 APPEARANCE    

• hiroshi has a slightly tan skin and he has a a small skin coloured scar underneath his right eye from falling down a cliff. hiroshi has pale chocolate brown hair which could get quite messy at times and bright green eyes. he is quite muscular and tall 

• his casual outfit is not very eye-catching compared to other trainers. he wears a thin white hoodie with a thin dark grey button-up sweater on top. he wears dark denim ripped jeans, not that he thinks its cool but actually because he had ripped it by accident and never bothered to fix it. on the bottom, he wears his usual timberland boots. hiroshi usually carries his stuff in a fairly large backpack, which is navy blue in colour and has a green charm attactched to it. he holds his pokeballs on his belt, three on each side. the order of pokemon on his belt is usually from left to right; jellicent, tyranitar, togekiss, swampert, milotic and vaporeon.

 TRAITS        timid, alrtuistic, truthful, serious, humble, independent.

• kindness and a knack of being helpful is somewhat in his blood. the two traits specifically came from his parents because hiroshi always heard his parent's friends say to him; 'you're as kind as your mother' or 'you like helping people, just like your dad'. not like hiro doesn't mind, it just means he's living up to his parent's views of how he should be growing up. 

• since he wasn't in contact with humans people in most of his childhood, he was accustomed to just greeting pokemon. so technically, he was grown up a very timid boy. when he was young, there was a saying that his mother would often say to him when he was in trouble. 'honesty is the best policy'. so hiroshi grew up truthful too, to the dismay of his sister who breaks things easily. 

• when living on an island full of injured pokemon, one must learn to forget about your pride to help those who are in need. this quote is from hiroshi when he explains the interviewers about the island and how he lives there and it perfectly sums up his trait of humbleness. he is also independent and serious throughout all situations. 
 

 

• hiroshi was brought up in the mysterious and uncharted island with his mother and father. his parents ran some kind of hospital and safe haven for injured and disabled pokemon, the reason why you can barely see any disabled pokemon out in the wild. once hiroshi turned five years old, he begun helping his parents out with nursing the pokemon and travelled with them on holidays once all the pokemon were healed.  

• only when he was fifteen years old and with his newly evolved marshtomp,  hiroshi set out on his boat for his pokemon journey.  eversince then, hiroshi has been living in the sea and goes out to the main land every four times for supplies. though that's really it for his background, not much had happened

 

• being in the sea for most of his life, hiroshi has many water / flying types
• his little sister actually picked out his boat for him, even though it was the most expensive boat in the store
• his mother was concerned for hiroshi because it was almost a million dollar boat and he was a mere 15 year old child
• hiroshi only fights when necessary or when he thinks its right to fight, so this means he doesn't fight gym leaders
• he is not a champion, but he is well known for being a fierce competitor so if people meet him they would want to automatically challenge him
• has had multiple encounters with team arson
• crosses his arms when thinking, bored or angry
• blinks a numerous amount of time

 MEETING   it was when on a family holiday in hoenn that hiroshi was brought to the pokemon lab where he first found mudkip. the mudkip was going all out, she was restless and wouldn't eat but when hiroshi entered it had stopped and listened to him.

 REASON    swampert and hiroshi have been through ups and downs, they have been together most of their lives and swampert was hiroshi's first proper pokemon partner. they have a special bond together that is undeniable and also very loyal to hiroshi.

► is stubborn towards hiroshi and takes the other pokemon under her wing
► swampert is basically the ringleader of the pokemon team; generally in charge of everyone

 NICKNAME  lo or milo; it is a simpler way of saying her name

 GENDER    female
 

 ABILITY   cute charm

 MOVESET   dragon pulse, hydro pump, blizzard, avalanche

 

 MEETING   hiroshi was travelling the ocean when he encountered team arson. they were surrounding the shiny milotic and hiroshi immediately tried to free the pokemon, since the team arson group were still quite weak (they were holding milotic back until the stronger members come to help), hiroshi beat them easily while rescuing the shiny milotic. milotic then wanted to stay with hiroshi. 

