I completely see where you're coming from for that, and you don't even have to give commentary on why. In about two months it'll be four years since I first joined this site, but it doesn't seem worth it anymore. :/ We've all been growing up, our interests have changed, the website has changed a whole lot, and the things we once cherished aren't with us anymore. A lot of authors we loved have stopped updating, the stories on here almost always nowadays it seems, the readers now seem a lot more young and just go for one or two groups. And with the new karma system... It just seems as though everything is a competition, and it shouldn't be on here. Reading fanfics is supposed to be a fun past time, something we can just relax with and enjoy, not yet another thing we are competing against others on. :/
Owww did something bad happen? That's a pity. I really enjoy my time reading fanfic, yours and other amazing authors'. Kyumin shippers are amazing writers. However i know it's hard. Sometimes I try to be more active just to make you realize you are not alone writing for nothing. Thb I'm reading more fanfics than real books kekeke
There will always be bad mouthed people. You just have to ignore them. We still can keep you company!!!

Hi. I'm an author (here for 2 years) and on my old account I had two stories that got featured. The funny thing is that I posted here both stories and the situation changed. The one that was rated has no reports and the other one that is not even half dark as the first one, was reported 3 times in a week. What was more hilarious was the report for violent pictures and videos when the story has none. Yes, the readers changed and many good authors left. Aff became a market. More and more authors don't enjoy writing anymore. They just do it because the story should be updated, so the quality has to suffer. I did it too and I realized this is wrong. Now, about the exo tag...that's another story. Some do it because they like it or others because this is a good way to attract readers. After the saying - Give them what they want and they will do what you say. - You give them their bias and they read your story. I write exo (sehun,kai and luhan) because I like them and lately I started with seventeen as well. All my stories are for the OTPs that I love Yunjae, jren, jisoo, hunhan, baekyeol . kaisoo and sekai.
I remember this one reader that told me, quote "I wanted to read your story but I saw you wrote oc*idol stories, so I won't." I didn't update for 2 months. In the same time I started a multi shop where I'm part of the graphic team. That job helped me to remember how happy you can be when you do what you like. For all the authors out there: write because you love it. The immature readers will come and go but the stories won't, hopefully AFF as well.

I still love AFF an I have lots of fun with my subscribers and I still have people reading my stories and loving them and talking to me about them. I hope everyone commenting on this will still read and write and support those joy writers that are still left. THIS SHIP IS STILL SAILING!!!! I see it first hand being a writer. Still a lot of views and subscribers so it can't be all bad!
I don't know what makes you say this, but in my case, I really stopped being at AFF as much now..don't know when did it gets boring. ActuallyIdidsinceexotagsarefillingthefics..And I don't know if you read my post, but my fic was banned because it was reported. Back then, we have so much fics just like mine and use our own viewer discretion to read but now AFF is just full of immature readers that can't take dark stories and explicit scenes and report them. I bet that's why most of my fav fics get banned..
is a shame,we all know the pain of being a joyer but some people just take it to far, now other of my favorite author and blogger and a good friend of mine is gone again I feel so sad people must live and let live others :(
