dancing or lipsyncing with a hair brush,yeah that's jung sonagi alright.

BACKGROUND
✕ the second born child,부품하나 : in nagasaki,miyamoto ayame gave birth to her second child on april 1st in 1999.at first not much of her family believed that ayame actually was giving birth because it was april fools and she was known to joke around a lot.but some still came and were shocked to see ayame and her husband, jung yuhan carrying miyamoto megumi or jung sonagi in their hands and smiling.born as miyamoto megumi,due to the fact the couple thought it'd be weird to give her a korean name since she was birthed in japan and took her mother's surname.sonagi was gave the name sonagi by her father because when they were home and were meant to take her home it started raining and so her father named her sonagi,rain shower in korean.her brother jung joohyun or miyamoto hikaru was two years older than her and then,he seemed to be really excited with a new sibling.

✕ welcome to hell kid,부품 두 :  no one said life was easy but sonagi never believed it but when she began kindergarten,she and her brother were bullied.it was common for kids to not understand and like m.i.b's kangnam was pushed and because she was half korean and short,her hair was pulled.no one went to talk to her and was ostracised from everyone,sonagi was just alone.since her brother was more sensitive than her,it seemed like sonagi seemed to be older than him,always reminding him that everything would be a pancake flipping okay.her brother found comfort in music and so she could be closer with her brother,joined him in vocal lessons and piano lessons when she was six and she too,liked music very very so much.and so,sonagi was then put into japanese traditional dance by her mother,sonagi however found it too slow and with a pout everyday,she reluctantly went to dance.

✕ welcome to south korea,부품 세 :  when she was twelve,sonagi and her family moved to daegu,south korea to visit her father's side of family.when she was there,it was around 2011.as she then went to attend middle school.she was often teased because of her half status,knowing less korean.transferring from her school to her and when she said sonagi was from japan,she was bullied.it didn't help that she came from nagasaki where the word war two bombings took place as well as in hiroshima and so kids would tell her to go back to japan.sending her letters of telling that they hoped she got killed by a bomb and many other threats,sonagi would cry and beg her mother to not let her go to school.her brother got a worse treatment and was pushed down the hallways,he hated on how a half status was so bad.he honestly didn't understand and sonagi would spend the day cheering him on and saying hwaiting,in her accented korean.

fed up with things,sonagi and her brother now by the name of joohyun walked out and pretended to be sick,walking out to a street in daegu.he brought his guitar and because they didn't have money to buy food because they were both dumb.she suggested for him to play his guitar in the middle of the street like in the movies and become super rich.he was sixteen and she was fourteen,him being in high school.he just wanted to get out of school quickly and run back to japan.she told him to do it because both kids were hungry as hell and were too stupid to bring money.

begrudgingly he sat down on the road along with sonagi and because both for some reason only knew vocaloid songs,they just had to pick one of the saddest songs.and so singing in japanese and one of the saddest songs there lost one's weeping.slowly people who cared dumped around 100won in joohyun's hat and one moment during their vocaloid moment.singing only anime opening and vocaloid songs,because why not.including an emotional cover of unravel,a starship scout was like 'hey kids'.he dropped 300 won in joohyun's hat and gave a card to both of them to audition.as sonagi didn't really own a dream before,when she went home she searched up starship and really liked it,thinking that she found a dream.joohyun supported his sister and continued with school,the week after her parents finally agreed and sonagi auditioned,being accepted as a starship trainee.

TRAINEE LIFE
✕ like walking down on a red carpet  : during her first year at starship,it all seemed to be fine for her. there were other foreigners and that she wasn't the only one in korean lessons.she wasn't exactly the best at dancing and the others would snicker when she got low on her dance assessments.even if she got into starship because of her singing,she got to go to rap classes because they wanted to see if she could be a yoon mirae immediately or not.her training other than that,learning that she was decent enough at rapping made well barely any friends.her half status and loud personality didn't really attract much and most thought she was a large pest.she made around two friends and well that was it.wanting to not waste her time and spend forever training,she trained from dusk to dawn and dawn to dusk,barely getting any sleep.by then sonagi developed insomnia,and during training she might pass out due to exhaustion or lack of sleep.it was alright for her and slowly continued her training.some evaluations sonagi would fail and some pass.sometimes she's ace her evaluations but rarely.

JUNG SONAGI

was born on APRIL 1ST,1999 which makes her 18 years old in korean age and 16 years old in international age.she was born from a JAPANESE mom and a KOREAN dad.
she was born in NAGASAKI,JAPAN and grew up there and in DAEGU,SOUTH KOREA. she is notably known for looking like TWICE'S KIM DAHYUN and sometimes RED VELVET'S KIM YERIM,YERI.
