Ask anything about me-- everyday9! [Answers]

Alright ladies and gentleman, here are the answers to the questions you have asked!  Hope you enjoy!

bigbang asks:

What made you write fanfic?

I decided to "try out" writing fanfiction after I finished reading DarkUlrich's "Surprise, Surprise for SNSD's New Manager."  He just became a source of inspiration for me that I began to write a few chapters and see how it went.

Also, after a specific encounter at a bus stop (which I'm going to explain in another question), I decided to continue writing fanfiction.  And the support from my readers was absolutely incredible, because I seriously thought I wouldn't get any support whatsoever.  I barely had a clue how asianfanfics worked, so I had no idea what to expect from the community.

Do you like any groups beside SNSD?

Of course!  My second favorite group is Orange Caramel.  They're an insanely creative group and deserve much more recognition.  My third is probably f(x) because of their amazing music.  Some other of my favorite groups are SHINee, BTS, 2NE1, SISTAR, BigBang and one of the newest rookie groups The Ark.  I really want The Ark to do well in the K-pop scene because they're seriously talented.

ThisRandomKid13 asks:

Sooo. What's your writing environment like? For me it's me listening to music loudly that would fit the mood of the chapter...So what's yours like?

My writing environment is pretty much anywhere.  I've written on planes, buses, hallways, classrooms... a lot of different places.  If I'm inspired by something I've seen or listened to, I instantly write it down and save it as an idea for later.  Or, heck, if I think of a completely new story line with different characters and such, I'll write the summary of the story and see how I feel about it the next day.  But if I really want to concentrate and write a really good chapter, I'll usually write in my bed at around midnight while listening to some gentle music in the background.

jinyuan asks:

Do you consider yourself a feminine girl or tomboy?

Both, but a little bit more of a tomboy.  I love dressing up and looking good for events and such; but when it's a rainy day or I have nothing else to do (which really isn't often), I'll dress up in pajamas, put on my glasses, watch netflix, watch ESPN/sport games, read or play video games and such.

Where does your inspiration come from? I liked the Seohyun story a lot haha

My inspiration normally comes from the people who I've known or situations that have occurred in real life.  The inspiration for "Here to Stay" was actually quite interesting…

[story time]

It was around a year ago when I was in my final year of college after coming back from my hometown (in Texas).  My car had broken down at the side of the road at around midnight while I was driving back from a library in downtown LA.  I had been studying for a crap ton of exams and had to be back at my dorm at around one in the morning so I could at least get five hours of sleep before my first class in the morning (which was at six).  So, I decided that once the mechanics picked up my car, I would just go over to the nearest bus stop and be dropped off to my door to save some time.

After I got onto the bus, payed and sat down, it was about maybe 15 minutes later where it began raining and the bus had made its final stop before arriving at my university.  Out of the bus window, I spotted a woman, dressed in a black hoodie, dashing up to the bus and making her way inside where she immediately sat down.  And being the observant person I was, I noticed that she seemed timid, almost anxious in fact.  The way my mind works, I always think about different scenarios in my head so I began to wonder if she was possibly running away from someone or if she was just simply late for something.  And soon enough, the idea for "Here to Stay" just popped into my head and I began to write down the foreword before I went to bed.

[end of story time]

Also, fun fact: I wasn't even considering writing another fanfiction after "We Got Married: Tiffany Hwang".  I was just going to end it with that fanfiction and leave it at that, but after witnessing the woman who rushed inside the bus, I decided to try and write more about my life experiences and just replace them with characters and different settings.  If my car wouldn't have broken down, then I wouldn't have ever seen that woman on the bus, which meant I wouldn't have written "Here to Stay", which meant that I wouldn't have continued on with fanfictions.  So having my car break down was possibly the best thing that had ever happened to me, because now I get to share these awesome stories with you guys!

ktvftw asks:

Whatcha doing in life now? :P

Currently, I just got a job as a child counselor at an institute in my hometown.  I'm almost finished with closing a deal on my new apartment where I'll be living closer to my father, sister and cousins for the time being.  I've decided to live at my hometown for a while because really there's no other place I want to be right now, that's that.  So yeah… I'm doing okay  :)

Do you have any amazing fanfic to recommend?

    1) Surprise, Surprise for SNSD's New Manager (If anyone hasn't read this one, then they're missing out.)
    2) Friday Night Lights (This story is truly incredible.  It has a
realistic sense to a very personal situation, it's gripping, impactful, emotional and riveting.  Also, the author is incredibly underrated.  She really should have more subscribers.)
    3) Trapped in a K-Drama (This story is clever, hilarious, dramatic and highly entertaining.  There's not a single dull chapter.  The title really speaks for itself.)

coresplinter asks:

Insert erted question here haha joke. Not much I want to ask if guess... should we all follow you on sns?

Gasp! Oh no you didn't! Lol.  Well, I don't really use social media that much to be honest with you.  The only thing I have other than facebook is twitter.  But I only use facebook for family, that's it.  But you can always follow me on twitter! @9isUnbreakable

Thank you so much for the questions, guys!  I did my best to answer them in the best way possible and I hope to do more things like this in the future.  :)
