APPEARANCE haeli has long shaggy black hair ever since she was born and in some occasions, she tends to dye her hair auburn with temporary hair dyes and ties it up high in a ponytail. despite of being an asian, haeli has thicker lips than an average korean has. rather than being embarrassed, she embraces her feature thinking that it makes her a little bit ier. haeli's most protruding body asset is her nose. if people were to describe her, it will probably be the girl with crazy nose. even so, haeli never considered to do a plastic surgery. her almond shaped eyes are dark brown in color and with her natural double eyelid, it makes her eyes beautifully alluring.

after 4 years of practicing parkour (freerunning), go haeli admits that she has quite a built body and tanned skin from being exposed to the sun often. since she sweats a lot, haeli usually wear something baggy such as oversized tees and loose tank top. instead of being concerned about colors like normal girls, haeli is more particular about the fabric of her clothing like a middle age lady. to her, being comfortable is a priority.  her worn and faded purple converse shoes and a pair of recently bought sports shoes are the only shoes she has as she doesn't have to take much time on choosing what shoes to wear.

haeli has no qualms of being a wallpaper, a stand alone or being ignored. honestly, whenever there are activities around her she would prefer to be at the back of the rooms and watching her peers judgmentally. yes, haeli is the creep you see in school staring at people with her usual tranquil gaze. although she knows that judging a book by its cover is bad but she finds it fun to do so. even so, by judging them, she also notices the positive side of people and  rather quickly than others. she is quite swift to spot on predicaments around her, often noticing small things others don't. it seems to be stemmed ever since she was a kid. she used to notice small thing for compliments and now it became a habit.

introvert is what haeli favors to be called rather than an antisocial. she might be unfriendly and unsympathetic but that doesn't mean she can't make friends. if they want to talk then sure let's talk, if they don't then it's not her business. in fact, with her demeanor, she gained a few good friends who are not offended by her sassy jokes. being a coherent person, haeli tends to find logic in every aspect in things she does. she has the tendency to think a lot of 'what if's and habitually make plan b's to everything she does. occasionally, if the topic befitted her logic, she would voice out her thoughts but usually leaves it as a suggestion instead of a command.

regardless the rest, haeli absolutely hates to be tangled with anything. call it responsibilities or romantic relationships, she will try to avoid them at best by simply being nonchalant about it. possibly why she is also quite notorious as being an insolent by her acquaintances. instead of getting irritated, she laughs at them. her mother always mention that haeli's best integrity is her perseverance. she knows what she wants and she will do it and will master it, namely parkour (freerunning). after 4 years of experience, she had multiple bruises and scars on her body mainly on her knees and elbows from failing but she'd rather call it scratches of honor. after all, she is one of the best freerunner in town.

BACKGROUND 
being a senior executive in a well established bank makes go haeli’s father spend time with his family very scarcely. although, his attribution is quite adamant, haeli thoroughly idolizes her father ever since she was a toddler. she thinks her father has achieved the greatest achievement in his life and career as she can have anything she wants leave it expensive or rare but only when she stay silent, obey and behave perfectly. everybody knows, her father is particularly emphatic over her and haeli was more or less a spoiled child. her mother is a librarian and so, she likes to read and talk less, in general. still, she loves her only daughter very much. go haeli loves both of her parents and acknowledge that they are  good providers. therefore, they are quite busy with their own careers. that leaves haeli being alone most of the time. growing up in that situation, she becomes a self-resilient person.

it was then as well, she started to experience sleep paralysis and she gets it quite often lately. it was a hell of scary illusions. she could see, hear and feel things that wasn’t real. she did some research and the only way to actually avoid it is either to not sleep or sleep only when she’s extremely exhausted. and so, she started to wander around and spends her time aimlessly loitering every evening to make herself tired. its only a matter of time that she found and became a member parkour team when she was thirteen. she spent her time mostly training, she became attached with it. it might be because  her teammates treat her at par. either way, it helped her. her sleeping schedule normalized and she had her beauty sleep peacefully.

