Title: Courage Under Fire(?) Broken Little Soldiers(?)

Synopsis:

When Huang Zitao returns from military service he is praised as a war hero and made the medal of honor of recipient all for a moment's worth of actions and it forces him to become a public figure, praised -and consequently scrutinised- by the masses. However society wants a hero that fits with it's status quo and as a gay man struggling with the weight of his tour overseas the real Zitao suffers under the facade of normalcy. Wu Yifan, a graduate political science student in need of a primary source for his thesis, reminds Zitao of what he is outside the public light.

This sounds quite promising. I would love to read it :) Also, I wouldn't edit the synopsis because I don't think it's lacking anything nor do I remember such characters assigned to either Tao or Kris in any other stories I have read so far. I would just carry on with what you have now because it sounds rather unique and intriguing.
On another note, you have the tendency to make gold out of mere dirt, so I know you'll do a spectacular job on this one too. I've always admired your writing style ^^
