I don't even know how to start this, tbh. I thought that something like plagiarism wouldn't happen to me because I simply think that my writing is nowhere near special. There are so many awesomely written fan-fictions out there, so why me/my story?

Writing makes me happy and sometimes I feel like it's probably one of the things that makes me unique and helps me get through my life. But not like this, it shouldn't be like this. Never. Plagiarism is nothing good, it hurts and makes one suffer. I spend a lot of time editing and rewriting the new chapters, while experiencing life's hardships. It just hurts!

The first time this happened I wasn't really hurt or angry. I was just really really surprised. I constantly asked myself why someone would want to plagiarise a bad written amateur fan-fiction claiming that she wrote it? Regarding the fact that it was Metamorphosis bad and awfully written older version, where I can say I just started to write without thinking through the plot and etc. Given, I wasn't the person who dealt with the plagiariser, but a friend of mine instead. The version was taken down, I resumed to write the new chapters to publish them and that was it.

But now? This person didn't just plagiarised it on another platform like the precious case, but choose two sites I was active on. AFF and wattpad. To make matters worse, she even directly copied the 'information' chapter on wattpad and didn't feel the need to change anything besides the author note. This person isn't a subscriber of Metamorphosis and I know for sure that she never was as well. She voted for the chapters on wattpad though. Hell, she even follows me there and sometimes even leaves some comments?! The foreword on both copied stories look exactly like the 'information' chapter on wattpad, while the original foreword/description here on AFF is designed differently, thanks to the different editors.

I contacted this person and demanded the copied stories to be taken down. I even did so on both of her accounts. She hasn't responded to me at all, even if the AFF copy is on draft status, while the wattpad one is still there. And as sorry as I am, I won't update on wattpad till that one is taken down as well. The plagiariser is, like I said before, not subscribed of Metamorphosis here on AFF and when she has the nerve to click that heart, I will make her unsubscribe (as the author of the story, you can make a subscriber unsubscribe your story). Like this I can ensure that she won't copy the new chapters that are to come, but just the one's I have published there, which are all 18 chapters as of now. I don't know if I will take down the wattpad story, maybe I will undo the publishing and save the story as draft there. I already reported the story and I hope that they will take action immediately. Let's hope for the best!

Before everyone asks me who the person is, I won't tell you guys. I know that you just want to help me, but I have witnessed countless of times that something like a witch-hunt starts and that the plagiariser gets bullied and insulted. Yes, plagiariser may have done something bad and they deserve a sort of punishment, but getting cyberbullied isn't acceptable. And till I am hopeful that wattpad will give me an answer to the report, I won't tell you guys her user-name. I will firstly deal with this myself, but there may be a time where I need help with more reports, if she will ignore my warnings and if wattpad decides to take ages. 

Thank you for reading this and I hope something like that never happens again because the it's not just me being hurt and saddened by such news, but you readers as well. As a result, the readers on wattpad need to wait , probably for ages, to read the new update's and sadly, there is no way for me to change that fact. And at this point I don't know what to do. This is the second time it happened and I still count myself in as a beginner. Metamorphosis is my very first fan-fiction for pete's sake. What should I do?

The wattpad copy of Metamorphosis is still not taken down, while the AFF version was deleted instantly after I contacted the plagiariser, who still ignores all messages. I have thus taken down all of the published chapters in wattpad, where I won't update till the wattpad copy is taken down as well. I will still update here on AFF solely. I am sorry for any inconvenience sweeties <3

The plagiarised story was finally fully taken down, which I am really glad at. The plagiariser even answered my messages and apologised for both ignoring and plagiarising.
