Oh Hell No, Don't Remove Kpop

So apparently what's happening is YouTube is trying to remove Kpop and other foreign music artists from YouTube, and is trying to make us pay for good quality videos.

I don't know if it's true or nah but like will I run the risk of not being able to watch Kpop? No, lol, screw you(tube)

So if you wanna continue watching Kpop on YouTube in good quality for free (like it has been for years), click here to sign the petition!

"Today YouTube confirmed that any “partner” creator who earns a cut of ad revenue but doesn’t agree to sign its revenue share deal for its new YouTube Red $9.99 ad-free subscription will have their videos hidden from public view on both the ad-supported and ad-free tiers."

Translation: YouTube is not removing music videos across the board. If the music labels don't agree to the terms of its monetization service, and they are part of the "partner" creator programme, THOSE videos will be hidden from public view. If they agree to the terms, they stay in the public view. If they aren't part of the programme, they won't be making money from the videos and therefore won't be affected by the new service. The terms set out how much creators will be paid as part of YouTube Red. ALL creators will either agree to the terms, or they won't. YouTube won't be removing the videos.

I don't know how true this is ... considering I'm now listening to the MV for "Bad" on the woolliment channel. And, at the time of writing this, the video has 9,568,378 views.

I do know that Google / YouTube are looking to integrate YouTube into its already existing Google Play Music service. Which has been around for a while now. http://lifehacker.com/whats-the-point-of-youtube-music-key-1662612843 The paid subscription looks to be for ad-free music, not just to listen to music at all.
