PERSONALITY — PROTECTIVE- Yunji is very protective of those she's close with especially her band mates and younger brother. STRONG WILLED- Quitting is not defined in Yunji's dictionary. She refuses to give up no matter how hard things may get-her old trainee instructor actually told her such thing saying she wouldn't last as an artist: That was all it took for Yujin to keep working. It surfaced in her heart that if she could take it, she could make it.
ADVENTURES- Yunjin loves seeing and exploring new things and coming up with new ideas/concepts. Although, she has her limits of course such as flying...that's not quite on her list for 'adventure'.
HUMOROUS- You want a good laugh? Yunji's the one to go to. She often cracks the stupidest of jokes that don't honestly make any sense but you can't help but laugh along with it when she tells it. Finding humor in certain things is Yunji's way of making herself and hopefully others feel better about whatever it is they may be going through. Laughter is the best medicine after all.
Out Going- Out going is the true definition of Yunji. A girl who's just a big bundle of energy which can sometimes be both a blessing and a curse to those around her. When one is sad or upset they'll be the first Yujin will go to to make sure they're okay or will be and do whatever she can to brighten their day just a little bit more than before.
SELF CRITICAL- While she's said to be a modest of person she's actually quite self critical of herself. Yunji often questions if what she does is truly good enough or if she made the right decision even becoming a VIVA trainee. Because of this she sometimes pushes herself more than nescessary to the point it even affects her health.
HOT HEADED- You say just the right thing to her and Yunji will blow her top off. She's like a raging hurricane when this girl is ticked off and often has a very fowl mouth when she does. The Wrath of Yunj'is not a thing that you EVER want to see. When she's angry the best thing to do is to let her cool off and leave her be then talk to her when she's ready to listen to someone or talk to them.
COCKY- A sweet girl yes but she's not perfect. Like most teenagers she still has a bit of a cocky side to her sweet persona. Very bold and boastful if she's in the spotlight for too long.
IMPATIENT- She can't wait for anyone for more than a minute. If you're gone longer she'll leave you behind unfortunately or will try to wait as long as it takes then chew you out for being late later.
TOO CRITICAL- Constructive criticsm is always a good thing but sometimes Yunjin takes it to another level. Perhaps it's because her old trainer was always tough on her that it kind of rubbed off on Yunjin: Although she really does try and not be mean to the person but if you ask for her opinion she won't hesitate to give it...or may feel bad about it much later on and apologize.
BACKGROUND —Hwang Yunji known by her neighbors from Seoul as the 'Seoul Terror' due to some 'mischief' she caused as a child was born in Seoul, South Korea originally before her father got a better paying job at another hospital in Busan. She is fluent in both Thai and Korean due to having Thai history from her father's side. Since she's still a minor Yunji cares about her studying as well attending a local international high school as a Freshman in the district. She was an energetic child as well-her mother still swears that when she told Yunji to sit down once at the age of two she turned away one minute only to find her daughter running around the neighborhood with a fever mind you outside with a police officer attempting to keep the child out of traffic. Her neighbors almost always falling victim to some of her notorious pranks.
School life Yunji did fairly well. Her favorite topics were always history and music-choir being her most beloved class. She used to have stage fright quite a bit but this class had really helped her overcome her fear after doing numerous musicals and even a few plays here and there.

TRAINING BACKGROUND — It was actually her friend Saeryon whom suggested she become a trainee and her mother. But she was a nervous wreck in the beginning constantly screwing up in front of the other trainees to make fun of her for constantly messing up on her dancing or rapping areas that she lacked most in. Her first instructor was no better-constantly belittling her every chance she got telling it to Yunjin's face that she would never become an artist or idol like those she looked up to. Those were just the right words to set her off. "I'll show you," Yunji once spat at her instructor. "That if I can take it. I can make it...I'm not going to allow your words to hurt me" and she didn't. For at least three years she practiced day and night, night and day to keep up with the others. She even refused to eat only focused solely on practicing which ended up with her at the emergency room once after fainting during practice.
After seeing her strong will and determination, the CEO of ViVA saw she was just the kind of young lady needed in the group and perhaps an inspiration to other young artist as well.
