Advice Needed....

Okay...Some may think this is gross or weird, but is it wrong to have a crush on a cousin even though you're related only thorugh marriage?

meaning, he's your stepfather's brother-in-law's nephew?? Confused? break it down even more --> Mother remarried to Step-father. Step-father's sister's husband's older brother's son...LOL.... but I'm serious...it has gotten to the point where my depression took place and alot of weight loss because of his existence and his ideal type that i didn't think i would match up to.....Yes we hung out alot and work together...but its been so long already and I still am...falling deeper than ever... He knows but after months passed, since i've been doing so good keeping it in, i don't think he knows i still do....T^T

Please try to use comfort words...Criticizing would just make it worse....for my depression....

I dont think you have anything to worry about at all. Please don't stress over something like this or what other people would think because at the end of the day it's you who is in love and not someone else. As cheesy as it sounds, love knows no boundaries so even if he was your actual cousin, it wouldn't be a crime. In your case, you're hardly even related! I honestly don't think there's anything to worry about and I wish you would see it that way too. Please look after your health; you shouldn't have to lose weight or change yourself for someone else but I do understand you.
How was his reaction when he found out? If your feelings have only grown stronger, wouldn't it be better to let it out in the open instead of keeping everything caged in?

You're fine, honey, oh my goodness. Not only did you skip over your step-father's family but you skipped past that into someone who isn't even blood related to your step-father. You are A-okay. I mean, it might sound weird if you tell people you met ur crush at the family reunion, lmfao, but other than that you're totally fine, don't even worry about it!