 REASON    everyone listens to milotic if something goes wrong (she takes initiative from swampert). hiroshi doesn't mean to be biased, but he favours milotic more than the other pokemon on his team, apart from swampert.

► many praise hiroshi for catching milotic as she is a shiny pokemon, but in reality milotic came to him
► milotic is the second in command; in charge of making sure everyone has a fair share of everything (ex. food, training, etc)

 TYPE      water 

 NICKNAME  ace; because vaporeon is excellent in accuracy 

 GENDER    male

 ABILITY   water absorb

 MOVESET   body slam, brine, ice beam, surf

 

 MEETING   vaporeon's story with hiroshi began when hiroshi's mother had found vaporeon separated from his disfunctional trainer (and was later found out that the trainer had purposly left vaporeon) and was brought back to saint island. hiroshi and swampert was tending to vaporeon at the time and vaporeron began to stick by them as time went by.

 REASON    vaporeon's accuracy is no joke as he is the best in accuracy skills out of hiroshi's whole pokemon team. vaporeon is also the most brash in the whole group, which makes him a good fight for opponents while battling.

► is not a leader of the pokemon but they look up to him; in charge of battling 
► vaporeon is usually the pokemon who starts fights
 

 TYPE      fairy, flying

 NICKNAME  toki; a name coming from toge kiss and is easier to say.

 GENDER    female

 ABILITY   super luck

 MOVESET   dazzling gleam, sky attack, magical leaf, aerial ace

 

 MEETING   the flock (what i don't know how to say it? group of togekisses?) of togekisses were travelling across the seas in search of land when they had found 'saint island'. hiroshi was there because it was his younger sister's birthday when the togekisses arrived and for hiroshi's sister's present she wanted a togekiss and so he caught her one. it turns out that she wanted him to have the togekiss so he would finally have a pokemon thats not a water type.

 REASON    the swiftest pokemon out of all hiroshi's pokemon yet the most calmest. it is the peacemaker of the pokemon.
 

► it is one of the two pokemon that does not fit the concept of hiroshi's water/ice team.
► hates fighting so tends to dodge attacks in battles

 TYPE      ghost, water

 NICKNAME  hellicent; simply because he was a pain to train but had stopped using the name after jellicent started to behave.
leese; the name comes from 'licent' in jellicent's name. 

 GENDER    male
 

 ABILITY   water absorb

 MOVESET   water spout, sludge wave, will-o-wisp, double team

 

 MEETING   hiroshi and jellicent first met when jellicent had tried drowning him after he had entered the jellicent's territory. instead of sinking the boat, jellicent had been ambushed from behind by milotic who had jellicent become infatuated with her which in turn, led to jellicent being caught by hiroshi. when training him, it was hard for hiroshi because jellicent was still infatuated with milotic. soon after four weeks jellicent was out of the infatuation he had for milotic.

 REASON    hiroshi actually doesn't know why jellicent is in his team. it must be because jellicent is so cunning.
 

► jellicent loves to trick hiroshi with the move he won't forget since birth, double team

 TYPE      rock, dark

 NICKNAME  vita; a shorter name coming from larvitar's last few letters

 GENDER    male
 

 ABILITY   sand stream

 MOVESET   outrage, chip away, earthquake, thunder

 

 MEETING   at the time, tyranitar was still an egg when hiroshi first stumbled across him. he was an overdue egg and did not start to come out of the egg properly. when larvitar finally hatched, he had to eat the soil around him (set by hiroshi's parents) and saw hiroshi, deeming hiroshi as his mother figure. 

 REASON    tyranitar's stamina is truly the best out of all hiroshi's pokemon (+ a mother can't leave it's child). also, it is the most intimidating next to swampert in the team. 
 

► it is one of the two pokemon that does not fit the concept of hiroshi's water/ice team.
► tyranitar is very protective over his mother (hiroshi)

 CONCERNS    omfg -- i did everything perfectly fine and then i forgot the personality part and i completely went blank. no srsly, how many weeks has it been and i can't even write one paragraph about how hiro's nice and all that stuff. /claps slowly at myself/
