Goodbye, my friend

For the past two weeks, I have been using my sister's laptop because my precious ten inch Samsung laptop isn't working. For some odd reason, it just wouldn't turn on. I thought it was weird. Before, my laptop was working just fine. I don't know why it suddenly stopped. I didn't want to get a new one, but I had to. That laptop has been with me since 2010. And I kind of believe it was too short of a life span.

My dad bought me a laptop because I have been using his too frequently. At first, I didn't like this laptop. The laptop was (again) ten inches since I kind of told my dad to get me a small one (in other words, I really didn't care what size). When it arrived home, I was very excited...but a little disappointed. First off, the laptop is a Windows 7 starter. I have very limited features. For example, I can't change the desktop. I only had a boring basic background. The worse one was probably video quality. My sister played Taeyang's Wedding Dress and put it on HD, and the laptop balls. The video was lagging, both on and off the charger cord. It was a let down. When I upgraded to Windows 10 (for free, YES!), my laptop became slower than before. For me to close down everything and turning off my laptop takes forever. Going over to the Windows start icon and clicking onto the shut down buttons takes up about ten seconds. My screen resolution was big. I can't put it any smaller than the recommended size. I couldn't darken my screen, thanks to Windows 10. The laptop also does a poor job in doing tasks without being dependent on the charger. However, I didn't let the negative things bother me. I rarely get viruses. And when I do, I can always use the Samsung recovery program. The laptop was lightweight and felt good on my lap. Bigger, heavier laptops aren't my thing. I don't like easily overheated laptops. Without the cord, my laptop can go as long as eight hours.

Le sigh...I had a great time with that laptop. I'm pretty sad I won't be able to get a few of my saved documents. There are a few Word works I wanted to keep. My laptop not turning on was totally unexpected...dammit! Oh well.  That laptop was outdated anyway. I don't think no one uses it. I am getting a brand new laptop. You will be missed, my dear friend.

Edit: I did went over to the Samsung website and asked for help. I followed the instructions carefully, but nothing happened. I would like to have a further service help, the thing is they asked for my serial number. The code was long gone. It was blanked out. How did this happened? I used disinfected wipes on the occasion to keep my laptop bacteria free. I wipe that cloth everywhere. I didn't even know it was strong enough to fade out and remove certain things on my laptop! I'm screwed at this point. Luckily, I already did my computer shopping a few days ago. I only went to the Samsung site just to see how the agents will help me fix my laptop back.
