Living the fangirl dream.

Okay so yesterday night I went to the youtube fanfest in Seoul, by myself.

Before the "big event" there was fanmeeting and booths with stuff and things going on, a few performances and stuff.

Welp, I met all of of my favourite Korean youtubers. I got pictures with some, I talked with others, etc. I got to tell the Korean Englishman that he gave a great impression of my country hehe <3 I wasn't even supposed to see him (I had the incorrect wristband) but the security guard clearly didn't know that so he let me through anyway and I got my pictures and chat >:D And then I bumped into another youtuber I've loved for a while now- I hung out and had dinner with her xD Life was good.

Then came the event. Since I am tall I was a head above everyone else in the crowd lol. And the other tallies were kind like me and stood at the back so I still had a perfect view of everything! Yay!

It began with some guys handing out icecream lmao. I wasn't expecting that at all, gotta say. But then again I've never been to one of these events before so it was all new and spiffing to me.

Can I just say, Sungha Jung is an AMAZING guitarist and performer. He was so into it and it was fantastic music.

Everyone was so cool. You can watch the full event here (I think, unless it's only available in Korea rn because of copyright stuff. IDK cause I am here and it works for me lol) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWaX5BF1scQ

IDK if you can spot me in the audience but I'm the only naturally blonde chick there so there's that xD

At the very end the youtubers went around high-fiving and hand shaking :D I got to shake hands with most of them, yay!

I thought I wasn't going to get to shake hands with my favourite, though, Choigogi. I was a bit far from the stage, you see. But I called out to him in desparation and he noticed me.

SENPAI NOTICED ME.

And we shook hands. And it was glorious.

But that's not the end of my story, oh no. I was one of the last outside, cause it was crowded and I waited around until everyone else had filed out first (I'd rather not be part of the scrum). This paid well! Because suddenly I see Simon and Martina!!!

"Oh my god! A White person!" Simon says. It's true, I was the only one there apart from a really scary looking white guy security guard xD

"Hold on a sec-" Martina pinches something from my clothing. "You had some confetti in your cleavage."

And so, my life became complete.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE.

Today I posted pictures of me with people to their respective fan pages. And on Choigogi (my favourite, I remind you) I saw he posted about yesterday's event. So I commented this:

{**In Korean: Yesterday was so cool! You're a real charmer ;) We shook hands *.* I was the lone foreigner~

**In English: We made eye contact. It was special.}

And you know what?

Out of all the comments, he liked (thumbs up) mine.

YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS.

Nawh I'm just kidding tho. (Kinda. He's hot.)

TBH it's not really that special or amazing at all (certainly not unique) but I spend a lot of time on youtube so I personally had a really special night.

I just wanted to document it and share it with you guys.

Love to all~ and I hope you all get to experience your fangirl dreams ^^

I'm so glad you shared. I am now living vicariously through you. Although I did get to see Simon and Martina during their North America tour last month.
