APPEARNCE norae wears her dark brown hair on the shorter side, leaving it at her shoulders at the longest length. she tried a (self-given) boy-cut once, but that didn't work out quite well. she's the type to go out without brushing her hair, with mismatched socks. she has a reasonably fashionable appearance, most of the time, but isn't afraid to go out in casual clothes if she doesn't feel like it. she doesn't mind having a bit of a 'boyish' look to her, as that is what she feels comfortable in; which is the most important thing for norae, being comfortable.

norae is a tiny bit taller than her elder twin, and also weighs a little more. she has a very slightly more full face. in terms of their differences, though they are identical, norae has a beauty mark on the inner wrist of her left hand.
 

FASHION   norae's fashion ranges from loose shorts, leather jackets, sweaters with random english written on it. anything cool, really. she has an 'urban' sort of sense of fashion, and tends to stay away from feminine clothing as she feels uncomfortable in it. her closet contains snapbacks galore, and overall her look is very fresh and cool.

▾ bang norae is the one to go to when you want to have a good time. when you're feeling down in the dumps, she's the friend you want to drag you out. the town proclaimed karaoke queen as well as everyone's favorite mc is bang norae. one would think, as someone who is so driven to make it out of this town and to make it big, she'd have a serious side to her. but, norae lays it out like it is. she is the same on stage as she is on real life; cheery, a crowd firestarter, and charismatic. norae's charisma is unique as it comes from her own optimistic nature. people are drawn to her not because she oozes charisma, but because she shines with a positivity that draws you to her. her music is captivating, her raps and her choruses, and her guitar chord playing, all of it because it is genuine, even her sometimes inflated self-confidence.

her music is quite possibly the one thing she can be serious about. besides all of this, norae's personality is a bit hindering. there is a such thing as too much optimism. sometimes this girl really does not know when to give up, like her sister. she'll take every route possible until she wins some sort of victory. triumph for norae is relative and often she'll take anything she can get, after all, it is something. she'll settle for her dreams, anyway she can get them. she is a dreamer, someone who dreams of not getting away from this town, as her sister may see it, but growing from her roots.

much to her sister's chagrin, norae is quite childish. she talks childishly, acts childishly. she's never really fully grown up, and even though she acts like all that with her stage presence, she has a scared little kid in her. she's not all that brave, though she often puts a brave face on and only takes it off in front of her sister. she's also affection hungry with her sister, and will often hug her, again, much to her annoyance. she also has a tendency to make rash and stupid decisions, things that her sister often covers up for.

in terms of her flaws, norae's attributes are her flaws. though she is liked by most people, it is her optimism and her easy going nature that draws barriers in her personal life. norae has a hard time being feminine, it's not something she really ever was, but she dreams of a fairytale prince, though she's not much of a princess herself. with her sister; norae always childishly craves her sister's attention, by acting out, by being sweet to her, by acting silly and it can get annoying. however, norae was unable to attach herself to their adoptive mother as narae was, and she craves that motherly love from her sister, often crawling into bed with her. 

 

▾ norae and narae were born 11 minutes apart to a woman they do not remember. they were just little toddlers, 2 years old, when they got adopted by a sweet couple who whisked them away to the fairytale town of donghwa.

they grew up a happy childhood, until their mother passed away when the girls were 9 years old. their father continued to love them and raise them as they had been. norae was always a happy go lucky type child. optimistic to the point where she was naive. a charmer of a child, she was. norae's dive into music occured when she was young, as her inner conscience always led her towards center stage and towards music.

her flow was always on point, and she went from acting out in school plays to doing talent shows with her free styling and her own music, which became popular around town. her conscience is within her own rhythm, as apollo is the god of music, and it's truly on another level. besides her music, norae was never the top student like her sister was, she just did well enough to get by, though she was quite popular in her class.

in terms of her relationship with her sister; norae sees her elder twin as a motherly figure. whenever she gets scared, she'll crawl into bed with her sister. though narae fights against it now, norae will often clasp her pinky with her sister's pinky and hold it to make her feel safe. in terms of her sister's uality, she knows, as it's a twin sense thing. she's seen it through the years and she knows her sister quite well. since narae never brought it up, neither has norae, but it is something norae waits for her sister to be comfortable enough to share with her.

she's dreamed of, since she was a teenager, moving to seoul and pursuing a career as an mc and producer. 

 

RLATNSHPS
ADOPTIVE PARENT RELATION ▾ bang hyukshin (49); car repairshop owner; warmhearted, joking, friendly, affectionate; 9; norae and her father are good friends, they were always closer, even when the girls were younger. norae's father is her own cheerleader, who cheers her on despite not being great at everything, and despite all the stupid things she says.

THE #SQUAD ▾ norae was always the kid that everyone loved hanging around, and the squad kind of naturally took norae in as an addition when they were kids. norae is constantly rapping about her friends, much to their delight and disgust (some of these raps are ridiculous, tbh). norae gets along with most people in the squad, and is happy that her sister is a part of it.
