ELABORATION ►
► sojin is an honest girl, but the many other students think otherwise. they think she is a liar and two-faced. this caused her to be very sensitive towards herself and what people think of her. sojin is also very reserved, not that she wanted to, she actually wants friends. she is also very helpful, being altruistic. this trait shows in both sojin and her brother. but everyone has their bad sides. sojin can tend to be a perfectionist, always wanting everything to be just right and having no flaw. when she makes her mind up, there's no way changing sojin's mind.
BACKGROUND
► on the 27th of september, 1998, sojin was born. her father was already gone, abandoning sojin's mother when he heard of her second pregnancy. she already had an older brother, which acts as a big role model for her. once she was twelve, her mother told sojin and her brother seokjin that she had cancer. she had cancer. ever since that moment happened, they moved to hongdae to get better medical treatments. meanwhile, over the next few years seokjin and sojin learnt how to live by themselves without their mother. they both gotten multiple part-time jobs to help keep their mother in hospital. their family apartment is small and they could barely pay rent, most of the time
at the beginning of highschool, some older students had saw her walk near the red light district after school, no doubt going to her home but they didn't know that. they also realised that her mother lived with her but was apparently never home. they put it together and thought that her mother was a e. they then spread the word to the whole school and most people began to bully her. the rest of the students either didn't care or didn't believe the rumour.

► their family apartment is small and they could barely pay rent, most of the time the landlord extended their deadline for the rent since he knows about their mother's condition. their apartment is on the third highest floor and near the red light district. the red light district is only a few blocks down from their apartment building so they would have to get home by eight, or else they'll get mobbed with drunk people.

PERSONALITY
► seokmin is a very charming boy who just loves to prank and fool around. he's kind and just a tad-pad-what? little flirty around girls. he is also very sporty, being in the soccer club.
LOVE STORY
► at the start of the year when sojin was assigned to sit her her spot, seokmin would play with the ends of her hair. she would shoot him a confused look but let him do as he pleased, since she couldn't stop him anyways. after class, seungkwan told him about the rumours circulating around sojin and told him to stop being touchy with her. seokmin shrugged him off and said that rumours are just rumours. after school when seokmin had to buy groceries, it was a wednesday okay? seokmin kept slipping on the floor since it was still wet but had no sign to prevent slipping. he was going to complain until he saw seojin coming out of the storage room with the sign, but her face was drained from any sign of energy and looked practically lifeless. seokmin helped her out after seeing her condition and asked her how long has she been working. she then replied with 'i have no idea, what's the time?'. seokmin told her it was nearly seven thirty and that seemed to shock sojin. she hurriedly packed up her equipment and said goodbye to the cashier leaving seokmin confused. he told her that in her condition, she would need somekind of help in case she fainted or some sort. they fought for a while, sojin saying that she had been worse and seokmin saying that that's stupid and unhealthy. either way, time was ticking and she agreed to let seokmin along. seokmin then learnt that she worked every single day and the rumours were actually and entirely false.
CONCLUSION ► after that night, sojin can happily say that she finally made a friend. though seokmin's friends (aka seventeen) were surprised he made friends with her, they are slowly getting to know sojin's real personalities and believing less in the rumours.
RELATIONSHIP STATUS ► obviously crushing.
