While I write 'SAI CO.'....

Okay this is going to be quite random but I just felt like doing this. (I can get a little crazy with my characters while writing this story of mine) So, while I was writing my story, 'SAI CO', I never imagined that I would have THIS much fun writing a psych au! I surprisingly and thoroughly have been enjoying the process because of how ridiculous(?) it could get. I was very enlightened while researching up for Sehun, who is one of my main characters in this story. I did manage to portray most of his behaviours and thoughts to match his... mental illness. I initially thought that it would be really angst and deep-thinking for the characters, but then I realised something.

Psych au-type of stories are obviously crazy, and to me, I think these kind of stories are completely off-tanget of normal realities. Moreover, not all characters will be deep in thought most of the time (because that is my style of writing and I like that kind of those stuff a lot) and they can be oddly humorous. Thus, the content doesn't require it to be all intense and deep, it can be crazy and odd! XD I actually realised how fun it was to write "abnormal" characters like Kai and Sehun as I was able to write content that was SO different from what I would usually write. But it might also because (I don't know why, srsly) I happen to just be in a good mood when I write 'SAI CO'. As long as it doesn't get too personal and deep, I should be fine.

What do all of you think? Let me know what you think of the psych-au stories you typically read and what kind of style I should adapt, or should I just write however I like?
