appearance : Jiseul is often referred to as the barbie of the group, not only because of her gorgeous features but the fact that she more often than not has blonde hair. She loves dying her hair, Especially to blonde. Her long golden locks are usually loose or in a high pony tail, Or if she's gotten it cut, it will be in a bob that frames her face perfectly. Jiseul is a short woman standing at 160cm and weighing around 44kg, She is often envied because of her small and petiteness. Jiseul tends to use lip glosses and tints to achieve the gradiant lips many ulzzangs have and it fits perfectly with her heart shaped full and plump lips. Naturally her eyes are a light brown hue but she sometimes uses colored contact lenses that are a light purple, blue, green and or hazel. Her nails are always perfectly manicured or painted and she prefers to use less makeup and just eyeliner and occasional mascara since her eye lashes are very long and curled on their own.

personality : Jiseul is usually a very nice and cheerful spirit, always trying to cheer people up if they're down. mainly the mood setter of the group, she takes her position as the bright one very seriously. careless, fiery and blunt at times, Jiseul uses her charasmatic and captivating personality to hide how anxious and clumsy she truly is. fanciful, aspiring and determined, she is sure to achieve her dreams and capture the hearts of people everywhere whilst reaching for the stars. although childish and gullible, she is also known for her brillant way of thinking and her bright smile. Jiseul often tries to mask her anxiety out of fear it would make everyone else angry, not wanting to upset those around her or even worse, disappoint them if she ever messes up. Jiseul's anxiety is more of a social anxiety where sometimes if she does something wrong and knows it she'll get very upset with herself and want to run away, but knows that with her status as the lead dancer and vocalist it would be frowned upon and it makes her even more upset to the point where she'd burst into tears and apologize for her actions perfusely. Her anxiety is very heavy because of her placement at JYP, where they judged her heavily and although they were still nice and such, it made her feel like she was always doing something wrong and her anxiety grew. despite having taken her position very seriously, she can be careless when attempting dances or the like and end up hurt somehow. even though she doesn't show it she's a sensitive girl who just wants to be reassured and comforted by those around her.
background : Born on November 2nd, 1992; Mi-Jiseul was certainly a ball of energy both in and out of the womb. Being raised more by her mother than both parents, She took to her mother Dana, Always following her around like a duck, Especially when her mother sang to her. Her father was a very successful business man and was usually out at work, though Jiseul wished he'd be home and at work less, she couldn't complain because with the money her father earned, She and her mother were quite spoiled. Dana was a humble woman and loved her husband dearly, coming from a rough up-bringing in New York, she deemed herself very lucky to have been able to move to Seoul for college and to have met Minkki at that time. Minkki himself loved Dana just as much and if not, even more. The two were a match made in heaven from the day they met to they day they'd gotten married. Jiseul always loved listening to her parents love story, and would often write her own out, loving to write and read. At a young age, Jiseul was exposed to music and absolutely loved to sing and dance, Usually singing with her mother who wasn't the greatest at it but enjoyed singing all the more. Around the age of eight, Jiseul had developed a knack for singing, often showing it off to those who liked her voice and even joined chorus back in elementary, but it was at the age of twelve when she truly got into music, beginning to write music for herself to sing and have small talent shows to showcase to her mother. It was her mother who'd decided she didn't want her daughter's talent to go to waste because she could see how happy music made her and knew it'd be her passion once she was older, so when she saw that JYP had been holding auditions, she quickly told Jiseul, who was very happy about it and they began on her audition. Jiseul was accepted because of her strong vocals despite being young at the time and she trained for 8 years before she realized she wouldn't be debuting at all, and with all the years she'd wasted training she was upset and heart broken. That was until the age of 20 when she heard about starship ent. having auditions again and with the last ounces of her hope she auditioned to the company, waiting two weeks till they got back to her and told her she'd been accepted as a trainee.

TRAINEE life : Trainee life for Jiseul was very hard, going into JYP at the age of 12 and having to sing, practice her dancing and keep a social life in school was very tiring. And the fact that she'd spent eight unsuccessful years there only to realize she wouldn't be debuting any time soon had made her crest fallen.
when she was at starship it was more different as there was less pressure because of the fact they mainly focused on sistar, and the trainees were given a less harder schedule to keep up with, which made jiseul extremely thankful and happy as she had trained the most and would continue to do so.
