Should I make Doppelganger subscribers-only or not?

Hey guys!

I've never done a blog before so I don't really know how they work or if anyone will actually read this, but whatever XD

So, right to the point. I'm debating whether I should make my main fanfiction, Doppelganger, subscribers-only or not. I'd like to have more subscribers, and I like when people subscribe of course. Also it makes me feel like people actually read the fic, haha!

But I know that if I make it open for everyone, people without accounts can see. I have friends who want to read it, but they don't have AFF lol.

I'd love your opinion on what I should do! Thanks!

I had that dilemma when I started writing Psycho as well - having friends who wanted to read without an AFF account. Then I got reported and had to make it M-rated and Triggerwarning lol, so the sub-only was automatic.
But - I understand you! Getting subscribers is nice. ~ To be honest though, for me it felt more fulfilling to get subscribers when I have my stories open because that means that people really want to follow it, they're not just there to check it out and leave again soon. ; _ ;
If subscribers mean a lot to you though, then I would put in on sub-only and tell my friends that they can get the story in a document (word or something) and read it there. c:
