ELABORATION
• nam duri is an independent woman. she'll do things her way and do her own things as long as they are realistic. she can adapt to every single situation perfectly well and stay calm. once she's on stage, duri will do her best to please. her charasmatic personality performing would let the first impressions of her be amazing to others. if you do get to know duri on a personal level, in which duri actually remembers your name and what you like if you aren't a celebrity, she would be loyal until the day you break her trust.
• with all the good things said about her, duri is dishonest and has a habit of lying and putting up a facade around others she isn't aquainted yet. duri is also troublsome; talking back, not listening and even pulling a few pranks here and there. though that trait only comes in when she's used to the situation that she has adapted into. with her charasmatic nature, some people find it hard to get used to duri's confident personality but she has no plans to change it.

BACKGROUND
• duri was born in seoul with her two underaged parents. she was soon given away to her godparents after duri's parents eloped so they wouldn't get in trouble with their families. duri lived a fairly average life. instead of playing with dolls and stuff which other girls played when they were five, duri played with cars, marbles and kites. to be honest, duri grew up to be a rather boyish person. it was when she was in middle school that her godparents bought a little cafe near their neighbourhood, where it was going to be shut down since the owners could not function it anymore. trained as a barista, her godfather started running the cafe with his wife. ever since then, the little cafe gained more recognition but is still a fairly small neighbourhood cafe.
• in highschool, duri had her rebellious stage going on. she skipped classes and graffited on walls. duri wasn't surprised that when she stopped the phase that over fifty of the 'school crimes' were against her. as one of the punishments made by the student council, duri had to guide the middle school students, who were going to attend the high school, around campus. there, she met jooyeon and kept her eye out for the girl. between the second year and third year of highschool, duri basically lived her life to the fullest. she attended more parties and became better known throughout the school and community.
• by the end of the second year, duri had become girlfriends with jooyeon. at the end of her third year in high school, duri bleached her hair so she could dye her hair different colours but had to use a wig to cover it while at school so she wouldn't get in trouble, after all, she would get a whole bunch of detentions rocking up to school with crisp blonde hair. the following year, she got a job at her godparent's cafe and managed to get a small cosy apartment. when jooyeon eventually graduated from highschool, she moved in with duri. the same year, duri had auditioned for sm entertainment and was accepted.

joyful, optimisitic, gullible - since she was unable to concieve her own child, hyojin was glad when she was told that she was the one who would raise duri. she treats her like her own child, maybe even like a treasure.

blunt, compassionate, selfless - jonghun is basically duri's father and he treats her like she is his own daughter. just like hyojin, except that jonghun can be a bit more supportive yet judgemental at her.

responsible, energetic, shrewd - jinyoung was one of the closest friends duri had in highschool and is the only one who stays in touch with her as of the present. he is the opposite of duri but what makes them close to each other is that jinyoung stops duri from doing anything stupid of even worse, getting herself killed.

jooyeon gulped nervously and tugged at her shorts, "you won't forget me right? i mean when you debut, will you still be with me? because idol life is hard and glamorous, will you still be in love with me-"
the girl was abruptly stopped by a pair of lips crashing against her, "you talk too much."
