Miyun's skin is sort of pale for someone who is mostly spends their time outside a lot, but her skin does get easily sunburnt rather than getting tan. Miyun has a small mole on the right side of her collarbone.

miyun loves to wear feminine clothing and often wears either pale pink or white clothes. She would prefer to wear pants and shorts because she thinks that it is too innocent and is faster to run in, in case of emergency.

Personality. 
Miyun has a keen eye for small and detailed things, like when practicing a cheography and someone does a mistake, Miyun is quick to point it out but not in a harsh way.  WITH BEING PERCEPTIVE, MIYUN CAN BE VERY DIRECT TOO AND GETS STRAIGHT TO THE POINT WITHOUT HASSLE. She is very sociable and flies around to every group in the Big hit trainee circle. miyun can get really silly sometimes but that would make people smile, as its fun to get loose sometimes. miyun is also strong-willed, because when she wants to get something done she would have to until it's not needed.

When Miyun sees something out of the ordinary, she likes to see what it is in detail or in person. It is an extremely bad trait that she has because it often gets her into trouble by her peers. She can't stick to a simple timetable or plan because she often improvises and is unfocused most of the time. Miyun is a very action-based girl and is very impatient when it comes to learning something because she often gets it the first or second go. She'd frequently wait for the other trainees to learn or catch up or if she doesn't get it and is lacking, she will keep trying and get upset with herself. miyun is quite impulsive.

background. 
miyun was born in busan in 1995, but her family moved from busan to hongdae due to a better job option in hongdae a year later. in 2003, her brother jaehyun was born. it was a struggle since her mom, who was previously a stay-at-home mom now had to find a job so they hired a close friends daughter, hyomin as a babysitter. 

miyun was always out and about as a child and loved to move around, this may have triggered the personality traits she has now. since her energy was not able to be trained, jungri offered to give miyun dancing classes. in the dance class, miyun found her passion for dancing and literally could not stop, this meant she was always making her own dances. 

when she was 12, in 2007, she saw girls' generation debut on tv and was inspired to be just like them. jungi was hesitant, since it was hard to even make it out as an idol but let her audition when she turned fourteen. Miyun was deeply affected by this as it was two years ahead but continued prepping up her dance skills for that one hopeful audition.

trainee history.
miyun, as promised by her mother auditioned for sm entertainment after she turned 14. she auditioned by dancing freestyle and luckily made it in to the trainee program. as required, miyun would also have to do singing lessons. her vocal trainer was very surprised at the outcome of her voice, as he thought she would have a more bold singing voice but it was very soft. she told him she had no singing experience. her vocal trainer told her to take up rapping to see if her voice was the same outcome but again, her rapping was very soft yet melodic. both her trainers for dance, singing and rapping conducted she was barely under average for singing and rapping but her main strength. 

During her time in sm, there were dozens of rumours about debuting another group. miyun was ecstatic and began to train harder, only to be told that it was a male group. miyun brushed the fact off and continued to train as there could be chances of a sister group.

Again, during her time in sM, miyun met amber while she was practicing at lunch time. amber noticed there were still people in the dance rooms and noticed it was miyun working extremely hard. amber shocked miyun by saying it could be unhealthy to practice without eating. amber and miyun quickly became friends after amber saw her determination.

when the new girl group (red velvet) member line-up was announced, miyun couldn't believe that she wasn't on the line-up. Then again, she wasn't in smrookies. her friend, hyemin told her honestly that her talent was wasted and she should move to another entertainment. true to hyemin's words, miyun broke the contract with sm and auditioned for bighit, and thankfully was accepted.
