Shida Mirai giggled. One more news of Ryosuke, she thought. Then, she heard her phone ringing.

“Hai?”

“Mirai, you okay?”

Mirai giggled. “You always worried about me regarding this matter, ne, Ryosuke?”

She knew he rubbed his forehead. “Ha. Just don’t get it, why they are so nosy about my business.”

“You are a star now, so it’s natural, right? Besides, it’s good to see your figure shown in media often,” she ended it with amused giggle.

She heard him sighed, then saying, “Looks like I don’t need to worry about it.”

“Yup. It is really alright. I completely trust you. Don’t worry.”

Ryosuke did not reply.

“What’s wrong?” she asked.

“Mirai,” his voice changed.

“What’s with this sudden seriousness, Ryosuke?”

“Is it really alright with you to hide our relationship like this?”

She paused then brought her sincere smile even she knew he could not see it. “It is better for now. If media know about it, they won’t be easy on us, right? I don’t want you to get distracted.”

“I’ve said it doesn’t matter to me, Mirai.”

“But it matters to me.” Mirai said. “It matters to me that you focus to your career.”

Ryosuke exhaled. “Alright. It’s fine now, but I’ll ignore your concern if things can’t be tolerated anymore. Beside...” He trailed off.

“’Beside what?”

“...Nothing.” Ryosuke said in a rush.

“Eh? You’re suspicious,” she didn’t buy it.

“Nah, forget about what I said. Do you have time tomorrow?” He quickly diverted the topic.

 “Why?”

“Mother invites you for lunch or dinner at the house.”

“Hmm, let see,” She remembered her schedule. “I’m free at lunch.”

“It’s lunch then,” he finalized then asked, “How is your movie shooting?”

“Ah, the shooting is going smoothly.” She was hesitating. “Hey, Ryosuke, would you... come to my sister’s birthday? I will be really happy if you can, but it is okay if you can’t. I know your schedule is very tight.”

“I’ll come.”

“Eh? Please feel free if you can’t. It is fine.”

“I said I’ll come.”

“Ah, really? Don’t you have practice with the others?” Because his group, Hey! Say! Jump, would have a concert in near time.

“I’ll make time.”

“But you’ll get tired.”

“It’s fine with me.”

“But...”

“Mirai,” Ryosuke cut her off.

“Yes?”

“Don’t you want me to come?”

She was taken aback. “O-of course I want you to come. But...”

“Then it’s been decided.”

Mirai smiled. She felt warmth. Ryosuke always has his own way to show that he is care.

“Arigatou ne, Ryosuke,” she smiled widely.

“Hn. Do your very best for your movie.”

“Hai! I’ll work hard.”

“Good. Then, see you,” he was about to end the call, but she hurriedly called out.

“Ryosuke?”

“Hn?”

“...I love you... Ja ne!” She said quickly. Her face reddened slightly.

“Ha. Ja.”

 The conversation ended after that.

She was about to sleep, but her phone vibrated as a new mail came. Her smile bloomed in an instant when she read the message.

I love you, too.

She giggled giddily. Her beloved Ryosuke was just too cute.

Kissing her phone screen, she switched off the lamp and immediately dozed off.
