Hey everyone,

I'm very sorry to bring this news to you like this, but I need to say it.

As many of my subs know, (if they're even still on here) I haven't updated in a year. I'm sorry, and I can't do anything about it, and I'm sorry for that too. I know a lot (a LOT) of people liked my Jongkey fic, Forever, and it is, by far, the most popular piece of writing I've posted on the internet. I feel really bad that I can't finish the sequel, but honestly, I never should've made a sequel in the first place. But I could never leave well enough alone, could I?

No, and lots of you were okay with that. You loved my writing and I was so happy to see that. My time on this site has been some of the happiest times I've had, and I'm going to miss that sense of community that I got from being a member of this website. But don't for a second think I'm taking fics down, or deleting anything off this profile, I'm determined to keep everything up for history's sake. So that anyone, if need be, can come back and read anything I've written on here, whenever they feel the urge.

I'm not really one for deleting the past, since it makes us who we are in the present, to shape our future selves.

I hope you don't mind my leaving, and I hope, if you do mind, you can be okay with the fact that I can't run this profile anymore. That should be evident from the year I've been absent, but just in case, I can't run this profile or work on these fics while I'm getting ready for college in six months. There's just no way.

I'm not trying to bring you down, I'm just stating the fact that I'm most likely not coming back. And I'm sorry about that.

Also I made myself sad because I realized today is the anniversary of the last chapter of Forever, and thus, the end of my efforts to post regularly. I guess it's only fitting that a year later after the end of my most successful fic I should also end my time on this site, huh?

I love you guys. Everyone who ever subbed, commented, voted, and even read one of my fics, and I say a big happy thank you to you for contributing to some of my best times on the internet. Honestly, I'll always remember the stress of wanting to write Jongkey kisses and freaking out because I realized I don't know how kissing works and taking inspiration from my favorite writers on here, and just being here in general was a great experience for me, and I really think it's helped shape me as a person.

I don't mean to end it on a sad note, but this is probably the last you'll hear from me on this site. (You can find me on Tumblr, mkzmerryfriend, and Twitter, MerryFriend42. You'll have to request to follow my on Twitter, but I usually accept requests.)