when she was 16, they moved to gyudo as her dad’s working location changed after being promoted. it was hard for her, leaving her friends and memories back there. in fact, trying to fit in her new school has taken a toll on herself because she was suddenly exposed to a new and strange social and cultural environment. her mother didn’t find a job after moving because her dad is able to provide for all of them accordingly.  thus, she can’t go out to wear herself out or even have a little bit of fun. though her mother is usually calm, she is also can be utterly overprotective. haeli is only allowed to go out once a fortnightly. haeli ultimately became a natural recluse. what’s the point of having friend if she can’t even hangout with them. eventually, her sleep paralysis came back. she would exercise every once in a while but doing so is not fun at all. she had done some research about her sleep paralysis and found out that by calming herself can lessen the effect of sleep paralysis. now, she started to meditate and somehow it worked quite well. she then meditates whenever she had the time, in the morning, at school, in her room and before sleeping. even so, she still in love with parkouring and every time get to go out, she would find a place to parkour and that’s probably how she find her new friends.

THERE IS A FIRE. HOW WOULD YOU REACT?
“that’s a... very weird question.” she frowns and took a deep breath, (immediately in her mind, flashes of chaos and people screaming) somewhat imagining different scenes and situations. “well, it depends on where I am when the fire happens.  if I’m outside then I would probably call someone to help but if i’m inside...” she shrugs. “I guess I’ll do what I have to do that moment. i’ll just go with the flow cus you know, fire is something you can’t predict.” “but if you were to ask specifically, I’ll wet a towel, put it around me, do that… umm… what you call it? military crawl? yeah, until I find my way out.” she tugs the end of her ponytail habitually.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU SEE A CASUALTY OR A DECEASED PERSON IN FRONT OF YOU?
“I’ll be honest here.” looking at the interviewer with her usual tranquil gaze. the interviewer fidgets slightly before haeli looks away, not actually trying to threaten him. “I’ll just walk away.” haeli crosses her legs. “ because I seriously don’t want to be accountable for anything of it.” she shakes her head and her dry lips, not wanting him to get the wrong idea, haeli quickly changes the path of the conversation. “unless I’m in a funeral. in which i’ll never go. I have so much better things to do than mourning for them, really.”

IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN SAVING YOURSELF OR A CLOSE FRIEND, WHICH WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
she raises her eyebrows and pulls sleeves back up.  “i don’t know. it rest on the level of my sanity that time.” she responds after a few moment. haeli remember that she did asked herself this some time in her life but it was a long time ago. “because if I were to choose saving myself and let the other die, I think I’ll live my life forever in guilt but if I choose to save my close friend and I die…” she stops abruptly, she is definitely not ready to face her death just yet, she has so many things in her bucketlist that has yet to accomplish. “I don’t know, dude.” she scratches the back of her head, frowning. “but if that person is worth me calling them a ‘close friend’ wouldn’t they volunteer to die tog- no that’s stupid. never mind.” she reties her ponytail.

IF THERE IS A SHORTAGE OF FOOD AND WATER, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? 
“hmm...” she looks around as if she can find answers on the plain walls. “I wouldn’t mind to fast. I mean, I was never a big eater anyway. but I do need to find more water and drink less frequently.” she tilts her head a little, imagining of other different setting. “if I’m in a group of homo sapiens, then, we could do rations on the supplies we had left and gather more, of course.” haeli rubs her nose gently, recalling the scenes of survival movies and shows she had watched. “and I might be a bit… ungenerous with water. NOT being selfish, I just get dehydrate a lot quicker than others.” she purses her lips. “don't ask me why cus i don't know too.” she shrugs and shakes her head at the same time.

IN THIS SITUATION, WHO WOULD YOU MISS? 
“in what situation? you mean like in a devastating situation?” she leans back on her chair casually and crosses her arms, thinking. “i don't think i'll be missing a person. is it okay to say that i'll miss the memories of someone instead?” haeli looks at the interviewer, she knows that people comes and goes so, she tries to not get attached to anybody and as an alternative, she cherishes the memories of them instead.

• okay, my application is definitely not good as the others. so instead of using flowery words, i try to focus on making my application understandable, in which i hope i did a good job in doing that. but if you still have questions, i'm more than glad to answer them.
