BIOGRAPHY » 

Mei Hui's family had always lived in Anshan, China. She was obviously an only child but her parents had a miscarriage before her and were devastated. She lived in a small suburb on the outskirts of the city, but lived in a large share-house run by her grandparents. Besides Mei Hui, her parents and grandparents, seven other families live there.

 

Usually, during the day, it would only be Mei herself, her grandparents and the children. She was the oldest of the children and felt an instant need to take care of them since her grandparents were sickly.

 

When Mei Hui was twelve; she, her father and the second eldest child of the household, Jia Ying was in an accident on the way home from a school performance. It was dark and her father was particularly tired, he didn’t notice a car speed over the red light, crashing into Mei’s car and another next to them. The front of the car was hit first, ultimately killing Mei’s father instantly. Meanwhile, Jia Ying was asleep at the back with Mei Huang, but Mei was awake and saw the entire situation revolve. Jia Ying had minor injuries (cuts and bruises), while Mei went into a short-term coma from trauma. She awoke three months later and developed PTSD (Post-traumatic-stress-disorder). Her mother also developed depression, believing that Mei would never wake up and she would lose both of her beloved ones.


By the age of sixteen, her mother realized that sulking wasn't the right thing to do and began to live life happier. At the same time, a Korean man and his son was travelling in China to Anshan to visit distant relatives. Mei's mother met the Korean man and the both of them fell in love instantly. By the end of the year, Mei's mother moved to Korea and was married to the Korean man. It turns out that her brother was a underground rapper and invited her to go. There, she discovered her talent for rapping and continued to go to rap battles until 2012, where she was asked to join Lemon Ent by a fellow friend after a battle. Mei was unsure, because she had never heard the entertainment before and why it was named after a fruit, but after she heard of the background of the company, she joined.

APPEARANCE » In the public, she is always wearing the colour black somehow, whether it is the colour of the words on her shirt or her shorts. Always in winter or whenever she wants to, Mei wears her favourite black beanie. Jia Ying is a make-up artist and often sends over new cosmetic products for Mei to wear. Since she doesn't want to waste them, Mei will give them to the other female members or try new methods of make-up styles. 
FASHION STYLE » Mei strives for simplicity in style and fashion. Her best style is monochrome, but would wear bright clothing once in a while.

Your Story
CURRENT LIFESTYLE »  To Mei, nothing had really changed except dorms and training times, yes she does take singing and dancing lessons to improve. She also takes language classes after she learnt her bandmates were foreign. Outside of the entertainment, she likes to go to the gym often and and take things in.

TRAINEE EXPERIENCE » Mei found it very hard to interact with the other trainees in Lemon Ent, so instead of meeting new people, she befriended her dancing and rapping coaches. She spent most of her time as a trainee inside practicing her terrible dancing and song-writing. One time while Mei was going to a local chinese festival, someone mistook Mei for someone they knew. That person was Victoria of F(x) and soon became friends. During this time period, Mei used Victoria for venting out certain things while Victoria did the same to her.

PERSONALITY » Dongjun is a very sporty/athletic person who enjoys to mess around. He know's he is quite y which he uses to distract Mei and about it. Although he is quite emotional, Dongjun can be very silly, somewhat messy and always an active energy pill. He is also very competitive.
BACKGROUND » Dongjun was born in Busan, 1992 the eleventh of February. His family was not that wealthy but cared for Dongjun and his older brother, Dongheon a lot. Dongjun always wanted to be a pilot but instead became a singer in 2010 with Z:EA.
HOW THEY MET » Mei and Dongjun first met when Mei used the treadmill that Dongjun had always used. Dongjun was curious to who Mei was, since everyone knew it was his treadmill and watched her. Mei noticed and talked to him, explaining how he looked like a e. This shocked Dongjun but it made him more interested in her.

RELATIONSHIP » Dongjun and Mei are simply a little bit more than friends. Dongjun has a massive crush on Mei, while she had only realised her feelings for him. Dongjun consider their gym meetings mini-dates.

PERSONALITY » Mei is very introverted, but she claims the best people are introverted, so it's a good thing. Before her accident, she was very independent and took care of everyone; but after the accident, she lost all of her independence and everyone took care of her. Mei tries her hardest to lead everyone and regain her independence. Other than that she is very sensitive to hate but easily covers it up. She's one of the leaders that bottle up their negativity and take it all out when it bursts, Mei does this by jogging for a very long time. Once she jogged for an hour non-stop because of bullying.
LIKES » Chinese chicken pancakes, jogging, being in groups.
DISLIKES » Speeding, Lots of skinship (She can handle holding hands), coffee
HABITS » Mei flinches when she touches the small scar behind her ear. Scolding the younger members. She also stares glares at particularly nothing when she is bored. Waking up early, making chamomile tea, sitting down while rubbing the cup with both hands.
TRIVIA » Since Mei doesn't speeding, she often warns and threatens the manager to not speed, even if their late. She says if she wasn't an idol, she would be a good housewife that volunteers at a nursing home. Because of her glaring habit and dislike of skinship, the CEO of Lemon Ent thought it would make sense that her persona would be sort of mysterious yet cool, hence Distanced.
